I loved this family when we met them in Ivy and Maddox book but LAWD was I wanting to know about Cooper and Dakota. This book did NOT disappoint. *Fans Self* Cooper is everything you want for a best friend but also a fake or not so fake husband.
This story throws a few plot twists that had me going…oh snap but the main focus is the love Cooper and Birdie have for each other with out ever admitting that love. When they do admit it, thanks to a little bet between Cooper and Ari, its all ON!!

I will say I have listened to books 1-4 on audio but missed book 5 so jumping into 6 didn’t leave me confused at all. However, I would suggest reading the other books. Not because you will be confused but because they are that freaking delicious. I 1,000,000% love Measha’s alphas. They are so ALPHA. Dimitri is no different. He is arrogant, confident, and so not going to fall in love with his wife..eye roll…his cousins are just ridiculous with how they follow their wives all around by their dicks….LOL Another think I love about Measha’s books is that her females are not women who tower from the alpha men they deal with. Amelia is no different. She is a woman who runs her business and will not be pushed around by anyone. She also goes and yells at a powerful mafia man who things she will marry him. The love story between these two is amazing. It is all so dang spicy….like SPICY!!! Which is the next reason why I love Measha’s stories. I mean the chemistry is always off the chain hot. Amelia and Dimitri are no different. As with all her books you get great banter, lots of love and respect, family togetherness, and twists and turns that leave you guessing. If you want a great series, then this is one to start with or continue with if you enjoy the series already.

The one-time tiktok didn’t do be dirty was when I approached this author for an ARC of her book a long time ago. I have become obsessed with her work ever since. Can I tell you that she can write anything, and I will read it. She jumps genre without any issues, and I jump with her. Seriously give her book a try if you haven’t. MC/Small town/Contemporary/Paranormal she has it all and now cowboy romance. Ok enough of my blubbering about the author who is the bees knees if you didn’t now by now BUT this book…Siblings ex-girlfriend/close proximity/small town/the one who got away….GAH so many tag lines for this book. Chemistry topping is another one I will need to add. Maddox and Ivy have it in spades and I was here for it!! The story is told in flashbacks of “the night” and we have no clue in the beginning and then it comes clear, and all the fall out happens. WOOF tough stuff. Maddox and Ivy have loved each other for years and unable to admit to it because …well…awkward …..Ivy’s ex is Maddox’s baby brother..the one who doesn’t really care for him much. This story is so good. They both have to deal with so much. 4 years have gone by and they both haven’t moved on from the past. Maddon wont lose her again but he is scared to death of her. Maddox had my heart so many times but the box scene…yup I was about to push Ivy outta the way to jump into that book for that man. I met JD Hollyfield at a book event and thought she was adorable. I knew she has sudio books and I had credits so here we are!! I grabbed this book based solely on the premise of texting the wrong number. I mean brilliant is todays society who hasnt texted the wrong person once or twice.
Ram is a hilarious stalker….LOL I mean he is pretty in to Dani from jump and when they actually see face to face he was 100 in all the way. Dani texted Ram accidently when she was drunk texting her ex boyfriend. The two start to daily chat but Dani gets in her head about the WHAT IF. Ram is not going to stop from meeting this girl who has become his everything.
I loved the story and how they met was amazing. The chemistry between the two was great but Andi and Roman have them beat hands down. LOL I was so captivated by the story I couldn’t stop and was super sad when it ended until that prologue dropped and I was in a fit of giggles. Another credit gone to see what happens with Andi and Roman.

I was super excited to see this book was about older characters. I feel I can relate to them over younger teens/early 20 somethings. Plus who doesn’t love a 2nd chance with older characters??
Codie and Hank were such a great read. I loved this story of being first loves. I was so invested in the “why didn’t it work” in the beginning of the story since it was clear they had such love for each other.
This was a great coming home to your family story when you need them to support you through hard times. Codie and Hank go through so much in the story and to learn why they were split up was heart breaking but in some ways you understand.
Seeing Hank do all he can to show Codie the man he is now and the man he can be for her son was so heartwarming. I loved all the scenes with them together. The swimming scene was probably my favorite.
I loved the sisters and what is happening to them. I can’t wait to see what drama they have in store for us. But seeing Codie and Hank get that HEA was so fulfilling for me.

