Marine Theo Lindemann is home for the holidays, what used to be his favorite time of the year, but this Christmas, Theo is haunted by the death of a fellow Marine.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tess Vargas has been putting off visiting her mother for as long as she can but she has no escape now that it’s Christmas time.<\/p>\n

Tess meets Theo drowning his sorrows at the airport bar and finds herself tasked with getting him on his flight. Upon arrival at their final destination, Theo offers Tess a ride and the pair end up snowed in at Theo’s parents’ house. When Theo’s parents would rather focus on his new ‘girlfriend’ rather than the loss he has suffered, Tess plays along until she realizes who Theo has been mourning.<\/p>\n

OH LYSSA!!\u00a0 Yes, I licked Theo and yes he is now MINE!!\u00a0 You know how super claimy I get\u2026..is claimy even a word?\u00a0 EH who cares I am pronouncing \u201cToday is Angie and Theo Day.\u201d\u00a0 FYI I totally imagine Theo James in this story\u2026sorry but yes he is my Theo!!<\/p>\n

Alright alright here is why I licked him and he is mine.<\/p>\n

Theo is a war vet who has been deployed multiple times to fight overseas.\u00a0 He has seen many of his buddies die but his recent loss was super close to home.\u00a0 He is sitting in an airport drowning in his sorrows about visiting his buddy when Tess sits next to him.<\/p>\n

Tess is dreading going home for the holidays.\u00a0 She is not looking forward to the first family Christmas at home.\u00a0 She is taken by the vet who she is drawn too.\u00a0 She can\u2019t understand it but wants to help him when he gets home.\u00a0 She stays and pretends to be his girlfriend but along the way uncovers the biggest secret of them all.<\/p>\n

If you haven\u2019t read anything by Lyssa I ask you this, WHY THE HECK NOT??\u00a0 If you have read her then you know how she can totally mind eff you with her story lines.\u00a0 She writes a story and then WHAMO you are like \u201cHow did I not see that coming?\u201d or \u201cWHAT?\u00a0 HUH?\u00a0 OMG NOOOO!!\u201d\u00a0 Well in typical fashion I was so absorbed in Theo and Tess that when her big bomb hit I was shaking my head like a cartoon character!!<\/p>\n
