I am sorry but this is a no pain kinda girl. Like I cry with a hang nail so yeah uhm no…..But this duets blurb and the covers made me beg and plead to read the first book. I finished reading it and was totally in love with a sadist. I have no clue how that even happened. When the ladies offered me book 2, I told my family I don’t care if they starve because I had a date with Sev, Ro and Min. I had to know what happened to my broken man and his 2 loves.

If you didn’t read book 1, then you can’t read any more. Nope sorry leave right the heck now. You gotta experience and fall in love with this broken, dominant alpha named Sev. You have to experience him and wanna throttle him like I did.

Book 2 starts literally right where book 1 ends…Sev, Min and Ro answering the door to find Sev’s long lost and very effed up little brother looking him in the eye. Seems the family got much worse after Sev’s forced departure from what we learn from Loic. Dude, I just wanted to cuddle the creepy guy with everything he lays out for Sev. But yeah then I remember he is creepy and kinda back away because..well…SEV and Ro.

Sev is a mess. He feels guilt for so many things…like why didn’t he go and help his family but he can’t really deal with any of that…because he has to deal with his love, Min but also with his other love Ro. Yeah like come on who wasn’t shocked and totally stoked for THESE scenes. I am with Min on that MM action #HAWT #More #DontStop

Our poly group have too learn a new dynamic…who is the boss of whom. Which sub is the top sub…fyi best banter with Ro and Min on that topic. But basically, they have too figure out a new Relationship. The 2 subs begin to doubt that they will be the one who can give Sev what he needs so we have too see the group struggle with that. But I loved that Sev KNEW. He is always afraid he isn’t a good Dom but he KNEW the instant his subs were lost or confused….dreamy sigh for dang sure! But him pushing his subs away made me get a bit angry at our hottie. Then him being a jackass at towards the end made me flip him off and I didn’t care if he was mad at me…he was being a DB to everyone!!

There is so much happening in this book…Sev doubting himself, the subs distracting their Dom, a creepy brother in the mix, family drama, love being expressed but the best part of the book for ME…the last chapter. To see Sev and all that he has been through and all the growth he has made….omg I want more. I am super greedy for this family.

Two writers in two countries transform into the super writing duo, Sparrow Beckett, each night after wrangling their housefuls of children and pets. They trade the cape and colorful tights for tattoos and cups of coffee then set out to create a world where readers fall in love with heroes and the women who willingly go to their knees for them. Their books are the products of two kinky minds who don’t take themselves too seriously.

Severin is a dominant jerk with a bad attitude.