I have enjoyed every story I have read of S.J. Chaynie. She has a wonderful writing style and the story flows so well. This was an amazing story that I had a hard time putting down. I loved Ivy and Maddox from the beginning…but Brady not so much he needed to grow up and was not ready for a relationship in the beginning.
Ivy ran from everyone she loved when things fell apart and has not been back since. When she gets a text from her brother telling her they needed her back home she dropped everything and went home. Upon returning home she realized things were not going great for the family ranch. She was hoping not to run into Maddox Sheppard but fate would have none of that. Seems he works and lives on the ranch. When she first seems him after all these years, she found herself literally falling on her butt in font of him in all her glory. Maddox has had a thing tor Ivy for a long time but she is off limits because she is or was her brother’s girl. When they were younger Maddox was forever helping Ivy when she needed it because Brady dropped the ball with broken promises. Now he finds himself sharing his cabin with Ivy while she is home dealing with everything that happened to their ranch and home. It is a struggle to keep the distance between them.
I would love to visit Ivy’s special place the wildflower field it seemed so nice, quiet and a beautiful place to forget everything. Ivy and Maddox are perfect for each other but struggled because Ivy is Brady’s ex. I enjoyed getting to know all the characters in this book. They all have something going on in their lives that I want to know more about all of them. Brady was an ass for how he treated Ivy but he knows he screwed up. He deserves a HEA with a woman that will keep him in line. I hope that someday we get to meet that woman.
I need to know what happed to and is going on with Ryder. I am excited that it sounds like Cooper and Dakota will be the next book and I cannot wait to see their story.

when Dean finally leaves the ranch for his cousin’s wedding in Vegas, he figured a few drinks a tipsy bridesmaid on the dance floor and then he’d be back on the ranch back to his daily routine. Little did he know that Tessa was going to also be at that wedding as a bridesmaid, he’s had his eyes locked on her since he meet her at Christmas on the ranch but, the only problem that is stopping him from hooking up with Tessa is that she just happened to be his boss’s little sister and they treated him that she is off limits. But Tessa also wants Dean, and she isn’t about to let her brothers get in the way of that, drunk and in Vegas. Tessa finds herself waking up in Dean’s bed and on the table a marriage license, and she doesn’t remember a thing that happened the night before, Dean fills her in on a bit that he remembers. But apparently not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas when u come home with a husband. will these 2 be able to keep their scandal in Vegas to themselves and end it or will it blow up in their faces and everyone will know about it? OMG this was a great story loved the bantering and the teasing between Dean and Tessa love love love…. I wish Mason Creek would never end.

I was given this audio book for an honest review by the author.
Mark’s voice was a great pick for Monty the main male character. I thought he did a great job bringing the character to life. I did think his was missing a bit when he voiced the female characters and at time he seemed rushed to deliver the dialogue. I was however happy with the narration of the story at the end,
The love story in this book is Monty and Harper. I have not read the other 2 books in the story. I didn’t seem lost or confused as the back story was told in away that gave me the information I needed for this story. I will say it seems the OVER ALL ARK of the story is in all 3 books. Like I said, I didn’t feel like /I missed anything but if you can’t stand to read out of ore you might want to start with #1.
Monty, Monty, Monty……he is the reformed town manwhore. He likes the ladies, and the ladies like him. LOL The husbands however, are not fans of his…I mean I get it right???
Monty is looking to find the man who beat up a family member when he sees a beautiful woman on the beach. A delicious one-night stand later and he sees her again, except this time he is in handcuffs annnnd not the fun kind.
Harper is a DA and she is DONE with her crooked boss and her POS ex-husband who doesn’t seem to understand he is an EX not current. She goes to Mexico to get the guy she is after and BOOM meets Monty.
The couple keep “crashing” into each other. Monty catches feelings and isn’t a fan of this. He also isn’t a fan of just being “Man Meat” for his woman. Harper is so confused by Monty, but she is not looking for love at all. Been there , done that and still has the ring to prove it.
A few explosions, death threats, run in with ex’s and a terrible mother has this couple really struggling to be together.
I liked the couple and did enjoy the journey they took. Chapter 12 had me laughing so hard annnnd then freaking out a bit!!
Michel Prince is an author who graduated with a bachelor degree in History and Political Science. Michel writes young adult and adult paranormal romance as well as contemporary romance.
With characters yelling “It’s my turn damn it!!!” She tries to explain to them that alas, she can only type a hundred and twenty words a minute and they will have wait their turn. She knows eventually they find their way out of her head and to her fingertips and she looks forward to sharing them with you.
When Michel can suppress the voices in her head she can be found at a scouting event or cheering for her son in a variety of sports. She would like to thank her family for always being in her corner and especially her husband for supporting her every dream and never letting her give up.
