If you are offended by these subjects, please do not buy this book.<\/p>\n Goodreads<\/a><\/p>\n Amazon<\/a><\/p>\n I purchased this book.<\/p>\n OH My GERD!!!\u00a0 I was so excited for Kaid to get LAID\u2026I mean\u2026find his mate!!\u00a0 Dude has been hella grumpy lately over waiting for his Ever to show up.\u00a0 Bam told him she was comin\u2019 but the waiting was killing him!!<\/p>\n So we meet Delilah and we are instantly broken for her.\u00a0 We know the horror she lived with being one of Lurin\u2019s victims but hearing the extent and length of her capture\u2026\u2026..so unbelievably sad.\u00a0 She is so confused over these kind people. No one is kind for nothing.\u00a0 Everyone wants something in return.\u00a0 So to see these people offering care and protection made her edgy.\u00a0 Then to see a DRAGON chasing a HUMAN set her off!!\u00a0 She let everyone know right away she will not tolerate any abuse.<\/p>\n Kaid is struck stupid by his mate\u2019s history but also by her strength.\u00a0 He can\u2019t believe it but especially how socially isolated she has been. The smallest things are all new to her.\u00a0 The idea of sharing food to show acceptance in a family or making a sandwich to show someone you are care all things we take for granted but she feels are monumental.<\/p>\n Delilah fears her \u201cmonster\u201d.\u00a0 She is afraid of what she might do to her new family.\u00a0 When Delilah senses danger she hides herself away from her family which kills Kaid.\u00a0 When we understand the reason of her fea,r which is a true fear, I loved seeing Delilah embrace her monster and go after her clan\/pack!!<\/p>\n Some of my favorite scenes are with Mav and Delilah. She is a riot and he really gets her mentality.\u00a0 He understands her fears.\u00a0 But Mav is hurting so bad.\u00a0 I can\u2019t wait for his book.\u00a0 He needs to open his eyes and accept his Ever before she is so far gone by his betrayal.<\/p>\n Bam\u2026seriously when does he get a book. My shifter man needs some love.\u00a0 I THINK we have seen his mate based on his reaction at the bar buuuuut I still want his HEA!!!!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Sandra R Neeley is a 50-ish Mom, Nana, Wife and Author who masquerades by day as an Administrative Assistant and Manager.
