Anna Hague. I’m from central Indiana, and by day, well by night, technically, I’m a sports reporter for a newspaper. My husband and I have three parrots, two dogs, and we’ve had 11 foreign exchange students. I love sports and travel, we go as much as we can.
Where is your favorite place to write and what food must be present?
I have an office, but sometimes when I want some light from outside, I go to my kitchen table. Popcorn. I’m a huge popcorn lover
What are you favorite things about attending signings?
I love getting to put the faces with the names of people I get to know on Facebook. Getting personal feedback on my books is great too. And can’t forget the afterparty. That thing is awesome. I’m mean you can’t go wrong with a mashed potato bar.
What author would you love to meet (Who is your unicorn author)?
McDermott “Derry” Stanton is an old-money playboy who sleeps his way through half the world, one willing woman at a time.
A bear shifter, he never hibernates alone. Sometimes even one woman isn’t enough.
But when this irresistible billionaire meets Jessica Murphy, everything changes. The man who views life as a female feast suddenly acquires more discerning tastes. The only woman who can satisfy him now…
Is Jessica Murphy. He must have her. Immediately. Frequently.
Jess, however, doesn’t want any man, least of all a spoiled playboy who’s about to become her brother-in-law. A pre-med student with deep ambitions and a past filled with painful rejection, she’s all business.
Too bad Derry Stanton is her business. A frequent customer at the Platinum Club where she waits tables, and now the best man to her maid of honor in her sister’s wedding, the guy is everywhere.
And pretty soon, she finds herself everywhere, too.
In his arms, on his bed, between the sheets….
But sex is the last thing she needs.
Or it was until she meets Derry and starts hearing the Beat. And feeling a connection she’d never imagined, never dreamed, never hoped for.
It’s all too unbearably good.
* * * The Billionaire Shifter’s Virgin Mate is the second book in the Billionaire Shifters Club series by Diana Seere, the paranormal pen name for two New York Times and USA Today bestselling romantic comedy authors. This book is a standalone *within* a series. Learn more about us on our Diana Seere Facebook page. đ
This was the first book that I have read of Diana Seere. It is the second book in the series but I was able to follow this book without reading the first. I did like a few of the characters and a dislike for others.
McDermott “Derry” Stanton is the playboy of the family. His family is kinda unique it consists of three brothers which is two wolves and a mountain lion, and a sister who is also a bear. None of his siblings think Derry will find his mate because bears never mate one person.
Jessica “Jess” Murphy has one thing on her mind school she has no time for anything else. To pay for her schooling she gets a job as a waitress at Platinum Club. She is set off balance when she runs into Derry in the elevator. Derry is her sisters soon to be brother-in-law.
I liked the connection Derry and Jess have but their family interfered a bit too much. Between Derry’s brothers and sister and Jess sister these two have a mountain to climb. I did have a few characters that I would like to know more about like Edward and Molly but not sure how I feel about Asher. Here is a bigger story with Asher but his attitude holds me back from learning more about him.
Diana Seere was raised by wolves in the forests outside Boston and San Francisco. The only time she spends in packs these days is at romance writing conventions. In truth, Diana is two New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors who decided to write shifter romance and have more fun. You can find “her” on Facebook at Diana Seere’s Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/dianaseere
One year agoâŠ
Sunny Fairfax, daughter of a former Chicago mayor, had been tops in the marketing game. Sheâd taken a tiny tattoo parlor, Skull and Bones Ink, and turned it into the most famous studio in California. Then the owner and unrequited love of her life, Atticus âIceâ Eisen, fired her.
One year agoâŠ
Everyone thought Ice had it allâa privileged Beverly Hills background, a hot ink-slinging studio and a kickass reality TV gig. The truth? Heâd hated most of it, especially that frigging show. The only reason heâd stuck with it was because of Sunny. Then shadows from his past closed in, and heâd had a choiceâlet the one thing he actually gave a damn about get destroyed, or sacrifice everything.
The way he saw it, the choice was easy.
NowâŠ
Sunnyâs stunned when Ice walks into her new life in Chicago. Heâs the newest tattooist at House Of Payne, and no amount of dodging him works. Wherever she goes, heâs already there, ready to melt her panties with hot glances, hotter words and the hottest kisses sheâs ever known. But none of it makes sense. Why had he fired her? And how can she trust him now?
The shadows are back, but Ice is a different man now. Heâll protect Sunny from the darkness thatâs been dogging his steps every day of his debauched and useless life, and this time he has to destroy it. He has to, because when it comes to convincing Sunny heâs a man she can believe in, heâs on very thin ice.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Readerâs Copy of this book
Soooo every time I see or here this title all that plays in my mind is âIce, Ice, baby. â Lol!!!!!
Itâs Christmas in Shy town and we are back with the gang at HoP you know our favorite crazy tattoo artists!!! Man, I love these people…..
