My name is Valerie Twombly, and I write smoldering vampires, fallen angels, dangerous demons and sinful shifters. I love animals, chocolate and a good book.

Where is your favorite place to write and what food must be present?

The beach is my favorite. However, since I don’t live near one then I guess my office. Thankfully, I don’t require snacks while writing but I do need music.

What are you favorite things about attending signings?

I love, love meeting new readers as well as seeing old friends. It’s also fun to discover new to me authors and adding to my TBR list.

What author would you love to meet (Who is your unicorn author)?

Sherrilyn Kenyon for sure. I’ve been blessed to have already met another favorite, Larissa Ione.

What author would you love to write with?

Larissa Ione

What is your favorite memory so far as an author?

It is difficult to pick only one. I have met some incredible people and been touched by fans devotion. This entire journey has been mind blowing and would not be possible without the readers.

ANNNNND this book is every reason why I love Kate.  She can write the hell outta anything and make it super naughty!!!  This book had me turning red, getting hot, and anticipating what would happen to Mr. Miller and Mrs. Anders *wiggle eyes*

Monica was so me at one point in my life minus having the kiddos.  Falling and divorcing your child hood sweetheart who leaves you broken and devastated over cheating with a new, shiny toy.  She is just living life and wondering where to start to get it back on track when Logan enters her life.  Her new, hot, and much younger neighbor invites her over for coffee annnd a little flirting.

The couple “explore” things while her kiddos are gone and we wonder what will happen when the “vacation” is over.

Friends this book has so many feels even with it being a novella.

I received this book for an honest review. 

SAY WHAT!!! Ok Friends this is a novella but oh man it is packed with so much more. 

There is hot, spicy and like the title states Quick and Dirty.  Let me tell you I am addicted to Monica Anders and Logan Miller. 

Monica is a divorced single mom. The kids are off to their Dad’s and his “new” woman for the week. Monica has the whole week to do whatever she wants only question is what. Her decision was an easy one after she meets her SMOKING HOT neighbor Logan. 

All it took was two knocks to begin this super-hot and naughty week long fling between Mrs. Anders and Mr. Miller.  Question is what will happen when the week is over and the kids are back? I’m telling you I was flying through these pages just to find out what was going to happen next between these two.  I cannot wait to see what the next book will bring but I do know it will be sizzling HOT.

Oh Master Anderson.  I have loved each and every glimpse into you and your life, so this book did not disappoint.  I loved seeing the relationship between Thane and Rytsar.

I have always wondered why Brad was off put by love…I mean we know about Amy but to learn of the first ladies to break his heart……through different circumstances makes me appreciate the love story we see for him in the main Brie series.

Brad is a true gentleman.  The ladies love Brad and Brad SURE loves the ladies.  When his mom and dad make him wonder about MORE and he proceeds to court Glee I was wondering what happens.  We also learn about Paige…a girl from his childhood and what she has done to his heart.

Any Master Anderson fan will love this story and how it shows so much more to our favorite prankster.  But I am really excited after reading about Rytsar and Samantha in the next book..their relationship is so crazy to me knowing where they are NOW in life.

It’s Master Anderson’s story. There has been something about him that I have enjoyed. Maybe it’s the way he handles that whip he loves to use.

The thing I am enjoying the most is seeing Brad, Thane, Durov and Samantha growing their friendship and bonds. The way there come together and support one another even if it meant putting things they love on hold.

My heart went out to Brad reading about his childhood past. I also went through the same thing when I was 13 and it hurt to read it. I did like some of the pranks Brad pulled. Brad the always the practical joker was able to continue the pranks even his family got in on the fun.  From the bullwhip to the fire play was so fun to see but to see the ability of a dominate to submit and struggle was a different experience.

I enjoyed seeing the love, laughter and comradery between not only the guys but between Brad and his family. The bond these friends have just amazed me.

