This one is not your typical “rocker” romance! So much more is going on. So many emotions, so many feels, I can hardly contain myself. Ellie did a great job of putting me right there in the thick of it. I felt like I was part of this crazy crew.

Skye is fucked up, possibly beyond repair. She’s endured so much heartache and torment at such a young age. Now as an adult, and a successful one at that, she’s still messed up, but just rolls with the punches and takes what she can get… a.k.a. Spencer. What goes through a girls mind when she picks a guy who treats her like that? Who knows! She amazed me at every turn of the pages and I loved her unconditionally.

Ash isn’t your typical “rock star,” well, maybe he was, but once Skye sees right through his BS he’s instantly captivated by her. I have to hand it to him. He doesn’t give up easily and thank God for that! Ash stands up to Skye, her brother, and his bandmates for “the one.” Exhilarating to read!

The supporting character cast is pretty big here. Let’s see if I can remember all the names… The Angel Fire crew is as follows… Bent, Bash, Spike, and Noodles. I’m not sure about Bent at the moment. He was kind of a dick! There’s a shady manger and the security detail which I ended up liking. Then there’s Spencer, Skye’s ex-fiancé. What a controlling asspipe. And my personal favorite, Bean (Beanpole) Skyes BIG brother. And when I say BIG brother I mean like 6’8″ of a BIG brother. He swooned me immediately.

So, I read it in less than a day. It’s that good! The characters (even the shithead ones) were very convincing and mesmerizing. The dialogue flowed flawlessly and the storyline was impeccable. Plenty of tension leading up to the climax that I struggled to put it down. I loved it and can’t wait to see what comes next.

This book has touched me in so many ways. It has so much raw emotion and anguish. My head is reeling, my heart is pounding and I can’t help but feel connected to these beautiful souls. Dirty Work is full of wit, sex appeal, and some serious issues. I loved it and can’t wait to shout it from the rooftops!!!

Jude Titan is my hero in every way. He’s an honorable soldier, a good friend, and the finest male character I’ve read in quite some time. His run for the Senate is anything but dull. He seems to make everything jive and when things seem to get tough, he’s the voice of reason. The calm one letting life’s bad juju roll off his back. I loved him from the very beginning!

Reagan Preston is anything but weak. She’s fighting for a position that she’s not even sure she wants. She takes the good with the bad, but you can tell she still just a woman with feelings and when her circumstances takes a turn for the worse, she takes it in stride and becomes one of my favorite female characters.

The supporting characters cast isn’t too large. It’s just enough to keep the story interesting. Reagan’s campaign manager Lexi is freakin’ hilarious. She made me giggle more times than I can count. Now the other campaign manager, Carl… well… I don’t like him. In fact he rubbed me the wrong way right from the beginning and I just couldn’t get past his jerkface attitude. There are more to this supporting cast, but I’m not ready to talk about them just yet. I’ll let you form your own opinion of them.

So, this book basically grabbed my by the neck and kept me enthralled from cover to cover. The storyline hit home for me as I’m a Republican and my hubs is the diehard Union Democrat. We always differ on stuff, but that’s life. We will continue to cancel each others vote out until I find a way to vote twice!! LOL! I’ve also worked for the DVA and Veterans hold a special place in my heart. I was glad to see so much focus on them.

The characters are powerful, the plot compelling, and the pacing fast and just what the doctor ordered. The tension is constant and the climax superb. Great book chickies!

JAYSUS THIS GIRL IS CRAZY!

It’s a comical story really. It’s a comical, emotional, sexual, and sadistic story. Imagine that! These two characters don’t seem like they’d fit together AT ALL! I’m still not sure they do, but I’m gonna run with it!

Rage, Ragina, or even Hope… whatever you wanna call this crazy bitch is all right with me. She’s definitely got a screw lose and I think I kinda like it! She’s void of emotion, or should I say, she’s void of all emotion, but anger. She leaves home at an early age and never looks back. She sets out to pursue her love of violence, death, and fury. Who knew she’d become a professional at a mad lifestyle?

Nolan is down on his luck. An accident has landed him temporarily in a wheelchair and he’s not happy with his current situation. On the surface Nolan seems to be the “good ‘ol boy gone bad,” but don’t trust first impressions. He’s much more than just a pretty face, and body, and mouth, and… you get it! His attachments and associations go way deeper than he’s will to let on.

The supporting character cast is not very big. Cody is Hope’s BFF when they’re growing up and he tries with everything he has to help her fit into a world she knows she’ll never conform to. Smoke is a MC dude who supplies Rage with many ways to relinquish her anger and fury. I like this guy, alot! *wink (I think he needs a book). A few others but none I care to mention!

So, this is a pretty fast paced book with tons of grit and angst. The characters are pretty cool and the storyline fairly dark. It was effortless to read and the tension leading up to the climax good. I can’t wait to see what comes next out of the evil ginger TM.

A LITTLE WEIRD BUT SATIFYING

This story is not really what you think it to be, at first. It’s angsty and dark. It’s heart wrenching and frightening. It’s even pretty damn comical at times. Jettie sure can write the crazy characters to a tee. Makes ya wonder, is she maybe just a little coo coo herself? Bwahahaha!

Jaq is a total freak! She’s got some major hang ups and she’s not open for suggestion, AT ALL! She makes a phone call one day that will change her life forever. Little does she know that her pathetic little life is about to be uprooted and displaced. I love her antics and the way she handles her animals. Her heart is pure, but her head is in serious need of rearranging.

