Craving Justice (Sons of Sydney #1)

synopsis

Four Aussies in Seattle
Once brothers
Now strangers
As an unseen enemy takes aim
Four must stand as one for Justice to survive.

A man branded by his past

Seth Justice is tall, daring and dangerous. The former street kid from Sydney owns a thriving technology company in Seattle. But he has bigger goals―or should that be ghosts?―that drive him harder. On the verge of selling his business for a fortune, he’s celebrating when Harper Fox, daughter of the buyer, tumbles into his arms. The curvy café owner enchants him with her sassy personality. Soon they move from easy banter to a night of passion that reveals a sweet vulnerability in the soft-hearted woman.

A woman determined to control her future

After a lifetime of her domineering father’s scorn and rejection, Harper dances to her own beat. She has her café and surrounds herself with a chosen family of her eccentric staff and close friends. While she’s mostly content… her heart aches for more. But Harper has been burned before and doesn’t trust easily. That is, until a man with a panty-melting Aussie accent and a commanding stare entices her to take a chance—on him. When Seth takes charge in the bedroom and ties her control in knots, he awakens a need in Harper that leaves her hungry for more.

A new beginning worth fighting for

When an unseen enemy attacks the new life Seth and his brothers have built, the ensuing disaster tests not only his developing relationship with Harper, but also threatens to sever the last remaining bonds with his brothers. As Seth struggles to protect everything and everyone he loves, he has to determine if Harper is his enemy’s target—or accomplice.

angies review

I receive this book from the author for an honest review.

I am a huge fan of Fiona’s other series so when she mentioned this new series, I jumped.  I love her writing style and the way she can weave a great suspense/thriller plot while making you fall in love with the flawed alpha male. This alpha with many flaws was Mr. Seth Justice. He was a street thug who has a street family.  They come to the rescue of an American and BOOM life changed forever.  He is taken in and adopted. The street thug becomes rich and successful.

The story begins with our Seth and his American brother Dillon setting up to sell their new business to a gentleman. When they go to celebrate a beautiful but clumsy woman literally falls into his arms…..enter our heroine Harper.  Well turns out she is the business man’s black sheep daughter.

The chemistry and connection between Harper and Seth is up front and center right from the beginning.  They hit it off and begin dating but then hit a snafu when an online cyber-attack hits him, his brothers and Seth’s new lady interest Harper, the Aussie goes full Alpha protecting what is his.

I loved Loved Loved Harpers Sassy spirit.  I loved how she never backed down to Seth even when things are said in a heated moment.  I loved Seth’s brothers and their bond.  They looked out for each other on the streets when they had nothing and continue when they have everything to lose.  OMG Seth……DROOL…..where is this man in RL???  LOL  He is the perfect mix of brooding, sexy, commanding, thoughtful and loving.

I was loving the plot and the “who is the hacker?” theme.  The ending of the story flew and I couldn’t put the book down. I thought I knew the “bad guy”  SEVERAL TIMES and was like NO WAY when the ending was revealed….I cannot wait for more from this series.  I am gonna tell ya…Adam, yeah I REALLY want to read his story and I hope Hope Hope it’s with Jinx!!!  Fingers Crosses!!

about the author

I live in the sunny environs of Sydney, Australia, and share a house with my dog, Letty. Oh, and the flock of cockatoos that take over the back yard each afternoon, demanding their feed of Arnott’s Milk Arrowroot Biscuits. Things get a little noisy around 3.00pm in our household.

My love of romance started back when I was twelve and my mum’s stash of Mills and Boon novels proved too much of a temptation. At fifteen, I decided the life of a romance writer was for me. Some…ah…years later, I’ve clawed together enough gumption to make my dream a reality.

When not sitting in front of the computer, I can be found in the garden or enthralled watching a murder mystery DVD. I limit myself to reading other authors’ work between writing my own stories. Books are my ‘shiny’ distractions.
