I received this book from the author for an honest review.

I have always wanted to read a book by this author because my bestie loves her stuff but seeing her list of long series , I just cant find the time.  When I saw she started a new series about movie stars I was interested.  When I saw book #2 was an MM, I was SOLD!  Check Please!!  Yes, can I have an extra 4 chapters of MM Lovin’!

The story is about Ryan, the popular movie star who every woman wants but can’t seem to get.  Welp ladies, it seems we don’t have the “equipment” Ryan enjoys in a bed mate *Wink*.  Ryan is using his bestie Raven has his cover to keep the paparazzi and gold diggers at bay.  Seems everyone is ok if the co-stars are dating….well everyone except for Raven’s stalker!!  Ryan sees a hot guy at a club one night and is pretty sad when he sees the hottie is with the ladies. *Snaps fingers* If only he swung Ryan’s way right……WELLLLLL…..

Shannon is an ex-Navy Seal who now trains movie stars on guns, stunts, ect before movies begin filming.  He is out before his new bunch of movie stars show up and he sees Ryan.  But he knows he is dating Raven soooo why is the hottie’s eyes on him 24/7 tonight?  Could Ryan be interested???

I enjoyed the slow set up and Ryan and Shannon.  Both men are used to hiding their sexuality from the world.  They both learn very quickly that they are very similar in the way they protect the ones they love.  They are both struggling to over-come past issues and if what they feel is IT!!  The L word!!

We see them slowly letting their loves ones in on their secret but still worried about what the world will say when they find out America’s favorite movie star is gay.  We also see Shannon dealing with his dad and sister’s inability to believe he is in love with a man and not a woman.

The side characters were great.  I loved Luke and Raven’s continued support of Ryan and Shannon’s relationship.  Manny I pretty much wanted to throat punch the entire damn story.  DUDE Be like Elsa and “Let it go!”

I’ve always loved books, especially about monsters and magic, so I started writing. I’m working on a prequel and the next few books in the Others of Edenton series, and I have a head full of stories to share.

I’m a stay at home mother with a wonderful husband who lets me write and write to my hearts content.

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

Ryan King is a famous movie star who leads a double life. He has kept his secret close because not only could it change his career but he could lose his closest friend. Even though he could have any woman he wanted he does not have eyes for them. He is able to keep his secret under wraps by being seen with Raven every now and again. One night at the club Ryan sees someone that sparks his interest but is let down when he sees them with a woman.

Shannon was a Navy Seal who is hired to train Ryan, Raven, Luke and other members of the cast for the movie they are about to film.  After seeing Ryan at a club one night he was interested but there was no way Shannon was good enough for Ryan or that Ryan would even be interested since he was with Raven.

When walls are dropped and secrets are let out Ryan and Shannon sure make a great couple. They have great chemistry and wow is it explosive.  Can they survive hiding their relationship especially a long distant relationship with so many family issues getting in the way? Between Ryan’s brother Manny, Max his old fling, Shannon’s father and his sister man do these two have their work cut out for them.

To see these two very strong willed men knowing what they want and go after it and then also seeing the vulnerable side they showed one another made my heart happy.  I absolutely love Ryan, Shannon, Raven, Luke, and Leona but a few of the other side characters need a swift kick in the back side.  After all was said and done some things worked out for some of them and others well I guess karma comes around.

A few of my favorites:

I get it. There are times I sit there and think about all the shit I could have done differently, but it doesn’t do a damned bit of good. You just got to deal with it, make your choices, stick to them, and move on.

“It’s funny. I thought I was done with secrets, but with you, I don’t care. I get it. Any other case would probably piss me off, but I don’t want to hurt your career. I just want you.”

I want to feel like a part of our world. I’m just not sure I belong.” Ryan pulled him close. “You belong with me, which means with my friends. I don’t care what anyone things.”

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

HOLY MOLY this book knocked my socks off!!!  Paranormal meets the Greek Gods??  Uhm YES PLEASE!!! When Tricia told me about this book, I was super excited.  When I finally got the book, I was ecstatic.  I can’t say enough how much I loved reading this book.  But remembering all the Gods from college, I was like “OMG Yes I remember them.”

Juliet is a typical vampire looking to score some blood.  Well our little vampire is a little more than usual because she actually cares about who she drains dry.  She strolls into the underground MMA fight looking for meal, when she sees the most beautiful and sexy man EVAH!!  She is all “Game on” with this one.  She knows he might be a bit more of a challenge, but she is ready for it.  She is stunned when all of a sudden, the man of hour is right there at the bar hitting on her …along with others things he does with her at the bar *snickers*

Ares, the God of War, is mesmerized by the vampire at the club.  He knows she will be able to “handle his appetites” so he dives into a night of fun with the little minx.  He is loving spending time with her because she challenges him at every turn and he loves it.  He can’t get enough of her telling HIM, the God of War, No!!  I love the banter the two have because they cracked me up a lot.

