\nI was intrigued by Crow at first glance. Who wouldn\u2019t be? He\u2019s a mountain of a man, who was raised in a cult and now lives secluded in the wilderness. But the draw I feel to him goes beyond mild interest. When his intense gaze falls my way, it feels like he can see into my soul, to my deepest yearnings and desires.<\/p>\n

I took a bold chance venturing to his mountain uninvited. But I can\u2019t help myself. Despite Crow\u2019s dangerous facade, I feel at home when I\u2019m near him. I\u2019ve never felt wanted or needed\u2026until the mountain man took me in his arms.<\/p>\n

Crow<\/span>
\nThe mountain is my home, the only place that truly suits me. I reveled in my solitude\u2026until Cyrus showed up looking as lonely as I felt. The warmth in his gaze made me welcome someone into my home and my heart when I never have before.<\/p>\n

The way he smells. The way he feels. I come apart with his every touch. The past haunts us both. Yet when we\u2019re together, the weight of it is manageable. Cyrus is mine, and I don\u2019t ever want to let him go. Still, I fear that eventually he\u2019ll want to leave the mountain, and for the first time in my life, I don\u2019t want to be alone.<\/p>\n

Let’s just say their next encounter isn’t as chance. Everything that follows between these 2 broken men is absolutely magical. I would definitely read and\/or listen to this book again. Oh, and the narrators voice is sexy af! I will be looking for more audiobooks featuring Zane for sure!<\/p>\n

Trent is an artist. He paints magnificent abstract art on canvas but unfortunately he’s also painting walls because that is what is paying the bills right now. Hes a loner with obvious secrets. It took me a while to work out what was going on with him. Once the layers of that onion were peeled back, the mystery that was Trent started to make a bit more sense.<\/p>\n

Sometimes I feel theres more unnecessary angst and drama where 2 men are invoved. If they would just TALK to one another maybe it could have saved some heartache. Mainly MY heartache. At one point I was freaking sobbing. My dog got up and looked at me trying to decide what was wrong with me. Oh nothing much pup, just dealing with some fictional trauma right now, mind your own business!<\/p>\n

If I had to describe the book in one word, it would be beautiful. The story was beautiful. The men were beautiful and weren’t afraid to tell each other just that.
\nThe art and story behind it. Beautiful. The acceptance. Beautiful. Nathan’s journey to discovering himself. Absolutely freaking beautiful. And the narrator, Nick J Russo, did a beautiful job with Trents southern accent.<\/p>\n

This is my 2nd time reading this book. The first time I read it, this time I listened to the audiobook. Joel did a great job, as always, with the different people’s voices. I listened to it nonstop from start to finish. This is one of those feel good stories that I can for sure see myself reading or listening to it again and again.<\/p>\n
