Tate is the leading lady to get the gossip out in the town of Mason Creek. That was one way she could control how much was said about her father the town drunk not that it was a secret her mother just tried hard to make sure that they kept the fake happy family picture in view. But it was wearing on Tate and that wasn’t the only thing Leo was finally wearing her down. He could handle her sass and attitude and he loved every minute of it. He wasn’t gonna let her get away Leo liked her since high school and that’s something you just gotta hold on to. But when her secrets of how much she really deals with gets out will Leo really be able to handle all of it or will he continue to love her from a far, or will her perfect rumor pick up and run. This was amazing I loved getting to feel everything Tate has going on and why she is the way she is I just love it…and Leo’s property ugh sounds like a dream come true.

I was given this book by the author for an honest review

Where oh where do i begin this is the beginning of one of my favorite series, Kendall had a rough childhood having been taken from her parents in a good way she went to live with her nana and gramps which she loved because she knew she was safe. When Nana got sick they had to move into a trailer and there she met the VanPelts Brian, Casey and Will they became best friends and those 3 boys became very protective over Kendall. They keep close through out the years and plan to move to California after Kendall and Will graduate and live happily ever after. Well until a fateful night that took Kendalls future from her and left her empty and heartbroken. Ugh this book is exactly what i needed and broke my heart all over again. But to have Brian meet a few members of the quad was the perfect scene of past and future being together without knowing. Ugh i need so much more.

Brandy Slaven lives in Tennessee with her husband and two wild children. If you can’t find her typing away at her laptop, you will find her with her nose in a book at the beach or hiking at a state park.

#review #standalone #partofaseries Perfect Song (Mason Creek 2) by Lauren Runow

I came back to Mason Creek when my life was turned upside down, both literally and figuratively. Scared and alone, I packed my belongings and left New York where I’ve made a career as a writer for a national publication to stay with my parents in the town so different than the big apple they might as well be on different planets.

Getting to see my friends was a big plus, but meeting someone new never crossed my mind until a ruggedly handsome man in jeans and a worn baseball cap came over to say hello. Not knowing someone in this small town is like not knowing how to breathe. The slightly older man caught my eye, just as much as I caught his. A witty and roguish personality kept me on my toes, even if falling for someone new is the last thing I need.

Neither of us wants a relationship, yet we keep finding each other in this small town. Rumors fly, hearts connect, and there’s more at stake than either of us are willing to share.

This man has secrets everyone wants to know, but when more than he’s willing to share is revealed I hope I’m strong enough to help him. I may have come back to town to save myself, but saving him might be the real reason I’m here.

I bought this book and this is my honest opinion

Justine is back in Mason Creek after being in New York for 10 years and she felt is was time to come home. Well actually she had something terrible happen and she needed a fresh start and needed to get away from the city. While back home her friends think its great for Justine to get out of the house and come to the local bar and while there she meets the local celebrity Tucker Simms the small town country singer who is a mystery man all in himself. He’s 15 years older then her and has a son as well but he catches her eye and she catches hers and flirting was done. With his past and her reason for coming back home will these two be able to come together and be each other’s happy ending or will their secrets be the thing that holds them back. This was such a good story it did take me a while to get into it but i think i was just burned out on the love stories so after taking a pause and coming back I couldn’t put it down. And Tucker is a total daddy 🙂

Lauren Runow is the author of multiple Adult Contemporary Romance novels, some more dirty than others. When your 8 years old you never figured you will find your best friend in a hospital the day that tragedy struck her life. For Ace and Heath that is what happens fate brought them together and from that point on they were best friends, but when Heath released that his feelings for Ace are more then just as friends that when his life gets a litter more tricky. This is an amazing story of how fate will bring two people together and give them a hell of a ride.

Clara Stone writes YA/NA Contemporary Romance and Paranormal Romance stories and is a complete sucker for sweet, memorable kisses. She strongly believes that true love conquers EVERYTHING, along with a tub of Ice cream!

