Who doesn’t love a good Ménage???  I don’t know anyone who would pass up the chance to read a couple of hawt Doms falling in love with a sweet, bratty, sassy, and completely clueless submissive!!

I enjoyed reading this very short and quick read by Maggie.  The story line is simple and quick for a lovely afternoon read.

Michael and Gabriel are everything you want to have in Doms.  Christine would totally be me…clueless to the fact they want more from her then just a book keeper and friend.

The drama with the Christine’s ex and the threesome’s trouble because of him gives you a little but of a plot twist but the ending did make me giggle when “the surgeon” and “the pirate” came out to play.

All in all I liked the story and would read more of these characters if Maggie wrote more.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

I have been eagerly awaiting this release.  The last book left me wondering what Kennedy/Araneae would do.  When she is cornered what will she do?  Pick Sterling or will she betray him???

I Could. Not. Put. This. Book. Down.  Family be damned!!!  The twists and turns were epic and totally in Aleatha style.

Sterling is the PERFECT Anti-Hero.  We watch this arrogant prick change with each encounter he had with Araneae.  We see his dark becoming a little bit lighter due to her love, rose colored glasses, and constant support even when he locks her in the glass tower.

Araneae.  DAMN she is a tough cookie.  She is never weak but maybe a little naïve to how the world works even with her past history.  When we see her push back with each command Sterling gives her and we see him bend a smidge for her…sign….I mean he started to ASK not COMMAND. That is huge for him. LOL

I loved how each step of the book we uncover more and more of the reason of why Araneae’s birth farther did what he did.  We start to learn more and more about her birth mother and “adoptive” family too and the roles they played in her upbringing.  But what I loved was the “key” to everything was right where it all began.

This is another epic read for me from this author.  I can’t say enough about the chemistry between the characters.  Its so steamy and hawt.  I loved the family element from  Araneae’s past, Sterling’s past, and their present family of friends.  I would love to see Reid and Lorna plus Winnie and Patrick get some book time *Wiggle eyes* but I am STOKED to see Mason is getting a book.  I hope we will get a look Sterling and Araneae to see what they are up too in this series.

Tell us your name and then a bit about yourself.

C.J. Baty After a lifetime of loving to read, my son encouraged me to write my own stores. Three years and 11 Fan Fiction stories later, my first book was published. That was 6 years ago. I can hardly believe it. Since then, twelve more books followed. I have attended 8 book signing events. Met readers from all over the world and my world view has tripled in size. I would have missed so much had I not taken my son’s advice. I’ve been married to my husband for 43 years and we have two adult children.

Where is your favorite place to write and what food must be present?

My favorite place to write is anywhere someone is freshening my coffee on a regular basis. I carry a notebook with me whenever I know I’ll be sitting for a bit because I have thoughts or scenes play out in my head at any time. If I’m writing at home in my office space, then there has to be something salty and Dt. Dew in my mug.

What are you favorite things about attending signings?

People! I am such an introvert but signings bring out the best in me. These are my people, my tribe; even if they don’t read Gay romance/mysteries, they read and that gives us a connection. Also, getting a chance to meet up with authors, I have chatted with on line and even the ones that I fangirl over myself. It’s all about the people contact.

What author would you love to meet (Who is your unicorn author)?

I have had the enormous pleasure of meeting two of the authors that I never thought would be possible. Karen Marie Moning (she writes the Fever Series) has long been a favorite and then there’s Josh Lanyon! I met her last October at GRL and oh my gosh, I was on cloud nine for days. Both women have made a huge impact on my reading and writing. If I had to pick someone that I am sure I would never meet, it would Dan Brown. The first time I read the Da Vinci Code, I read for 24 hours straight. Couldn’t stop until I finished it.

What author would you love to write with?

What an unusual question? I have no idea is my answer. I’ve never thought about co-writing with someone. Not because I’m not open to the idea, but because I don’t have any idea how it works. And,

What is your favorite memory so far as an author?

The first time a reader recognized me as C.J. It was thrilling.

Holy Hells Bells!!

Jaron Mercer is so much like his father, Greyson, in so many ways!!

Piper!! Holy shit did I fall in love with her like I did her parents, Max and Dale!!

If this story is any indication of how the rest of the kid’s books will be, we are going to be in for a hell of a good read!!

Jaron and Piper’s story is only the beginning and you get to meet them in this anthology. They have some serious issues of loving each other for a long time but never really acting on the feelings until Paris. The two of them have finally lit that fuse and now they can’t stop what is meant to be.
This is a short and quick story, but it leaves me LONGING for the rest because trust me friends, this book is JUST the beginning of their long love story!!!

When Miranda asked if I would be interested in this book, I was a little bit hesitant because YA isn’t really my thing but TBH, I dug it.  But I also didn’t think it had a YA feel about it.  LOL!!  There wasn’t any high school drama and all that jazz.  This was about a princess….scratch that….and independent, free thinking, strong willed princess who didn’t need ANY man to rule with her.  Nope *pops the P*

However, she must have a King just like a King would have to have a Queen in order to rule the land.  Well our girl Tatianna is none to thrilled and even more angry when she finds out her dad is forcing her to court some Fae he finds suitable for her.  UHM Nope our girl is not happy until……Kallan strolls into the party uninvited.  Then she is kinda flipping her hair and giving him the “eye”.

The couple are drawn together, and the story begins to fly at this point.  We learn there is someone who is causing trouble for Tatianna in her family’s kingdom plus Kallan’s kingdom has suffered as well.  The couple need to work together to figure out what to do and who they can trust to solve the trouble.

