This book was so good. I did end up putting it down for a bit but once I picked it back up, I couldn’t stop reading. I’m sure you all know how that is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First we meet Chloe and her friends. I wasn’t a huge fan of her friends but I also didn’t want what happened to happen to them. They just gave off a mean girl vibe and definitely didn’t seem to fit what I would imagine Chloe’s friends to be like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They go to a hot springs and that’s when their lives are changed for ever. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The story then jumps several years and we officially meet Frankie. Her and Chloe were inseparable as kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The book shows us Frankie’s life and how she copes with the disappearance of her cousin and best friend. She still believes she’s alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the story progresses and we reach part 2, my theory had been correct. But it was the only twist I could figure out. The rest? I was shocked and had absolutely no idea how things would play out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I really liked the twists and turns, so much so that I ended up picking up another book by Steph Nelson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
