I don’t remember what got me to read one of Sandrine’s books, but after one, I was a total goner.  To the point that on a cruise one year, all I read was her books.

From the “Assassin Shifter” series to the “Santorno’s”.  Love love love. Mateo and Riley and the purple Hippo, and the Youngblood family that keeps growing.
Then came the rockers,  “The Rock Series” was, is so much fun and I am so glad it went with audible.  I purchased the audible as soon as  I could.  And with the introduction of this group of books she introduced me to another M/M author…Ann Lister.  What fun, the mixing of the Rockers!!  I also love how Sandrine has combined the Olympians with the Shifters and how she always has a positive in a world that could be a total negative.  She is not naive or too
syrupy with her books (which is a plus in my opinion).  Sandrine does portray life and its ups and downs and even the evil.  I do love how she brings in the good, and communication into her characters.  I could go on for hours or days, but the simple truth is, read one of Sandrine Gasq Dion’s books ( Start at the Beginning, that’s best) and get hooked.

I took this book without even knowing what it was about…yeah that is how I roll some days!! LOL  I just saw that the author needed some reviews plus I had the time…sooooo….I sat down to read it.

I gotta say, The angst of this book……..OMG SOOO GOOD!!  I mean Bentley (Love the name tbh) and Julianna are super hot…combustable hot.  When Jules learns that her older brother/adoptive brother is getting married she is less than thrilled.  She HATES this future Mrs. Rossi with a passion.  The beginning of the story Jules is pretty self-centered in that she doesn’t realize how needy she is with her brother but given their history it’s an understandable need.  She is trying, unsuccessfully, to be nice to the Barbie fiancée when she meets her brother….Bentley AKA Bent or much cuter Benny.  The two have an instant chemistry.

Initially Bentley just wants to meet this woman who is causing his sister so much distress.  He is curious about what makes her tick.  When they end up spending time together, he can’t stop being drawn to her.  Pretty soon their “friendship” is more than just friends. …but they can’t be more then friends can they??

When we see Jules letting her guard down, I was super excited but then I was tapping Bent asking him when he is gonna spill the beans about Emmy…..I mean I kinda figured one of the secrets and we knew another but it’s never a good idea to withhold the whole truth dude!!

When Bentley and Jules decide to step up this relationship and then the wedding happens, my heart was all over the place….Happy and then devastated!!  I felt the hurt that Jules felt and I understood Bentley reasoning but but but…my heart was still a mess!!

I gotta say, for a book I had ZERO CLUE about I am super excited I took book.  It was a great read and I kinda am curious about the 2^nd book about one of the other “brothers” of Jules, Smitty!!!

I am a huge fan of Fiona’s other series so when she mentioned this new series, I jumped.  I love her writing style and the way she can weave a great suspense/thriller plot while making you fall in love with the flawed alpha male. This alpha with many flaws was Mr. Seth Justice. He was a street thug who has a street family.  They come to the rescue of an American and BOOM life changed forever.  He is taken in and adopted. The street thug becomes rich and successful.

The story begins with our Seth and his American brother Dillon setting up to sell their new business to a gentleman. When they go to celebrate a beautiful but clumsy woman literally falls into his arms…..enter our heroine Harper.  Well turns out she is the business man’s black sheep daughter.

The chemistry and connection between Harper and Seth is up front and center right from the beginning.  They hit it off and begin dating but then hit a snafu when an online cyber-attack hits him, his brothers and Seth’s new lady interest Harper, the Aussie goes full Alpha protecting what is his.

I loved Loved Loved Harpers Sassy spirit.  I loved how she never backed down to Seth even when things are said in a heated moment.  I loved Seth’s brothers and their bond.  They looked out for each other on the streets when they had nothing and continue when they have everything to lose.  OMG Seth……DROOL…..where is this man in RL???  LOL  He is the perfect mix of brooding, sexy, commanding, thoughtful and loving.

I was loving the plot and the “who is the hacker?” theme.  The ending of the story flew and I couldn’t put the book down. I thought I knew the “bad guy”  SEVERAL TIMES and was like NO WAY when the ending was revealed….I cannot wait for more from this series.  I am gonna tell ya…Adam, yeah I REALLY want to read his story and I hope Hope Hope it’s with Jinx!!!  Fingers Crosses!!

I received this Audible in exchange for an honest review.

I LOVE AUDIBLES!!!  I listen in the car to and from work (after I drop my kiddos off).  So it’s only about 10 minutes at a time.  It sometimes takes me a while to finish one.

I was immediately captured by the cover!  Wow!  He’s Hot!  The character’s name is Adam and he TOTALLY looks like Adam Levine!!  and hot can that get any hotter……. he has a British accent!  YEP!

Loved the voices for Adam and Ellie!

It did take me a bit to get used to the voices and their phrases.  I didn’t understand a few of them.  But I got the idea of them, usually.

