Just one problem… I don’t actually have a groom.

I did—but then he decided to walk away before I even walked down the aisle.

Now if I want to save my reputation, and my business, I need to find someone willing to play the part of my fake southern fiancé and pull off my small town wedding without a hitch.

Review by Twinsie Dee

i was given this book by the author for an honest review

Ever since Lucy was a little girl she has been dreaming and planning her perfect wedding down to the littlest detail. She couldn’t wait to get married, she started her own wedding planning business, and found her groom to be, he proposed through a ring sent to Lucy from FedEx. Yes, you read that right he shipped her a ring and asked her to marry him, this wasn’t how Lucy wanted it to go but it is what it is. the day had finally come where they were going to be featured in a magazine telling the whole world about their crazy happy story. but when he starts to realized Lucy isn’t coming to him, he calls everything off and she is devastated, all the red flags were there she just never seen them. Lucy picks herself up she isn’t going to let Mr. Wrong ruin her perfectly ever after, she has some twist turns and complete stops, but Lucy is determined to find her prince charming. this was a well written story, kind of felt rushed in some spots but overall, still enjoyed the town, characters.

Brittany Holland

Tell us your name and then a bit about yourself.

Nice to meet you! I’m Brittany Holland – a contemporary romance author and self proclaimed book binger. My love of reading and an active imagination inspired me to pursue my dream of writing.

When I’m not creating worlds on the page I enjoy taking the scenic route traveling, capture life’s moments with photography and catching up on my favorite shows via Netflix or Amazon. I’m a Game of Thrones fan which led to my love (nice way of saying obsession) of Jon Snow aka Kit Harrington and Jason Momoa!!!

In other news, I’m addicted to Starbucks coffee, Spotify music, Buzzfeed quizzes and Haribo gummy bears… in that order. I’m an open book, if there is anything you want to know, ask away!

Where is your favorite place to write and what food must be present?

I love writing in my chair. My writing snacks always include Haribo gummy bears, dark chocolate. I rotate between Starbucks coffee and fountain Mt. Dew. And sometimes I get the odd craving for flaming hot cheetos!

What are you favorite things about attending signings?

I love meeting new readers, other authors and seeing familiar faces… it’s incredible to connect with people in person, face to face and on a level that you can’t reach via social media. I’m a hugger *guilty* LOL! I’m pretty extroverted so I love the opportunity to talk and interact. It’s amazing to meet people you know online but have yet to see in the flesh! I also love to check out new books, to hold something tangible in my hands, and signings are a great way to find new treasures to add to my bookshelf! Finally, seeing new places is always great!

What author would you love to meet (Who is your unicorn author)?

Hmmm. This is a tough one, because there are so many incredible writers that I look up to. I’ve been so lucky to have met a lot of the women who inspire me. One person I’d really love to meet one day is Jodi Ellen Malpas, writer of the This Man series. Also, Colleen Hoover, EL James and Tarryn Fisher.

What author would you love to write with?

Laurelin Paige because she is brilliant and I love how her mind works, she is a word ninja! Rachel Van Dyken because she makes you feel ALL the things even when you don’t want to!

What is your favorite memory so far as an author?

Just starting out, I went to an RWA convention and I met Nora Roberts (who I had idolized and read every book I could get my hands on since junior high) and Sylvia Day (whom I am a huge fan of). It was very surreal to be attending the same conference and an honor to meet them. The other has been having readers/fans that come up to me at signings and discuss my books. It’s a wonderful feeling connecting with someone who has not only read your words, but enjoyed them and wants to talk about the characters and the story. It’s something I’ll never tire of!
