My name is Thia Mackin. I was born and raised in a small town in central Kentucky near the Bourbon Capital of the World. I’m a boring person who has experienced amazing things.<\/span><\/p>\n

How did you hear about this event?\u00a0 How many years have you attended?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both readers and authors have told me great things about this event. I’ve been meaning to apply for a while, but this is my first year!<\/span><\/p>\n

What genres do you write?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I write Urban Fantasy Romance. My books are spicier than UF readers expect but less spicy than most paranormal readers want.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is a book of yours you wish more people read?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Omega is my favorite book I’ve ever written. When I saw the premade cover my artist dropped, I dreamed the entire book like a movie that night. Luckily, Alex hadn’t sold it! I absolutely fell in love with Omega. She’s a strong, independent woman who will do anything to save the world–even sacrifice herself.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is one fun fact about you?\u00a0 It can be anything like food allergy, fear of something, weird way you broke a bone…….<\/strong><\/p>\n

I’m an adrenaline junkie–snorkeling with Caribbean reef sharks, ziplining over the Grand Canyon and Niagara Falls, hiking volcanos! <\/span><\/p>\n