The beginning of the story was a little slow for me.  I was anxious for Adam and Ellie to get together.  They both had rough childhoods and overcame a lot of tragedy.  They are very young to start the story, but soon the story goes to several years later.  I was a lot more comfortable with that.

You will love and get frustrated with both Adam and Ellie.  You want to yell at them at times (I actually did….many times – remember, I listen in the car, so I yelled at my dashboard a lot.  I’m sure that  people were laughing at me at the red lights, but I don’t care!  lol)

You will also love Dax. I really hope that the next book is about him.

Back to Adam and Ellie….. after many years of back and forth and miscommunications and heartache and grieving and, well you get my point…. You will get your Happily Ever After.

I loved the MM series I read from Daryl. When he offered me a cop of his Zombie book, I jumped. I mean HELLO ZOMBIES!!! LOL Well if you like Zombies like me I am sure you would have jumped too.
SO our heroine wakes up and is told her new After Death name or New Life name is Winter. She is kinda confused and not really sure WTF is going on. She is “remade up” to fix damage from her “death” and sent on her way. She doesn’t get along very well with her reaper and is really confused. She decided to try and re-end her life but meets tall dark and also handsomely dead Grimsky. HE is trying to help her understand their world when she is met with another issue…..a HUMAN who is taking shelter in her home. Now some of you zombie haters can stop worrying because Winter and her peps don’t eat Humans…ERRR Or do they??? Moving along…..We then meet even more new characters like the undead queen and her army of the brainwashed undead…..Shesh it was a crazy cast of characters who kept you laughing IE Winter picking her finger nail off accidentally to GAPSING IE The undead army bowing to Winter……
This book at times is so silly and fun but then after you read it your like WHOOOOOO…..seriously that is not joking but RL matters….It makes you look at things in a new perspective while touching on it in a light fashion. I mean who knew Zombies could teach me a lesson????

I look forward to a lot of authors and their new releases and Kylie has been one of my favorites.  I was super exited to read her new series after waving good bye to the Stage Dive guys last year.  When we were introduced to Vaughan, I was super excited to see more of him and get his story.  We know that his band breaks up after the tours over and I wondered what was up with him.  Well, Poor Vaughan comes home to a hot mess!!

The story begins with Lydia finding out some stuff about her fiancée literally minutes before walking down the aisle.  So what does any self-respecting woman do….she runs and flings herself over the fence to hide in Vaughan’s house.  She is very surprised when he comes in and finds her there.  Their #CrazyAtFirstSight story them begins.

Lydia and Vaughan have a crazy “I get you” vibe.  They each understand the cray of the other person and that makes an attraction grow…well that and her amazing boobs, hey that is what Vaughan says anyway!!  Vaughan is there when Lydia is dealing with her ex and his family. Then Lydia is there to help him with his family and their bar.  The have a lot of other drama/crazy to deal with and then they find themselves finding trust in the other when the last thing they should be doing is trusting anyone.

I liked the story and giggled a few times but I did feel a bit of a disconnect in the beginning of the story and at times I thought the story was developing slowly but a bit over the top??  Does that make sense???

I did enjoy seeing Vaughan, meeting his sister and the bar employees.  I can’t wait for Twist to come out next year.

I love Kylie Scott’s work and Stage Dive Series is one of my favorites. I was supper excited when I found out Vaughan was the next book in this new series. I was stoked we were going to get to learn more about him.

This starts off with Lydia about to get married when she finds out the truth about her fiancée. Lydia freaks out and runs only to find herself breaking into a strangers bathroom window trying to get away. Next thing she knows she is a mess cuddled in the tub looking up at a massive man.

Vaughan is taken back by seeing this crazy broken woman in his tub. But there is something there between them or maybe it’s just her boobs at first. They both have drama they are trying to deal with. However, Vaughan tries to help her out and in turn she decides to help Vaughan’s family by helping out at the bar.

I so loved seeing Mal he was a great high point. I wish we could have gotten more of Lydia’s background from pre fiancée days because I really didn’t connect to her and with her strong personality toward the end I think I could have. However, I enjoyed meeting Nell, Boyd, Erica and even Pat and Joe. I cannot wait to see and learn more about these guys.  Now to wait for TWIST to come out.

EEEP!!  Another awesome sifter series closed from Kenzie.  I love this sort and sweet (well not really sweet more like naughty) books.

This story continues from where the last one ended.  Cole was hired by a friend PI to protect celebrity actress and bear shifter Amberly.  She is not too thrilled to be stuck in the bayou. Her house was recently shot up and so she is in hiding with Cole as her handsome protector.  When Amberly gets word she is going to lose her coveted role, she flips.  When a bomb show up it sends her and Cole running deep into the bayou to hide out.

Their story is much like the other brothers in the series.  They can feel the “Mate Bond” and Cole will do anything to keep and protect his mate even if he gets hurt in the process.

The “who” and “why” of the stalking plot we pretty good.  We never really know until the very end the reasoning.  I enjoyed this book but wish there and been a little bit more.  This book felt rushed in comparison to the other 2 in the series.
