She doesn\u2019t babysit often and aside from Marcie, I don\u2019t leave them with anyone else. I have a full-time life that includes a job and no time for a relationship. \u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd?\u201d He squeezed her shoulders, urging her to make an offer he wasn\u2019t going to refuse regardless of what it was.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd\u2014I have certain biological needs I\u2019d like to satisfy with something other than plastic.\u201d She closed her eyes, her blush denying the intimacies they\u2019d just enjoyed at the same time her hand stroked his thigh, promising more.<\/p>\n \u201cWell as to those biological needs\u2014seems like we can find a way to get them satisfied. When you\u2019ve got the time, I\u2019ll find the place.\u201d He pulled up next to her car and put the truck in park, idling in front of her sister\u2019s house, waiting for Kiley\u2019s answer.<\/p>\n When she remained mute, he decided coaxing was in order.\u00a0 \u201cYou do the calling,\u201d he said, switching on his truck\u2019s overhead light to search in the glove compartment for paper.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019d just as soon the whole town not know we\u2019re carrying on,\u201d Kiley murmured, her blush turning her pink cheeks to ruby.<\/p>\n \u201cCarrying on?\u201d\u00a0After the uninhibited fucking they\u2019d just engaged in, her old-fashioned description made him smile.<\/p>\n His quick rummaging turned up no paper, so before shutting off the overhead light, he held her hand and wrote his number on her palm.\u00a0\u201cIf you change your mind and don\u2019t call, it\u2019s okay. I\u2019ll not bother you. If you do call, I\u2019ve marked your number a TF.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cTF?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s military speak for\u00a0taboo frequency<\/em>\u2014a contact too important to miss. You call when you\u2019re able to get free and I\u2019ll make sure we get together.\u201d<\/p>\n He let her get half out the door before he added his last addendum to their deal.\u00a0 \u201cAs to the plastic, you might want to bring it along for a ride or two. No sense in letting it feel neglected.\u201d He liked a little variety in the sheets and he figured he\u2019d let her know up front, he wasn\u2019t all vanilla.
