Clayton \u201cJet\u201d Smith has enjoyed acting the part of rock star god bad boy since his breakup with rock goddess Valerie Quinn. He\u2019s racking up quite a score playing the field, and he has no plans to settle down anytime soon. His biggest problem these days is meeting his obligations, because he\u2019s so busy having fun, he forgets the important things.To help him out, he hires recent graduate Emily Brinkman to be his personal assistant, and he quickly finds a fire burning in his belly for her. There are two problems, however. The first is that Emily is engaged to be married, a fact that leaves Jet unfazed. The second problem isn\u2019t so easy to surmount, though. Emily is disgusted and unimpressed by both sides of the man.<\/p>\n

I received this book by the author for an honest review.<\/div>\n

First off I have to say I fell in love with Clay\/Jet from the first\u00a0time we were introduced to him in Bullet.\u00a0There was something about him that just stole my heart.\u00a0 <\/span>I have been waiting for his story ever\u00a0since.\u00a0 <\/span>My fellow TT blogger girls have\u00a0their own favorites but I\u2019m not too happy to hear them tell me if their guy messes\u00a0up they are running to Clay\/Jet\u2026.NOT COOL ladies NOT COOL. \u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Clay is the kind hearted wants to help you if he can kind of guy.\u00a0 <\/span>In order to protect his heart, that has been torn\u00a0to shreds on occasion, has Jet who is his bad ass don\u2019t care what you think\u00a0kind of guy.\u00a0 <\/span>Emily was just graduating\u00a0with her masters in business and wanted to find a job little did she know it\u00a0was going to be getting a rock star organized.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>I loved seeing how Clay and Mary, his housekeeper, interacted one of my\u00a0favorite quotes from her was when he decided he needed to hire a PA and he\u00a0assumed she would be doing the interviews and hiring her response:<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cNO, tonto. You<\/i>\u2019ll do the interviews.\u201d<\/div>\n
I could just see the look on his face, the look of really she isn\u2019t
\ngoing to do this for me I\u2019m going to have to.

Emily was engaged to one of the biggest DB around.\u00a0 <\/span>You will see for yourself the hotel scene had\u00a0me fighting mad right along with Emily.
\n<\/span>If I could have jumped into a book and took someone out it would have\u00a0been him.\u00a0 <\/span>After it all went down this is\u00a0what Clay had to say:<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cThat guy has no\u00a0idea how to treat a lady.\u201d<\/div>\n
How can you not love a guy like that? I love that Clay can be all
\nheartfelt and loving one second and then unleash Jet and be well JET the\u00a0next.\u00a0 <\/span>Just read and you will see.\u00a0 <\/span>From there Wow did things heat up!\u00a0 <\/span>Jet did not disappoint that is for sure.<\/div>\n

Can I say I knew he was in love with Val in Bullet but I had no idea he
\nwas that in love with her.\u00a0 <\/span>I wanted to\u00a0crawl in to the book and curl up next to Clay when he laid his heart on the\u00a0line and told Emily his story about his past loves. Here is one of my favorite\u00a0realizations that Emily came to:<\/div>\n
\u201cher blood hadn\u2019t boiled\u00a0with him (Bryce). The hair on her arms hadn\u2019t \u00a0even stood on end, hoping to feel
\nhis touch.\u00a0 <\/span>Hell, she hadn\u2019t dampened
\nmany panties with the guy even; Clay, on the other hand, had infected her with
\ndeep desire, and she couldn\u2019t deny it.\u201d<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I loved the fact that Clay tried to bring Jet forward to protect
\nhimself but somehow Clay always came thru.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>He couldn\u2019t fool Emily, her dad, or Mary for that matter they always\u00a0seem to see what was going on.\u00a0 <\/span>Just\u00a0proves my initial thought of Clay\/Jet was right on.\u00a0 <\/span>Y\u2019all can have your Daddy Brad, Ethan, and whoever\u00a0else but I will stick with my Clay\/Jet no matter what. \u00a0<\/span>He is a kind loving sole with the a little bad\u00a0boy in him, I get the best of both worlds.
