As the royal heir of Zelnon, Princess Elodie should be living a charmed life. It is enchanting in a diabolical way that could destroy not only her existence but those she cares about as well. Her coronation is set for her eighteenth birthday, but an evil force is determined to destroy any chance she has of becoming queen.

A week before her birthday a curse is enacted sending her to the nightmare realm of Malediction–sweeping her, a trusted guard, and the prince of a neighboring kingdom into its dark clutches. Escaping the world is impossible, but if they don’t find a way out they will either die or become permanent residents of the dreamscape.
If Elodie doesn’t return home in time her kingdom could be lost to her forever. As they battle for their lives, every decision exacts a monumental price. They must make sacrifices that will burn a hole into their souls and every step brings new risks. With victory within reach, they realize that it comes with an irremediable loss and must suffer the consequences of their actions.

Elodie, Princess of Zelnon has a mission. More than one to be exact. She has certain things to check off of her list: save the knight, escape Malediction, and overthrow her step-mother Fiona’s rule of her kingdom. One of those alone is daunting, but all three?

As she travels with Prince Daire, an overzealous bird, and a white tiger with silver stripes. she is forced to make decisions that will affect them all. Each step they take brings a new challenge to overcome. Death becomes a very real possibility and she has to make a decision that alters someone she cares about irrevocably.

Saving herself is becoming increasingly impossible, and each choice seems to make matters worse. As they travel through the nightmare realm of Malediction, rescuing her knight might be the last thing she’s able to do. Trusting her allies becomes even more difficult and in the end, Malediction might claim them after-all.

The hunt is only beginning, and magic swirls within it keeping them both on the right path, and leading them astray…

Malediction has claimed Princess Elodie of Zelnon and her friends. They must fight to escape even when it seems like they are living in an endless curse. Through each battle they take one step closer to their ultimate goal—home. What is lost is their key to returning to Zelnon, and Elodie’s rightful place on the throne. There are two different paths, both desired, but one will bring her home—the other could lead to her downfall.

Some prophecies are self-fulfilling, and Elodie must be careful she doesn’t make her worst fears happen. She has many decisions to make—and once they’re in Zelnon, the true battle will begin.
