Oh my! Oh wow! Whew! Awwww! Don’t read my review… read this book! (ok, so maybe you should read my review, ha!) This is the perfect story about not judging a book by its cover. Unless you want to judge the actual book cover…then judge away because it is hawt! Read My Lips is a breath of fresh air. We are given a city girl, Dessie, who seeks some normalcy at a Texas college. She sees Clayton who is the tall, dark, gorgeous, and dangerous man we all want. She tries to get his attention a couple times and he totally blows her off. This is so incredibly frustrating but so perfect. This sets us up to find out that Clayton is deaf. They both have things they are running from and for. To see their relationship unfold went completely beyond my expectations. You follow them and want to push them toward each other and when they finally do connect, OMIGOSH! You can’t help but root for them. It’s beautiful, alluring, and incredibly angsty! Chapter 14! Just wait for it! Yes, yes and more yes! Then it just keeps coming. Perfect!
