We’re so excited (and a little nervous) to finally share this special episode of The Book Pod: On the Road!
It’s cozy, it’s chaotic, it’s heartfelt.
It’s a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to attend a book signing event—from packing swag bags and crossing state lines, to meeting authors, building a raffle basket, and being surrounded by a room full of people who just love books.
We were invited to contribute to the VIP bags.
We built a raffle basket (and filmed the person who won it!).
And we spent the day soaking up the joy of one of the most reader-loved author events out there: Writers on the River in Peoria, IL.Whether you’re a signing event regular or you’ve never been to one before, this vlog is all about showing how magical (and affordable!) these events can be—and what community really looks like when it’s built around stories.
