I stopped counting, but well over 3 dozen at this point. Unfettered is probably one of my favorites right along with Bound.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

🏳‍🌈 Do you write one book and finish it completely before starting the next? If not, how do you keep yourself from confusing the projects?<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

For years that’s what I did. One book at a time. Then when I started cowriting with EM Denning, I would have one solo book and one collab at a time. The past 6 or 8 months though I’ve been juggling multiple WIP’s at the same time. Right now I have 2 solo books and one collab happening at the same time. Thankfully, keeping them separate isn’t a huge issue because all the characters have very distinct voices and plot arcs!<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I write in an app called Dabble and use whatever their default is. I honestly don’t even know.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

🏳‍🌈 How do you ensure your LGBTQ characters feel authentic and mutifaceted, rather than just serve a plot function?<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

One thing I try to keep in mind is everybody’s story is unique, in real life and in fiction so I carry that through to my characters. While I may come up with an idea for a book based off a trope or device I want to use, I always make sure each character has a starting and ending point for their character arc and make sure they fully realize that growth before the end of the book. I think so much about sexuality and identity is a spectrum and the best way to stay authentic to my characters is to let them inform how their story is going to play out.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Feel free to share more than one, I know it is difficult as a reader to pick one favorite of anything. Especially if its book related.<\/b><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I mean, pretty much the only books I read haveLGBT pairings so it would be super hard to try and narrow it down. Obviously it’s tragic, but Song of Achilles is always going to be a masterpiece.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I used to, but not as much anymore. I used to craft playlists based on the vibe of the book so the genre really varied, but I love emo and EDM.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