Oliver is one of those kinds of people that is in constant movement. He can’t not be doing something. Even if it’s just his brain doing the moving. He never seems to be content with where his life is going or what his next job will be. So, when a wrong number comes in and intrigues him, he can’t help but follow up on the mysterious girl who needs a hitman!

The supporting character cast is pretty small. Oliver’s brother Silas is pretty much it! He’s a pretty funny manwhore that Oliver seems to need from time to time even though Silas seems pretty intent on shutting Oliver down at every turn. A few more, but nothing worth mentioning.

This book was weird in a good way. I found myself staying up late to finish it. Jaq and Oliver’s characters are pretty commanding and made me drop just about everything to follow their lives. There was plenty of tension and a massive amount of angst right up until the end. I would say I’m looking forward to Grayce With an A Y but I’ve heard that Jettie isn’t going to write that anymore. In fact I’ve heard she’s not even going to write under the name Jettie Woodruffanymore. Hmm… not sure but from what I gather, she’s happy about this and this is a good thing… We’ll see! I’m not making any judgment calls just yet.

Just finished this little whopper a few hours ago. It packs quite a punch and is filled to the rim with sexual tension, ample humor, and the best damn character cast I’ve read in a long time. The subject lines are not too heavy, but hinting at more intense feelings to be revealed later. It’s definitely one you all need to put on your TBR list like right quick and in a hurry!

Amanda was utterly spectacular. I loved her from the very beginning and why not? She’s gorgeous, smart, talented, and all around one of the best damn female leads I’ve read in long time. She made me laugh out loud more times than I can count. With that said, she also made me want to smash her face in a few times too. I loved that she was Lily’s roomie from the previous book Pieces of Perfect so we got to read about Lily a little bit too. I’m so looking forward to finding out who the man is Lily’s been going to see. I think I know, but I’ll wait till the next book comes out to see for sure! Now Shane, he’s one hot piece of ass! He was always straight forward, no fooling around when it came to his CrossFit classes. Sometimes I couldn’t tell if he was being a jokester with Amanda or if he was being serious. Some of those comments about her body, I just wanted to kick him in the nuts, but I get now that most of that was just banter between those two. Trust me, Amanda gave it right back! He’s a very trustworthy, outgoing type of person and if I thought I’d run into someone like him at a gym I’d buy two memberships like yesterday! LOL! Great supporting characters in Lily, Steph, Danielle, Kate, Kyle, Hot Rod, and even Master Bader.

The writing style is perfect. It always gets right to the point while making you feel every emotions our characters feel. Good, bad, funny, and ugly, you name it, I’ve felt it in this book. Elizabeth Hayley’s writing has a way of sucking you into her story and making you feel like you’re actually living it. The POV is Amanda’s and by God, she a great story teller! The pacing is great and kept me interested from cover to cover. I was sad to see it end. Like I said, I was seriously into this one and it felt like I was losing a friend when I read that last page. Never fear, I’ll keep you on my Kindle always Sex Snob!

Tons of highs and lows, and one of the greatest climaxes I’ve read in a long time. It’s approximately 210 (Kindle Verison) pages long. A perfect length to get this book under my skin, take me on a wild ride, and put me to bed with a huge gin on my face! Looking forward to your next one in this series!

A MUSICAL CONUNDRUM OF SINFUL PROPORTIONS

I loved it! I can’t stop this tingling feeling I have in my body just thinking about these two beautiful characters. I think every time Pam publishes a book, I secretly go bonkers inside! In my heart.. I know it’s going to be good, I know I’m going to fall in love with her characters, and I know it’ll be nothing like her previous work! Dark Notes is beautiful in every sense. It’s arousing. It’s amusing. And it’s got an uber dark storyline. Mmmm, my fave!

Emeric Marceaux is the teacher! The teacher from hell! If you cross him, watch out. He never forgets, nor does he forgive. He’ll have dirt on you in two seconds flat, so just beware. I liked him in the beginning. He was demanding and audacious, yet there was something about him that kept me from falling completely in love with him right away…. I guess I just needed a little Ivory to smooth out his rough edges and make him lovable for me.

Ivory Westbrook. Wow, this girl was amazeballs! I want to be her when I grow up. Although if I had to go through half the shit she went through I probably would have died before I could have reached my 18th birthday. Daily turmoil and this chick kept her chin held high. She never lost site of her prize. The prize may have changed a time or two, but she never gave up. I. Love. Her.

The supporting character cast wasn’t too large. We have villains and more villains. Bwahahaha. Just kidding. Let’s see there was Ivory’s fellow students who seemed to be semi ok if you don’t count the ones paying her to do their homework. Those fuckers are jerks! Ivory’s brother and the brother’s friend Lorenzo… holy hell, these two need a high five, in the face, with a chair! And Emeric’s parents… Not much dialogue, for these two but their actions spoke volumes.

This was of course excellent! What book has Pam ever written that isn’t excellent? None! The storyline drew me in before I ever opened the book. The teasers sold me on this book! The characters were powerful and intoxicating, I fell for them immediately. The dialogue flowed very effortlessly and felt natural. The pacing was perfect and kept me glued to my kindle. Pam created just the right amount of tension throughout, and the climax was superb. Wonderful story Pam! I loved it!