When she isn’t reading or writing or dancing, much to the embarrassment of her husband and two kids, she’s probably watching Supernatural and The Walking Dead. So, if she sounds like your cup of syrup to your pancakes (or waffles… no favorites here), then give her a “Follow” to any number of social media kingdoms she’s built and stay updated of her upcoming releases, book sales, and book recommendations!

#WOTR #AttendingAuthor #Standalone Whisper Forever -C.A. Harms

I wanted to forget him so many times. Erase the memories we shared and pretend he didn’t exist. It would have made his absence easier to accept.

Lucas Rivers broke my heart more than once.

In my world he was my guy, the one I’d grow old with and laugh with. But things aren’t that simple, and time changes everything.

That naive girl with dreams of happily-ever-afters was gone.

I didn’t need a man to complete me. I was enough—no, I was more than enough. I was strong and determined. I was Madelyn Emery, and never again would a boy break my heart.

But the moment Lucas returned after four years, acting like we could pick up where we left off, that strength inside me shifted. The more I tried to ignore his efforts, the harder he fought.

How can one simple word whispered by one man mean so very much?

“Forever.”

Avid reader, writer, mother, and wife! I love to read contemporary romance. Add in a little “spice” or hot guys in uniform pants, and I’m a happy woman. There’s just something about diving into a book and engrossing in the magic of your hero and heroine getting their happily ever after.

When a witch and a siren walk into a bar, no wait that’s not even a funny joke but that is how this story goes well not technically a bar but anyway. When the siren Rivka gets sent on a mission from the underwater mob to get salt to save their leader she ends up getting caught during a cyclone and get helps from Lesya who is a witch not a very good one but a witch none the less. All Lesya likes to do is stay to herself grow her garden and hang out with her puffins, she wasn’t in the mood to help Rivka but ends up letting her follow along and sending her on her way once they get to the next city after the cyclone ends. Getting captured by pirates wasn’t in the girls plans but it happened and they got them self’s into way more then they bargained for once they got locked in the holds will they get out and get help will Rivka finish her mission or will they die in the hands of the pirates. This is a wonderful well written story that has so many twist and turns (for the good) that you don’t see coming.

HEATHER MARIE ADKINS writes too much but still too little. She also has too many cats, not enough tequila, and a torrid love affair with procrastination.

Heather resides in southern Indiana with a sarcastic cop who is entirely too dependent on puns. When she’s not plotting her next story or herding felines, she’s researching the weird, witchy, and woefully spectral for Spirits & Spells Podcast.

Jennifer Laslie is a crazy cat lady who lives in Utah with her wonderful husband and two children. Her office affords her a mountain view that she loves! When she’s not thinking about cheesecake or cats, she can be found in the bookstore in the Young Adult section, coffee in hand.

I was given this book by the author for an honest review

Once again we are back with my favorite coven of witches, Ariel and her coven have fought through a lot to keep their family save and even adding a few members to their family they weren’t expecting to. Well it was finally Ariel’s 18th birthday and the guys and her father were not going to let her not celebrate it after years of not being able to celebrate it. With things finally calming down Ariel couldn’t help but feel like something was going to happen but she just didn’t know when but something bad was coming. The Council was still leaking around ready to strike and when they did it was going to be big, but would they be able to pull it off. Would Ariel and the guys be able to protect their family from everything the Council was trying to take from them, will Quinton get Ariel down the isle, will the salt and pepper twins finally get some naked twister that they deserve there are so many answers that you just need to read to find. OMG Mary did not disappoint with this much awaited book I’m so glad to have this coven and world back I’ve had sooooo many fist pumps to the sky, its about times screamed, and are you serious while reading it. This makes my heart so happy and I’m ready for the next one.

Mary Martel was born in West Michigan and spent the majority of her life there. She currently resides in North Dakota with her husband, and her two beautiful daughters. She’s an avid reader, and when not writing she can be found with her nose stuck in a book.