The story was a really quick read.  I sat down and devoured it.  I love how strong-willed Tatianna was and at the same time how Kallan seemed impressed with the strength she has.  Plus he was impressed with how she was willing to listen to what he told her vs what she know about The Dark Court.

Mother to two boys, 3 four legged babies, and wife to a loving husband who doesn’t mind the extra voices in her head. Miranda grew up on a dairy farm in Illinois, but calls Portland, TN home now. She is an avid reader, coffee addict, and loves her day job working at the local public library. Though her true passion is in creating her own worlds, characters, and stories for her readers.

Mo and Connor are a great couple…..errr…..a great boss/assistant couple.  They have a great vibe and a wonderful ability to bounce off each other.  When Connor hangs with is buddy Brock and follows his “Fake Fiancée” idea, he soon finds out not only are they compatible in the boardroom but the bedroom too!!

Connor is the nerd turned stud in his high school class.  He doesn’t want to deal with the gold diggers, so he asks his friend Morgan to save him from the claws and a possible future ex-wife.  Morgan is angry and hurt over being dumped by her ex, so she agrees because she she is getting paid and new shoes outta the deal…can’t hurt right???

As the weekend goes forward, Connor and Mo start to feel the sizzle of chemistry when they both see each other as more then just a boss/assistant.  They both start to wonder…..what if.  When Connors dream girl from high school makes her intentions knows, Morgan has to keep her lips zipped because this is Connors dream girl….or is it???  Connor has always lusted over Raquel and when she throws herself at him, he is conflicted because she isn’t Morgan!!!

I loved the banter between Morgan and Connor.  Its obvious they enjoy each other’s company and personalities.  I liked seeing this friendship cross that line to MORE and then struggle with wondering if they made a mistake.

Side Note – I liked how the epilogue was written.  The style was GREAT for this couple and story!!

“Nobody puts Baby in a corner.” While you’re more likely to see Jade headbanging instead of Dirty Dancing, she—like Baby—won’t be put in a corner…or a box. So even though you can’t really stick her books in one genre, you could say she mostly writes steamy Contemporary Romance—and, while you’re at it, you’ll notice in her stories that Jade freaking loves Colorado, hard music, coffee, bad words, and CHOCOLATE!!! And so do her characters.

Oh, and there’s always a glimmer of hope…because if life doesn’t have that, what’s the damn point?

Tell us your name and then a bit about yourself.

Hiya, I’m Brandy Slaven. I live in Tennessee and am obsessively in love with RH, 80’s everything, zombies, and post apocalyptic anything.

Where is your favorite place to write and what food must be present?

I can write literally ANYWHERE. I even wrote once laid back in a dentist chair. No lie! I guess it really depends on the day. In an ideal situation, I’d love to be in a coffee shop/bookstore with a vanilla latte at hand.

What are you favorite things about attending signings?

This is my first one. So far my favorite thing has been the awesome new people that I’ve met.

What author would you love to meet (Who is your unicorn author)?

Hmmm, that’s a hard one because I have so many! Besides some of my favorite RH authors that I’ll be meeting soon, I guess I’d have to go with Sherrilyn Kenyon or Charlaine Harris. I seriously love their books!

What author would you love to write with?

Well, I’ve already got some upcoming co-authored projects. They are definitely going to be hard to beat.

What is your favorite memory so far as an author?

I don’t know if I have a favorite per say. One of my favorites, I’d have to tell you a little back story. My very first book, Of Death And Darkness, started as project to help me during a time when I was struggling. I never expected to get it published. I just wrote because it was a serious stress reliever. It took me 5 long years to finish it. I only got serious within that last year because my dad passed away the year before. He was my biggest supporter and I always promised that I’d try to do something with it. When he passed, I made it a point to finish it not just for him but for me too. Then I found out about self publishing through Amazon. I was so nervous pushing that publish button, especially considering I knew NO ONE in the book world yet. When the reviews started coming in for it and I found out that people actually liked it…it’s an indescribable feeling. I know now that my writing sounds so much better, so they are being rewritten as we speak. But, just to know that there are people out there that loved it was enough to keep me writing past that point. I’ll always be grateful for the people who have been there since day one and the ones who have come along since.

“WHAT did you say!!!???  Heck Yes!!!” when Brandy asked if I wanted to read this was my reply!!!  I mean RH was awesome but then she threw in some MMF, MM and MFM…..This was like a dream read for any woman!!

Imma is a girl going through some serious stuff.  She needs her friends, but they seem to have forgotten the whole “Girl Code” and for different reasons they cancel on a girl trip which is totally not cool.  Anyway, Imma packs up and heads to the mountains hoping it will recharge her broken soul to find out it has been double rented…rented to her and her friends AND to 5 hotties who are giving her the hungry eye once overs ALL THE TIME!

Imma and the guys (Evan, Ollie, Wes, Thatcher and Murphy) convince Imma to just hang with them for the time.  Well friends that is when everything gets interesting.  Let’s just say Imma has some bed hopping fun and a LOT of sex happens between her and the mens!!  *wink wink*  I won’t ruin it because holy hot tamale do I need to go to church and confess the lust in my heart with reading this book……but yeah its good reading!!

The end of the story we have some conflict and Imma needs to be reminded of who she belongs with and how families care for each other.  If you love Brandy like I do, then this novella will be a great little ditty to tide you over until her next book hits our ereaders.