Any who, like I said we are back but with a few new people. Atticus âIceâ Eisen and Sunny Fairfax.
Sunny is a Chicago native and a PR whiz. After all it was mostly her that brought Iceâs California Tattoo shop Skull and Bones Ink to the most famous shop in Cali. That is until Ice fired her on TV and a show that she started no less.
Since the firing a year ago she came back home, which is good because her dad a beloved ex mayor is in poor health, but bad because she is working at a place that is the exact opposite of the Ink world.
Now, Ice has been in town since the summer and has sold his shop and taken a job at HoP and is ready to get his Sunny Day back. Yes he fired her, yes he did it in a horrible way, but he had his reasons.
Sparks everywhere with these two folks, all over the place. Lol, from the first âWhy the Hell are you hereâ scene to the âI love youâ scene these guys kill it. Throw in a slimy. black mailing, tabloid owning father and lots of secrets and BAM you got yourself one heck of a story.
What I love about most about Sunny and Ice is they are not a couple who met a few years ago, they have been in each otherâs lives since Sunny was a teen, went to college together, worked together to build something from nothing, and yes loved each other.
Yes, Ice did some really crappy things, but we learn why and he had a great reason and thought he was doing the right thing.
We also learn secrets always get out, its better to get it out there then for it to be twisted to be used against you.
A competitive figure skater from the age of eight, Stacy Gail wrote stories between events to pass the time. By fourteen, she told her parents she was either going to be a skating coach who was also a romance writer, or a romance writer who was also a skating pro. Now with a day job of playing on the ice with her students, and writing everything from PNR and cyberpunk to contemporary romance at night, both dreams have come true.
I didnât intentionally spill wine all over the most beautiful guy in the room, and one look at those icy-blue eyes brings on a major lapse in coherent speech. Jordan Caldera tells me his secret and wants me to join him. This is where my journey into submission begins.
So much about BDSM freaks me out, but at the same time, I canât help but be intrigued. When I imagine Jordan doing those things to me, I canât resist the adventure. Mind-blowing sex aside, my life is changing at an alarming rate and getting very complicated. Between balancing my career and my best friend’s concerns, the secrets I’m keeping are killing me.
What am I willing to risk for the new lifestyle I’ve embraced…and the man I love?
I received a copy of this book for an honest review.
This is a new to me author. I liked the way the author set the scene for this book. We do not get the story while it is occurring but instead bits and pieces as Emma tells her story to a reporter.
Emma is a vanilla kind of girl and when she spills her wine on Jordan’s shirt her whole world is about to be rocked. Jordan introduces her to the world of BDSM. Jordan and Emma had things to over come mostly Emma’s fear to trust and to submit fully. Sometimes things work sometimes they don’t. Emma hits a low when she losses everything in her life her best friend walks away from her, she losses her job and she is trying to hold things together. When she reaches her breaking limit she could lose Jordan too.
I did like watching Emma and Jordan’s relationship grow and hearing it through Emma’s point of view. They had chemistry but like a lot of marriages things can change. The ending really has me wondering what will happen next in Emma’s life. One thing about this book was things changed in the blink of and eye. I am intrigued to know what will happen next.
For 25 years, I’ve worked as a sports writer. I decided now was the time to pursue romance fiction as an author. I found a great group of RWA author friends who have helped me tremendously.
I get great support from my husband, and although they don’t know it, my three parrots and dog give me a huge boost everyday.
The Montgomery Ink: Colorado Springs series continues with a couple fighting to keep what they thought they had and gain what they didnât know they needed.
Roxie Montgomery met her soul mate when she least expected it. When he asked her to marry him, she thought her happily ever after was only just beginning. Then, she found that walking into the sunset was much harder than her favorite books made it out to be. After a crushing loss, she feels as though she doesnât know her husband anymore, or ratherâŠshe doesnât know herself.
Carter Marshall has loved Roxie since the first time he saw her. But as the days pass between them, so does the distance. He doesnât know how to show her that heâs all in, and honestly doesnât know if sheâs in at all. When an accident changes everything, theyâll have to decide if what they have can be salvaged, or if starting over is the answer. Or even possible.
Without fighting, without a true new beginning, sometimes, the remnants of what was lost can leave anyone jagged, shells of what they were before. It will take more than the idea of forever for Roxie and Carter to find themselves again, but as the Montgomerys know, nothing worth fighting for is easy.

We have come to the end of the Colorado Springs branch of the Montgomery tree with Roxie and Carterâs story.
If you are new to Carrie Ann Ryanâs Montgomery clan donât fret you wonât be lost as each book in the series is a stand alone story, reading the other stories isnât mandatory itâs just plain FUN!!!
Roxie and Carterâs story is a little different because they are already married, but that marriage is coming to a end and it isnât because of a lack of love.
