Cast back into Purgatory at the worst possible time, Shepard is reunited with Horace, Matthew and Niki. Unfortunately for Shepard, there’s no rest for the wicked. Shepard must somehow find a way to return to Elysara and rescue his true love. The catch, she’s being held by an ancient enemy, bent on recreating the universe one soul at a time.
Enlisting the aid of his old friends and new acquaintances, Shepard must battle his way back to confront this very old, new enemy. But this powerful foe has enlisted some help of his own. Shepard and his friends will face their toughest challenges yet to find his lost love and thwart this sinister plan, before time runs out.
OH HELL!!! Here comes BOB!!! I can’t tell you which of this series is my favorite because they are all soooooo different but with the same flare for gore, sarcasm, wittiness, and a killer plot! Again, I feel a little more evil with each book I read from RK. Maybe I’m going to hell because I can not get enough of the twisted thoughts, bent sarcasm and the rollercoaster of gore. But it’s totally worth it! These are my people!
“Sowing the seeds of discontent, creating doubt, disarray and general mayhem.”
This sums up this story PERFECTLY!!!!
Ok enough with this. The story starts right where 4 leaves off. Shep returns but with quite a vengeance as he actually died in purgatory! WTH?! RIGHT?! But the kicker is that he found Andrea. He F’n found her! And now it is his mission to get her back. But when he found Andrea he met Bob. And get ready for Bob! He is one of my favorite characters in the story. Well, there is Rusty (the cat) too. And he is freaking hilarious!!!! If cats could talk, LOL! Shep is ready to form the escape plan for Andrea. He gets everyone on board and gets some major help from Bob. But Bob, he is super simple but not. I hope that makes sense because it makes perfect sense to me. The thing with Bob is that sometimes he acts a little too quick and doesn’t give or get the best direction. Because of this the crazy group travels to some outlandish new planes of existence. The story stays gory with all the sarcasm that we love but we do get to see some of the truer sides of Shep….and Andrea. “Every choice I’ve ever made was for me and me alone, to save my (behind) or get what I wanted. I’m a survivor, not a (f’n) hero.” Shep says this and I think this is true for a lot of people. And as with the rest of the True Death series, nothing is as it seems. When we finally get to Andrea is everything all rainbows and unicorns? You must read this to find out!!!!!!!
The thing about RK’s characters are that they are a lot like me in some way, shape or form. I CAN RELATE! I feel like I know them and I can’t wait to hate them, love them, and threaten some of their lives! I am looking forward to continuing this series. And if you haven’t read the beginning of the series yet….WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!!!!!
I was born high in the Andes and raised by a band of wandering gypsies. At the ripe old age of 7, I struck out on my own, dabbling in the arts of alchemy and personal financing. Neither of the trades paid off. At 13 I became the personal juggler for Stephen King, but alas, that didn’t last long either. Since then, I’ve wandered aimlessly through life and this planet, stopping along the way to help people and smite the wicked.
A little while ago I decided to try my hand at writing. I published The True Death series independently for The True Death and The Vengeful Death but was recently picked up and published by Love N Books.
