Happy Pride Month everyone!\u00a0 Twinsie Tenise here. I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who took the time to answer the questions for our pride month celebration. I had fun coming up with this years set of questions.\u00a0 We will be celebrating all month with author spotlights\u00a0 as well as my reviews for\u00a0 some of the LGBTQIA\u00a0 books I\u2019ve read this year.\u00a0 Check back daily to see what\u2019s going\u00a0 on and add to your TBR piles. 🏳‍🌈 Tell us your name and a little bit about yourself?<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Hi, I’m Audrey. I’m an artist as well as an author with a BFA in animation and game design. I love drawing characters and fantasy maps and you’ll see both in my books, especially the paperback of Shadows Dark and Deadly. Lots of art in that one. I write epic romantic fantasy and under the pen name Andrea Marie Johnson, I write polyam romantasy. All of it’s queer and writing these stories has helped me understand myself better and to accept that I’m bi and nonbinary. One last thing: I’m obsessed with frogs. If you got a little frog at WotR last year that was from my table and if you didn’t get a little frog, you can get one this year ^_^<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

🏳‍🌈 Is there a book or a movie that has helped you have a better understanding of a current or past event in LGBTQ history?<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Not a book or movie but a play. Years ago there was a small theater in Canton IL that put on The Laramie Project. It’s a devastatingly true story that I hadn’t heard before and it’s stuck with me.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Not an official review but a reader told me Shadows Dark and Deadly made them cry which of course made me cackle like the witch from Snow White!<\/div>\n
