This is the first book I have listened\/read by this author so I thought I would give the prequel a whirl. I was pulled in pretty quickly. Samantha is called to an accident crash to take photos, but she hadn\u2019t been feeling well and ends up vomiting while on the call\u2026This was my first funny because it\u2019s something I could totally see myself doing, LOL! The next scene really gets under your skin and pulls at your heart strings. The plot thickens! There are lots of secrets and random tidbits that come up which don\u2019t always add up. One of the things that I had difficulty with the main character, Samantha, is that she was explicitly told several times that she took the photos for the police and she is not to discuss the case with anyone. But she immediately talks to her reporter father and her best friend. It seems like she just blabbed about everything. It drove me nuts! However, it didn\u2019t ruin the story for me. The ending wrapped up pretty perfectly and had me in stitches! I am going to give the next book a try and see what happens later in Samantha True\u2019s life. 😊<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Hey! I\u2019m Kristi.