*Wipes tears* I am soooo happy with this book and so sad at the same time.  I don’t think you understand the love I have with my Baby Daddy Blake AKA The Lip Ringed Hottie!!  It’s been serious love since the first time I read him.  I am not sure I am ready to let him go………

If you are a fan of this series, THIS. BOOK. IS. EVERYTHING!!!  It was the perfect mix of each couple.  We are seeing a happy Blake and Tess along with a content Jason and Corrine…I mean WHAT!!>??  YES CONTENT!!!

I still love to see and read the Firecracker and her teddy bear, Abby and Adam. They have grown so much but seeing them still growing and moving their relationship further was the best.  Abby is still in her head, but I love that Adam knows what to do to reach his girl.

Megan and Matt ….sigh….serious IF Blake didn’t own my heart, Matt would be my guy.  Megan and Matt are so sweet and in love but seeing her doubt everything about what she thought was important was making my heart hurt.  Matt *swoon* yeah just dreamy sigh about what a perfect man he is.

Jason and Corrine..who would have thought I would like him let alone be pulling for HIM to succeed in life given everything he did in the beginning???  But Jason Parker is Not That guy anymore.  The things that Corrine and he deal with are real life situations and I loved their story line so much.  Seeing her become more of the group and with the girls was good too.

Blake and Tess…….STOP!!  I can’t …..I won’t.  I mean…NOOO!!!  I refuse to think their story is over!!!  Blake and his Pretty Girl are in a good place.  They are so happy but seeing Tess worry and stress over everything they deal with and seeing Blake still stand behind her…sigh…..guys…yeah I just……I love them so much as characters………

If you enjoyed the Western Palm series like I do, you absolutely MUST read the final book because it totally answers all the questions about each couple.

So I will claim right up front, I know jack all about music…LOL  so I appreciated the Musical Terms Glossary at the end of the first story!!

This book is a collection of short stories from this author.  Each story is about a different character and a different musical theme I guess you could say.

The book is a great way to sample to author to see her writing style and flow in each story.  I have previously read one other story, but this was a different vibe then that one.  Some of the stories in the collection are a whole lot steamier then the others….HELLO BRADLEY in Headphones……. where others are less heat filled but still naughty.

It’s a great book if you have a few minutes and want to read a quick story.  Its also great if you are looking for light but solid writing in each story.  I have to say Mistaken Identity was my favorite.  The story of Justin and Gina was great.  I would love to know more about them.

Harley Easton is a Renaissance woman dabbling in everything life offers. She’s worked at a major theme park, found expert witnesses for legal cases, been a guest lecturer at a well known national museum, and worked with medical students. My name is Lisa Caviness. I’m originally from the Midwest but I lived in the Boston area for a number of years before moving to Indiana. I have a degree in Nursing and have worked in various positions in healthcare including as a psychiatric nurse and as a research project manager for pharmaceutical and medical device clinical trials. I have three children, a busy attorney husband, and an adorable black cat that comes to stay with me on occasion.

Where is your favorite place to write and what food must be present?

I don’t have a special place to write but when working at home I often move from my desk to various locations around the house. I also write in the car, usually when we’re going to visit my parents in Ohio (and my husband is driving of course!) or while waiting for one of kids at soccer practice, piano, or one of the other many activities they are involved in. I usually don’t eat and write but I will often have tea or coffee.

What are you favorite things about attending signings?

My favorite things about attending signings are talking to readers as enthusiastic as I am about books. I also enjoy meeting authors and collecting new books of my own to read.

What author would you love to meet (Who is your unicorn author)?

That’s a hard question because I have several favorites who I believe are great authors. If I had to settle on one I’d choose Nora Roberts because her books started my love of the romantic suspense genre.

What is your favorite memory so far as an author?

My favorite memory was the thrill and emotion of publishing my first book. The first time I saw my words in print was a special moment I thought I’d never have. It was a lot of hard work and a moment I’ll never forget.

Father’s Insistence-Dark Sovereignty #3 by Anna Edwards

I received the book for my honest review.  SLAM DUNK!!!