When Ares and Juliet discover there are serious emotions at play, they both freak.  The last person Ares loves was Aphrodite and we all know how wonderful their relationship turned out….not good if you weren’t aware.  The last person who Juliet loved broke her heart and turned her into the creature she is now.  Love and Trust is not something these two people can willingly accept from others.

His family hates her and wants her dead.  His ex has become a bit too clingy and needy…ya know I don’t want you but I don’t want anyone else to have you type of chick *eye roll*….her maker is all about claiming what is his again after hundreds of years, PLUS the vampire hunter is closing in on Juliet.  There is so much action and so many plot twists you never see what will happen next!!  I seriously hope we get another book really soon and I am BEGGING for it to be Aletha because I just loved her so hard but Pan would be pretty funny to see which nymph captures his heart.

I purchased this book.

GAH!!  I was so stoked for this book!!  Brenna, the perfect but not really perfect sister of Rory and Connor, and hottie bartender Stone who was told Hands off on the day he met her.

Brenna was a complex character.  We learn a lot her through the other 2 books but this book we finally LEARN all her secrets.  I liked Brenna well enough in the series, but her depth of character was something I didn’t expect.  To see all she has lived through and kept inside herself was stunning.  We know she is feisty but to see the strength in her character was pretty awesome too.

Greyson Stone…I-che-mama…..this man is everything you want wrapped up in a hot bow of tattoos!!!  He is the perfect person to crack Brenna and then help build her back up.  He is the truly the best man her and helping her understand herself but also understanding her need of TIME!!

This book was probably my favorite in the series but it is really close with Connor and Mia!!  Those two are a riot to read.

I purchased this book.

I am such a fan of book 1 I had to do a reread of it before starting Book 2.  Guess what?  I was still utterly in love with Leo and Sloane as I was the first time around.  Guess what?  I totally devoured this book because I needed to know what was going to happen to them.  Were the secrets going to be something they could work through or would more secrets and betrayals end my favorite hot mess couple??

Guys!!  Leo…omg tall, dark and super mysterious and yet so broken as a man he can’t even function now that Sloane knows EVERYTHING! He needs his love/his submissive to be complete and yet he is completely powerless to fix it.

Sloane…..she is a hot mess of confusion.  She has fallen for the wrong guy twice and been broken up over this.  So now she questions if her submission is the issue.  Maybe she should be a Domme??  Maybe if SHE was in control things would be better……???

The beginning of the book SEEING these characters so flipping lost and miserable made my heart ache for them.  They are both a hot mess because relationships are not something the do or even do well when in them.

When Leo makes the ultimate move to help get his girl back….swoon…my heart.  Seeing him be so vulnerable for Sloane was amazing.  Seeing her struggle with what she wanted even though she KNOWS she wants submission……The scene was so amazing.  Seeing the couple reconnect on a new level, an equal level, and level with total honestly was amazing.

Now folks, you know Kate isn’t gonna just let the Devil AKA Warren leave us alone right? ? Well that man comes back around and causes so much havoc and chaos for the family plus our couple, I seriously was cheering Leo on to punch him out!!

I loved the complexity of the relationship that Leo and Sloane have but I love the new levels of trust and honesty they develop in this book.  The epilogue was like the best part of this story friends…OMG I was loving it and how she blended it so flawlessly and seamlessly into the story.  I will so miss these characters but hey, if she decided to write a book about Ethan, I would be tots all about reading it!  JUST SAYING!!  HE was some kinda yummy.  He wasn’t Mr. Right but he was MR. Right Now….LOL

I received this book from the author for an honest review.
Man!! This book was not what I expected!! I expected to see the Greyson we all knew from the King’s Harlots….alll brooding and whining over not getting the girl but I am glad to be wrong.
Yeah Greyson is a Douche but something about him I loved in the series. I felt bad for his unrequited love for Brogan, but she is head over heels in love with Coby. I can’t see her without him and him without her. When JM said she was writing Greyson’s book I was conflicted because I wasn’t sure he is worthy of an HEA…LOL Sorry Greyson and lets not paddle my ass for saying that ok…great!!
Greyson…he is a broken man who is just going through the motions. Yeah he is happy with his MC Brothers and his cat but he is still a bit hurt over losing the girl. When Eve literally falls into his life, he is instantly attracted to her but also consumed by finding out who she is especially when a total dick starts to show his face around the club.
Eve is lost but sees the hottie with the blue eyes as a savior. She has no memory but keeps having terrible nightmares about bad things. When she starts worming her sassy mouth and fiery heart into Greyson’s world, she turns him upside down for all the right reasons.
Grey and Eve has some of he best banter I have seen JM write. They care and it scared them both half to death. Grey is so afraid to open up especially if he could lose eve to her past. Eve is scared to open up because she has no idea who she really is.
The who and the why’s of Eve’s life and how she happened to stumble into Greyson’s life come crashing down on the two. They have a lot to conquer to be together, but they first must face their fears and accept that loving someone is a good thing.