Ryan shows us what a lack of communication does to a marriage with this one and boy does she just rip those heartstrings apart with it. As I said a lack of love is not what drives these two, Roxie and Carter have soo much love for each other that it is a beautiful thing and seeing that fall apart is just awful, however there is a happy ending in sight.
Falling apart, divorce papers, and a blind date is the push that is needed (Wow that is one heck of a push) to get Carter to see that what they need is communication and to fight for them.
Only Ryan can rip you apart and put you back together with a nice little bow and introduce the next Montgomery Branch in one awesome story. She also showed me that no matter what talk to your partner, no matter what it is or how you think youâre being strong for them by not talking, because in the end it will just end up hurting you both more.
Carrie Ann Ryan is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of contemporary and paranormal romance. Her works include the Montgomery Ink, Redwood Pack, Talon Pack, and Gallagher Brothers series, which have sold over 2.0 million books worldwide. She started writing while in graduate school for her advanced degree in chemistry and hasnât stopped since. Carrie Ann has written over fifty novels and novellas with more in the works. When sheâs not writing about bearded tattooed men or alpha wolves that need to find their mates, sheâs reading as much as she can and exploring the world of baking and gourmet cooking.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.
ANNND Another one bites the dust. Was I sad to see my favorite guy go? YUP but doesnât that always happen in those damn reality TV shows.
So we are now down to 3 dudes and TBH they gotta work for Angie to be all #TeamNewDudeâŠLOL
SO Claire is a bit sad to see my boy go and the other 3 guys start to put the moves on for her attention. ALL of the guys sneak some alone time with Claire in their own ways and can I just sayâŠone of the ways is super hawt!!!
The host, Cat, I have my eyes on and I am curious what the guys say during their confessionals that Claire isnât allowed to see that makes the TV audience vote the way they do.
Cat gives the guys a test and we see right away who is really listening to Claire and who is just trying to get her attention with muscles and flirting.
As always we are left wondering who is going to be cut in the final round and who will be the final 2 guys. Since the last book will have the winner, I am super excited.
My thoughts on the final guysâŠ.
1 He is in it for the money the guys win
He is in it to âWinâ the competition. Claire is just a prize at the end.
I am not sure but MAYBE he is my new #Team but he has some issues to work on

âHow did you find me?â
âWhat do you mean?â I knew what he meant but there was no way I was giving in that easily. I didnât know him. I may have been attracted to him, but I also wasnât stupid.
âOnline. You cracked my firewalls. How?â
âTen down isââ
âLily,â he barked.
I looked up, licking my lips. âWhat?â
His nostrils flared, his gaze following the swipe of my tongue as it slid across my bottom lip. âAnswer the damn question,â he demanded, his voice husky.
I leaned back, crossing my arms under my chest. âAsk me nicely.â
His jaw clenched. âLily.â
I raised an eyebrow. âAsk me nicely, Lucas.â
âFuck.â He inhaled a sharp breath. âHow did you crack my firewalls?â
âThatâs not asking me nicely, but I really have no idea what youâre talking about. I donât even know what firewalls are.â Although the words leaving my mouth were all a lie, I didnât move my gaze from his.
He chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. âYouâre good, Lily Pad. Youâre really good.â
âWhat?â I batted my eyelashes innocently. âI really have no idea what youâre talking about.â

I received this book from the author for an honest review.
WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! Jade GUUURL!!! The sexual chemistry was oooooffffff the chain in this book. OMG I wanted to sample some of that tall drink of water AKA Her Boyfriendâs Dad AKA Logan.
Bree goes through a lot in this book. She loves her boyfriend Bren but why wont he take things further with her *wink*. I mean what teenage boy turns down a willing girl??? UHM not many but Brendan is all about âwaitingâ. Bree seeks advice from Logan, Brendanâs dad when things start to change and develop between Bree and him.
The two have some great chemistry and when things âprogressâ for Bree we can see and feel the guilt she feels. She cheated. Period. She cheated, and it will destroy her boyfriend. It will destroy their future. As the book progresses, we can see Bree is really conflicted about both the men in her life. She loves Brendan but why is she thinking about Logan. Why does being part from Logan make her so sad. Why is Brendan still not interested in her???
When things start to come out about Brendanâs reasons for waiting we think Bree and Logan MIGHT have a chance when a BIG Plot twists is thrown at us. I have to admit I felt so bad and sad for her with her new possible reality. But I still loved Logan and was praying to Sweet Baby Jesus to find away for our couple to be together.
The final chapter of the book was GREAT!! I loved the time hop. We got to see what everyone was doing and how everyone was feeling after a couple of years have passes. I kinda hope we might get a book about Brendan because he is a great character plus his HEA looks like a great read!!
Jade Jamison
