I purchase this ebook and audio.

The first book and this book are 2 totally different realms of reading. If you saw my review for book 1 you will recall I said I didn’t think it as all THAT dark.  Well that is NOT the case for book 2.  Book 1 is a cupcake with a scoop of ice cream on a summers day in comparison to book 2.  It is a throat punch from beginning to end.  The anxiety I had for the beginning part of the book is not anything I expected to have/deal with.

Book 2 is split into 2 parts and I have to say….BRAVO,  I loved the way the book was written.  Because the book is in 2 parts my review will also be split in to 2 parts.

Part 1 is Not for the weak of heart.  It is not for someone who has any issues with triggers because this part of the story is a landmine of triggers. The rape, sexual assaults, abuse, etc are OFF The CHARTS!!  SO if you take this book on, know you will be uncomfortable and you will be horrified.  You will also be cheering as people are murdered and again, I questioned my mental health with this book.  The author did an amazing job making me feel broken and destroyed and THEN we enter part 2.

Part 2 is much “easier” but its still brutal.  We are seeing Adeline deal with the trauma she endured but we are also seeing Adeline grow.  She is not the same woman and I gotta say, she is an even better match for Zade now then before.  Adeline’s ARC over the 2 books was amazing.  She goes from a carefree woman to a woman on a mission of revenge.

Zade…omg can I say I fell even more in love with him.  He is not a good man.  He is the best Antihero I have ever read.  He is not the guy you should be rooting for and yet when he makes Adeline mac n cheese wearing an apron for dinner…..I was melting.  Yes melting!!!  Zade teaches his mouse a lot but vengeance and bloodletting are the biggest lessons along with loving your person with your entire being.

GAH this book ruined me in all the best ways possible.

Now I hear Sibbie is getting a book. SHUT UP and take my money!!  I need more of that crazy ass Bish and her henchmen…but who is Craven???

I purchased this book and audiobook.

SO I have seen this book on Tiktoc and was like hrrmmmmmm.  I mean I like dark but dark scares me.  Anywho, I went to an author event, and she was there. Thankfully I had VIP so my wait was only 20 minutes.  I jumped up and bought the duet without really knowing what the book was about except the following: 1. Stalker 2. DubCon 3. Hella dark.  I pulled up my big girl panties and dove in.  Also because of the gigantic size of the book, I purchased the audio. LAWD Teddy’s voice was like butter.  *Fans self*  He totally brought Zade to life for my in the biggest way possible.  Since I am giving out compliments, I gotta say Michelle was perfectly vulnerable as Addie.  She was also very sassy bringing Addie to life as well.

So lets discuss all that is with this book. Remember I said it was dark.  Well I guess I expected it to be darker….now don’t go thinking this is hearts and flowers ya’ll because that it is not.  Its not ok in parts and there is absolute dark themes but with that said….I expected worse.  I am worrying about my mental health at this time.

Addie was just doing her life.  She was drinking with her bestie and signing books when Zade sees her AND decided she was his.  Zade did “everything he could” to let her go…by everything he obsessed over her and checked in to her life in every aspect before ….well going after his little mouse.

Their relationship is crazy.  She is being overwhelmed by him and the more and more they are together he is becoming overwhelmed by her and her acceptance of him.

The side plot of who killed Gigi, I was like meh when it was discussed but yet at the end I was like OH SNAP….I mean didn’t see it coming.

The cliffhanger at the end, I thought I had it figured out and much like the whole damn book with situations when I thought I knew what was up…I was damn wrong!!!!  I am absolutely obsessed and need the next audio like right effing now!! Zade and Addie….I need the final.  From what I understand its super gory and I am there for it.  I mean I cheered when a box of body parts shows up at Addie’s door.  LOL  Again, I question my mental health.

I purchased this audio book.

I want to say Michelle and Sebastian did a great job of bringing the characters to life for me.  I enjoyed listening to the story through their interpretation.

Ok so this book I was interested in reading.  I mean we all read the Cat and Mouse Duet so of course we want to know WHAT HAPPENED TO MOLLY!!  I think I initially thought she died at the hands of the traffickers, so I was excited to read the story.

So the story, I think I expected more….like more violence?  Is that wrong?  Weird?  I dunno.  I know the author was in a bad spot mentally, so I understand why this wasn’t AS dark as Zade/Addie which I think people expected that level dark.  I mean it’s dark.  Molly is feeding pigs BODY PARTS but the gore/violence isn’t as bad???

