I received this book for an honest review.<\/p>\n

AHH OK first off let\u2019s discuss that cover shall we?\u00a0 Sooooo amazing and sooooo beautiful.\u00a0 Ok now to the book.\u00a0 The reasons I sign up for CP\u2019s books are because they are super funny and uber hawt but I love her characters.\u00a0 There is something about her characters that always kinda catches my eye.\u00a0 I know she says she writes about \u201cinsta-love\u201d and generally I am not a fan of that but in her books it doesn\u2019t feel that way so I love the love story between the characters.<\/p>\n

Here we go, Devin is THAT guy.\u00a0 You know what I mean.\u00a0 The grouchy yet hawt, cocky yet hawt, arrogant yet hawt alpha\u2026.LOL\u2026see he caught my eye!!\u00a0 I was wishing I would hear him grouch and growl at me like he does in the book.\u00a0 The hubby was not a fan when I ask\u00a0 him to repeat lines from the book\u2026Just kidding or am I??<\/p>\n

Calla is in a word protected.\u00a0 She is protected by her family and she has protected her heart until a certain brooding detective comes and changes all of that.\u00a0 Why does she protect herself?\u00a0 She feels that she is the reason why her parents died all those many years ago.\u00a0 SO close off your heart and no more pain right?\u00a0 Loneliness yes but pain no but when Calla SEES Devin, its all over folks!!\u00a0 LOL<\/p>\n

The relationship is certainly hawt and while they are dealing with a certain case they get closer and closer and closer\u2026once they meet its like w wick is lit and in time\u2026BOOM .\u00a0 The chemistry started slow but by the end you are racing through your book waiting until\u2026\u2026.oh come on you know \u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026.wink wink.<\/p>\n

I am so ready for the other two books in the series!!<\/p>\n
