Cora Maddox is tour manager and roadie extraordinaire for her cousin\u2019s band Glory Days and has been since she was a kid.
\nShe is tiny but mighty and no one knows how to get shit done for a band better than her. Her only problem now is Taylor Vaughn, guitarist for Fatal Cross Live. The little island fling they had while she was on vacation showed her how much she really liked him, but when she tried to contact him for months afterwards he wouldn’t take or return her calls and that showed her that he really was just looking for someone to warm his bed.
\nTaylor Vaughn, didn\u2019t have a rough childhood his problems started when he and his band fell face first into the sex, drugs, and rock and roll life style. Yes, he was a man whore but something about little Coraline Maddox set him on fire. He knows he screwed the pooch when he never returned her calls but he had to get clean, be better so that when he next came to her he could beg his forgiveness and he could be the man she needed.
\nNow that they have to be together, because he\u2019s filling in for Glory Day\u2019s guitarist, she doesn\u2019t know how she is going to face him but she knows that she isn\u2019t going to let him know how bad he hurt her.
\nMan, Hissong is great at writing a rock story she really makes you feel like you are there. How she wrote about Taylor\u2019s addiction problems and how he struggled to get clean and stay clean was awesome.
\nYou can tell that Cora and Taylor feel for each other, even after the shit that they\u2019ve been through. When they need each other the most though will they be able to stand strong or will they crash and burn? I\u2019ll never tell!!!! Lol!!!