I did like the story.  But that is it.  I liked it. Molly was interested and Cage was a nice antihero.  But I found myself putting the book down several times.  Its not that I didn’t like it but it was missing that “GAH I NEED TO KNOW!!!!!” factor??  I wanted more of the past for Molly but at the same time I guess we kinda know what happened to Molly at the hands of the bad peps.

Anyway, I did like to and thought the narration was great.

I purchased this audio book.

I loved Sloan and Rowen’s book.  I enjoyed Lark and Lachlain’s book.  Rose and Fionn I was so looking forward to reading.  We have seen these 2 dance around each other in the last 2 books .  When we hear Rose declare she loves Fionn in book 2 before saving Lark….I was a gasp!!  I needed to know what happened.

This book takes us back to when Rose and Fionn meet and how they fall.  The story and the slow burn to their love store is soooo freaking good.  I think they are right up there with Sloan and Rowen for my favorite story line.

Fionn has always wanted to be the “good” brother and not like his siblings.  But he isn’t happy until some Mayhem AKA Rose enters his life and asks for help.  These 2 are perfectly imperfect for each other.  They are both so scared but want so much more…MY GOD did I scream so many times at them to just tell the other the truth.

This book was soooo good.  Barbara was a great serious break when needed.  I mean a rabid raccoon is a great way to break the serious right?  Matt coming for Rose and Fionn making sure his girl is safe is what makes us love the hero right??

I just cannot say enough about this book.  The slow burn is what made it.  The suture sisters made me laugh and what they helped Rose and Fionn build is classic!!

But I am so excited for what seems to be coming per the epilogues!!!

Ok first off, like the author says, this book is DARK. So if you have trigger warnings or if you’re unsure if you do, stay clear of this one.

Second, I absolutely loved this one! It’s dark, beyond hot and downright filthy. I would just like to say right away that I’m glad this book isn’t a standalone. I want more of Lux and Indie.

Lux is broken and lost. He runs a circus where nothing is off limits, you don’t get judged and you can have all of your deepest darkest desires taken care of.

Indie and her friends head to this circus for a night of fun but Indie wasn’t expecting the untouchable man, Lux, to be interested in her.

Lux thinks Indie is pure and shouldn’t want him and definitely shouldn’t be in a place like Cirque du désir. But even Indie knows that there’s something about the circus, especially him, that pulls her in. She wants to explore that dark side of Lux more but he refuses.

When he finally gives in, things are explosive between them.

After Indie has to deal with a situation at home, the two meet up again but I have a feeling that all isn’t as cozy as they think it is.

I think more blood will be shed as the series goes on.

Oh boy this book was fun. I’ve been on a Halloween dark romance kick and I’m so glad I came across this one. What’s better than one masked man? Three!

Quinn is a good girl and ends up at a Halloween party. She meets three men all wearing masks of serial killers from famous horror movies. Ghostface, Jason and Michael. She meets Ghost first and he protects her from the very start.

She vows to only have one night with him, which ends up being the three of them. Why choose right?

I’m sure she feels like she’s gotten in a little over her head, especially when the guys find out that she was bullied and hurt by people a few years before. Bloodshed happens but that doesn’t stop Ghost and Quinn from…um…enjoying themselves.

If you’re looking for a novella about three hot masked men, a heroine who brings them to their knees and basically no plot but all the smut, this one is for you. And better yet, it’s centred around Halloween! Best holiday ever!

I will definitely be reading the rest of this series. I’m dying to know what these guys are about, where they come from and why they are the way they are.

Oh man, now this is the book I’ve been needing to pull me out of whatever this slump thing is that I have going on here.

While this was a novella, it felt like it was longer. The authors did a fantastic job of that. Sure, I want more but that’s only because I’m greedy. *cough cough* Jackson. *cough cough*

So we meet Blair who is at a carnival and is looking for some fun. She needs some changes from her regular good girl life. She no longer wants to be this picture perfect princess.

Well…in comes Jackson to save the day.

Jackson works at the carnival and is this quiet, grumpy, ex-con. When these two meet, the sparks fly instantly.

Things quickly heat up and they end up playing a game of Hide & Seek. Sounds super innocent right?

This is definitely one of the hottest novellas I’ve ever read and I really can’t wait for book 2 to this. I need to know what happens.

This novella, although it’s short, does come with some possible triggers, so please read with caution. Your mental health matters.

Also, I read this novella just before Halloween, so it fit the season perfectly.
