I received this book from the author for an honest review.

OMG this book was hilarious!!!  I seriously LOVE the characters of the story.  Miranda and her crew of best friends were so awesome to read.  But the temptation tug of which brother, Reed or Ritter, was great too!  Miranda’s friends are seriously the best people around.  They lover her 110% and are going to do anything and everything to make sure she gets the HEA with a good guy this time around.

Miranda legit is told by her DB future ex its over.  They are getting ready to leave for a cruise when he drops the bomb, she is being replaced by a younger woman and she is to get outta their family home ASAP.  Miranda rallies her troops and they set to help her find herself and pick herself back up after 20 years of marriage.

What skills does an outta work housewife, stay at home mom have?  Well she has enough to charm a playboy named Ritter into hooking her up with a job at his company.  When she meets his very stuck up brother, Reed, she is confused as to how they can be so different.

As the story unfolds, we begin to see different sides to both men.  Neither is who we thought they were.  Is Ritter the good guy or a DB?  Is Reed really an uptight jackass or just a guy protecting his heart????

I seriously snickered so many times reading this book and loved, loved, loved how it all played out.

Melissa Toppen- I am a married, mother of two, who lives in Cincinnati Ohio. I’ve been writing full time for the last five years.

Where is your favorite place to write and what food must be present?

I tend to stretch out on the couch or hide away in my office. I don’t typically eat while I’m writing but coffee is a MUST!

What are you favorite things about attending signings?

Meeting my readers and potential future readers. Networking with other authors.

What author would you love to meet (Who is your unicorn author)?

I’ve been so blessed to meet so many amazing authors, along with most of my favorites. Some authors still on my list are Katy Evans, Aly Martinez, and Kandi Steiner.

What author would you love to write with?

Kandi Steiner. I have a major girl crush on her for sure!

What is your favorite memory so far as an author?

\At my last signing, a reader cried in line as she waited to meet me. All I could think to myself was -wow, my book affected her that deeply-. To see how touched she was by something I created is not something I can easily put into words.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

I was excited to read this book when I saw it.  The blurb totally enticed me.  Ex-Military men helping a doctor find what is going on in an African village.  It sounded like a great romance and suspense filled book….totally up my alley.

I know with a new series you must give the author some leeway to world build and this author doesn’t take much time for that.  The back story is told while we are reading in present time.  We learned about the team and their past while we are introduced to all the characters in the beginning of the book and throughout the entire book.

Each of the guys have a specialty and are not looking forward to helping the doctors in Kenya due to their past jobs and people they fought previously.

The doctors, Abigail, Chris and Andrew, are green to what will be happening when they are in Kenya.  They think it will be “simple” to investigate all these deaths.

Abigail and Bones have immediate love and hate with each other.  They are attracted and fight it.  It got a bit redundant hearing them both fight the way they felt about the other during the story.  I think it was to build angst but for me it didn’t come across that way.

Abigail and Bones work well together despite the attraction they feel for the other.   They soon learn what is happening to the people in the village and face off against the people causing the troubles.  The story line really picked up in my opinion when they were facing the bad guys vs dealing with the Bones/Abigail will they/wont they storyline.

Would I read the next story in the series?  Sure.  I did enjoy the characters and I would love to see what writing growth is in the 2nd story.

Ainsley Cole is a young (36 is young… right?) mother of 4 from Western Australia.

​She’s been lucky enough to have been married to her best friend for the last 18 years and they have made 4 adorably demonic children.  

​Ainsley started writing when she was only 11. At the start it was about fairies and elves, but it had grown into other genres, including Vampire, Werewolves and hot men with broken personalities.

    I received this book from the author for an honest review.

    I know I saw this every time I read a paranormal but It’s my JAM!!!  I love love love me some paranormal.  I love shifters, vampires, demons, angels, and all the possible additions to a storyline.  This book, which is a spin off series, was just what I needed and loved.

    I am going to start by saying I have NOT read the Eternally Mated series.  However, I will be rectifying that soon.  I did not feel I missed anything or was lost at any point of the story.  I think the storyline was filled in during this book about what happened in the other series.  SHEW right!!!!

    So this book is taking place during the end of the world essentially.  Ryder and his group of Navy Seals are set to protect the last few remaining humans to help repopulate the world after The Red Death has destroyed everyone. He is one of the original vampires and he has turned a few of his trusted men into vampires to help get the job done.  He only asks that females who do stay with them, help feed his men to keep them alive.  Pretty decent trade off…surviving death for a few sips of your blood right???

    Ryder is getting ready to leave when a sassy, pink haired beauty who is also a pain in his ass shows up and informs him he needs to protect her.  Seems Ryder and her dad were Navy buddies.  From the start of Kayla and Ryder meeting, the sparks and chemistry sizzle!!  I mean they are so hilariously attracted and annoyed by the other it makes for great reading.

    Kayla has lost everyone and is bound and determined to make it to this Ryder guy for protection.  She surely did not plan on the attraction to the alpha male and his over the top protection of her.

    Kayla and Ryder plus another couple soon find a strange mark that they have no clue what it means.  Kayla and another soon find out they too have another secret about why they have survived the Red Death when everyone else has died.

    On top of all the couple drama, we are dealing with rogue vampires, gross looking demons running amuck annnnd the portal to hell being opened to rid the Earth of humans in general….Yup LOTS happening in the story!!!

    I can not wait to read the next story but I will be trying to get the other 6 books of the other series read ASAP too.

    Kate….guuuurl you write some nasty and that is prolly why I love reading your books!!  LOL

    If you know about this series, each story is a quick, hot, sexy read about a couple.  Its insta-love but hell its insta-sexy time too sooo go in knowing it’s gonna be naughty!!

    I have to say I REALLY liked Max and Audrey’s story and considering Audrey’s secret …yup I still like her.  She is a confident woman and she isn’t going to stop being her even though she falls hard core for Max.

    Max is a workaholic and he meets a sexy workaholic at the hotel bar during a convention.  After some flirting they plan on ditching work for some much needed fun….annnd there is a lot of fun in and outta the bedroom.

    I don’t want to write much about this story because it is a short novella but the twist of the story is pretty epic sooooo do us a favor and buy the sexy book and read it because you will not be sorry!!

    I am enjoying this series. They are short hot reads.

    Max is on a business trip to land a big deal but when he meets Audrey in the hotel bar he decided they both needed a break from work. He invites Audrey to go to an amusement park for the day and play hooky from work. Let me tell you I never had a date at an amusement park like they did. Lets just say it wasn’t all PG.

    Things start off hot and steamy but can they stay this way when Max finds out what Audrey’s little secret is? I absolutely fell head over heals for Max and Audrey for that matter. I am so excited to see what Kate has up her sleeve for the next book.
