Clayton \u201cJet\u201d Smith has enjoyed acting the part of rock star god bad boy since his breakup with rock goddess Valerie Quinn. He\u2019s racking up quite a score playing the field, and he has no plans to settle down anytime soon. His biggest problem these days is meeting his obligations, because he\u2019s so busy having fun, he forgets the important things.To help him out, he hires recent graduate Emily Brinkman to be his personal assistant, and he quickly finds a fire burning in his belly for her. So I am going to make a big time announcement…can someone please hold my fellow blogger
\nMelinda back?\u00a0 Thanks…ok here goes….Should Daddy Brad make me mad and we break up, I am sooo running to Clay\/Jet!!!\u00a0 Again , please keep Melinda still for me ok cuz she is not going to like reading that!!So I have to admit I was THRILLED to read this book.\u00a0 I loved Jet\/Clay and what he did to help my girl Val out during the book Bullet<\/i>.\u00a0 Jet was the perfect “distraction” that Val needed.\u00a0 He helped teacher her alot about herself and her wants\/needs.\u00a0 So I was thrilled to finally see him get his HEA.Clay is a wonderful, sensitive man who uses his Jet persona to hide his true self.\u00a0 Emily is able to see the “real” Clay and she loved everything she sees in him…she is a smitten girl but she has one big problem.\u00a0 She is engaged to a DB!!\u00a0 The crap her fiance puts her through is astounding!!! \u00a0 I mean just wait til you read the hotel scene!!!\u00a0 I was livid for her and Clay wasn’t a happy camper either.\u00a0 BUT that scene is what makes the Jet\/Clay and Emily connection begin.\u00a0 I loved him for what he says to her after she fights with the fiancee…..THUD for sure……*fanning myself*I will say that with every Jade book I have read, I get ready for the high level of angst.\u00a0 I am ready with tissues and tums. I know I will be mega stressed out.\u00a0 This book, however, had a totally different vibe.\u00a0 Don’t get me wrong, the book kicked solid ass and I was getting angry at the DB Fiancee but….this book was full of heart.\u00a0 Now, don’t get all crazy on me and say her other books didn’t have heart and flowers but Clay and his emotional side REALLY shines through. \u00a0 He is such a wonderful hero.\u00a0 I really and truly had a new appreciation and love for him after reading.\u00a0 When he bares his soul to Emily about his past relationships, I just wanted to hug him.\u00a0 I wanted to\u00a0 crawl in his lap and snuggle with him.\u00a0 He is a man of experience..snickers…but he is soooooo “innocent” at matters of the heart…..SWOON…….<\/p>\n

Ok so the naughty times between Jet\/Clay and Emily were awesome and hot…like you would expect anything different right?\u00a0 So if you are a Bullet fan then I really don’t need to convince you to read this book.\u00a0 If you haven’t read Bullet<\/i>, please do and then read Ethan’s book Rock Bottom <\/i>before reading Jet\/Clay’s book……<\/p>\n
