<\/b>I broke away from his contact and walked toward the window, needing a moment to clear my mind and gather my strength. His kisses had thoroughly left me breathless and weak-kneed. I watched as an inbound plane lined up its approach and inched closer to the ground for a landing.<\/p>\n

Looking into the window a little more carefully, I could see my reflection. I was taken aback at how swollen my lips had become from the intensity of his kisses. I jumped when I noticed Galen\u2019s presence behind me.<\/p>\n

His eyes met mine in the reflection. He eased toward me but I didn\u2019t run. I\u2019m not sure that I could have if I wanted to. \u201cWhat\u2019s keeping you from giving in to your desires, Sierra? You would not be here with me now if you didn\u2019t want to take this further. You can\u2019t deny what exists between us, and neither can I.\u201d<\/p>\n

His arms came around my waist.