Theodore grew up in a sheltered life….protected from the dark and evilness of his father. He was at the ceremony when Nicholas chose Victoria to be his leaving Joanna at the mercy of the highest bidder.  Joanna was bought, hid, abused, and neglected by Theodore’s father.  He would continue for a year until the time was right and misled Theodore into thinking it was the Cavendish brothers who mistreated Joanna.  Theodore wed Joanna to protect her.  By Joanna’s omissions, she validated Theodore’s father’s story.
Theodore immediately felt a connection to Joanna and wanted to protect her.  Slowly, Joanna came out of her shell and disclosed the real truths of abuser.
This was the wrap up of the Dark Sovereignty series and was wonderfully written.  You could feel the connect between Theodore and Joanna and cheered her on to come forward.  I absolutely loved the ending which is actually the beginning of the new generation.

What do you have up your sleeve for your next project? hmmmmmmm? 🙂

Ok, this is the bit where I have to sell myself. Why is it so much easier to write about sexy blokes! Anyway.

I am a British author, from the depths of the rural countryside near London. In a previous life, I was an Accountant from the age of twenty-one. I still do that on occasions, but most of my life is now spent intermingling writing while looking after my husband, two children and two cats (probably in the inverse order to the one listed!). When I have some spare time I can also be found writing poetry, baking cakes (and eating them), or behind a camera snapping like a mad paparazzi.

In 2015 I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. It was also around this time that I became one of the founding members of a dramatic/erotic/dark roleplaying group on Twitter. It was wildly popular with both English and American followers. The writing helped me to overcome my depression by giving me an outlet to channel my thoughts into and not sit around worrying all day about things that would never happen. I took over responsibility for management of the group and responsibility for the development of our storylines. As well as playing at least ten different characters in the group ranging from an innocent virgin, bloodthirsty assassin and even a male lover. The success of the role-play spurred me on to writing novels.

I have a love of travelling and like to bring this to my stories to give them the air of reality. Surrendered Control, my first book released in November 2016, combines two of my favourite travel destinations. India is where I lived for eighteen months with my husband and two children. My young son was only six months old when we travelled there. It was a fabulous time for us all and they learnt so much about the differing cultures, as well as, much to my husband’s chagrin, spending lots of money in the silk shops. The Control series will feature lots of international travel.

I have always been an avid reader. Mainly murder mystery in the past but with Beautiful Bastard I discovered a whole new set of novels and I haven’t looked back since. I like my heroes hot and hunky with a dirty mouth. My heroines demure but with spunk. And my books in a kick arse series.

Zombies make my heart so happy.  When my blog got a request to share this books release, I was super excited and reached out to ask for a review copy.  OMG am I so happy I did.  This book hits all my zombie book expectations…..Zombie encounters, feisty heroine, alpha hero, and plot twists and turns galore!  Man was I loving it and unable to put it down!!!

Our heroine, Bailee, is alone after the world went to crap for a year exactly when she stumbles into the hands of the local military group (and uber alpha bossy Sawyer) during a failed scavenger mission.  The men know a secret about Bailee, but Sawyer is kinda interested in our feisty girl and wont follow orders just yet to turn her over to the main operations.

We see a lot of push and pull between Saw and Bailee which creates a lot of chemistry!!!  But what also is amazing to read, the ZOMBIE ATTACKS!! Yes folks there are a lot of zombies in the book and many different kinds of zombies….this totally made my heart happy.  We’ve got slow zombies. We’ve got fast zombies.  We’ve got tracker zombies!!?  Yikes!!

The books momentum and flow were great for reading.  I mean the group was always under attack or in conflict, so it was very fast paced, and action packed!!

My ONLY issue with the book….it seems to flip from 3rd POV to 1st POV through the story.  At first, I thought I was a weirdo and reading it wrong, but I found it a few times in the story.  I am not a fan of 3rd POV so it took me out of the reading element and then it would drop you back in to 1st POV.  Honestly this small issue will not stop me from reading the other books in the continuing series because after the way the story ended I NEED to know what happens to our team of misfits.
