I receive this book from the author for an honest review.<\/p>\n

Oh Luci\u2026\u2026You so got side swiped by love that is for sure!!\u00a0 LOL<\/p>\n

Lucianna was not going to stop searching for a clue against the dastardly man who killed her friend.\u00a0 She will not give up even though Edith is happily engaged and Ophelia is too busy reading then investigation.\u00a0 She will not fail her deceased friend.<\/p>\n

Roderick was too side swiped by love.\u00a0 He was bound and determined to destroy the person who ruines his chance at find who stole from his family. \u00a0He stumbles on Luci in a fencing match and he couldn\u2019t help but fall in love with her!\u00a0 She is feisty and challenges him every step of the way but he won\u2019t have it any other way.<\/p>\n

I loved the almost disgust that Roderick feels for Luci\u2019s sire and his treatment of her. His desire to protect her is what is his \u201cdown fall\u201d into loving her.\u00a0 Luci is going to catch the man who ruined her friend\u2019s happiness and took her life.\u00a0 When Roderick becomes an ally in her journey she is confused and finds herself even more drawn to the man.<\/p>\n

I gotta say, I loved how Luci was so stubborn and this book is like a taming of the shrew updated version.\u00a0 Roderick thinks taming Luci will save her but in fact it saves him.<\/p>\n

I can\u2019t wait for Ophelia\u2019s book!!<\/p>\n
