I received this book from the author for an honest review.

Holy crap.  Steve grew up and totally manned up.  I mean I will admit I was excited but a little worried because we never see Steve as an alpha guy.  The joker? Totally! But the alpha?  So I was super excited to SEE the story that Teresa was writing for us diehard fans.  Man, Blown away.  Steve totally knocked my socks off.

So Steve in typical form is given grief by the other warriors when gunshots are going off AT THE COMPOUND!!  Now what fool would even think about shooting up the Warriors Compound?  A stupid one for sure!!  Steve is sent in the save a woman who was trapped in a car when he finds out she is in labor.  The two have an instant chemistry and Steve is super attached right away to helping this girl and her child.

Mira has some secrets and is hoping she can hide safely in the Warrior compound until the arrival of her baby.  When she meets Steve, she can feel the connection but can’t accept it because of her family drama.

The drama between the two is awesome.  The more Steve and Mira fall for each other the more you see Steve stand up in a Warrior Way.  I mean even the other Warriors were stunned stupid at this new Alpha Steve.

Their love story is written perfect.  Steve is Steve and he says stupid things but Mira loves him for it.  She gives him the love and care he has never had other than the respect and care he has found in the Warrior compound.

The side story of new trainees doesn’t go over very well and we actually have some internal fighting between Warrior brothers over the new recruits….yikes!!!

Favorite scene : any with Steve sticking his foot in his mouth with Slade….it happens a lot and you will love them.

After reading Travis and Angel’s story I was so excited to start Colton’s.  I said SCREW my reading schedule and dived right in.  I gotta admit seeing him get a prescription of Viagra at the end of the last book had me in a fit of giggles so that was PART of why I wanted to read.

Colton has seen his fair share of ladies and dated all the worse ones.  After his latest breakup, he seems to find that he can’t “rise to the occasion”.  He is pretty upset as any 22-year-old man would be.  After celebrating his birthday with his best friends, he sees a woman who makes things “work” again.

Bree is dancing at the club after a long shift when she enjoys some dancing with a random stranger who isn’t so much a strange as she thought.  This stranger is her long lost best childhood friend who left her broken hearted when he moved away.

I loved the story of the two.  I loved how they were catching up but also falling head over heels in love.  Ava was a scene stealer for sure.  She knew what everyone needed at the right time.  She made my heart a gushy mess.

The couple have a few obstacles because of Bree’s insecurities with herself.  Colton will not let his love go and being the overly bossy man he is, he does everything he can to show his best friend and soul mate she is what he needs and wants.

I loved seeing the gushy side of Colton especially after his little jabs to Travis in the first book but knowing he too was coveting what his best friend had found in Angel.

Jamie Schlosser grew up on a farm in Illinois surrounded by cornfields. Although she no longer lives in the country, her dream is to return to rural living someday. I received this book from the author for an honest review.

I am at a loss for words…this book.  It is soooo very different from anything I have read by her.  Its dark, gritty and gets in your head as to the how’s and why’s of people.   It kinda freaked me out because I wondered if this was all real or some kinda crazy head game.

Tack and Juliette are both sentenced to the island to repent for their crimes.  They both are guilty of crimes that are inter connected but neither knows the other will be there.  They both are sentenced to one year in what they presume is solidary confinement.  When they stumble on the other, it’s a  hot mess because we, the reader, don’t really know the story.  As the book unfolds and our characters let us in…holy shit is all I could say.

Tack has always been the golden boy who gets caught being not so good.  Juliette is the little mouse in the middle of the games Tack is playing with his friends but her retaliation is what gets her in trouble.  This book is crazy good.  I couldn’t put it down because I was seriously like “Wait how can you consider this guy after he did this stuff.” And then I was like “wait after you did this stuff you are going to pick her wild flowers and offer her steak!”  GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This book gets in your head because the dark content makes you not want to see these two together but then again they are both in need of love, care and compassion that how can you not what them to be together…….Gosh so mind boggling!!

I am eager to read book 2 in October because the ending leaves you going WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Highland Romances.  I love Historical Romances so to take this book was an easy pick for me!!

This book is told in 2 parts.  Part one was a nice, slow ,and steady pace of a book where our couple are getting to know each other.

This book is about Alexander who has no clue about his heritage because his mother sent him away to live with the monks to protect him.  He is forced to go into the “world” by his mentor before he takes his vows.  Father Gregory has his go to help another Highlands family.  The eldest son needs a Tudor.    Once Alexander arrives his heart is conflicted between what he was raised to belied and his wants and desires of Lady Sibylla.  The couple have a few scenes where she is making him face what he wants and what he feels he needs.    While we have all of this happening, Alexander is discovering is true heritage.  Lemme tell ya it’s a great one!!

Part two if the book is where a lot of things begin to happen and to be honest I started to get a little bit confused because soooo many names are being thrown at you.  We also don’t really see our main couple together much and when we do it seemed rushed toward the end.  I felt like the end of the book should have said to be continued?????  I am hoping for more from this couple because I totally enjoyed it.  Plus, I didn’t feel that Alexander’s story is finished?????

Even though the book was fast paced and “busy” I did enjoy it and I am looking forward to knowing what happened to Sibylla’s family.  I also would love to know if the visions of Sibylla and Alexanders future will hold true!!

I grabbed this book off Amazon when it was on sale or free…yikes I can’t remember to be honest BUT I grabbed it because I was going to be meeting the author at a charity Book signing.

This blurb of the book totally intrigues me.  Because yes I too imagine a trucker to be an old man with a beer belly and log ZZ Top beard….lol…

So our book is about Travis who is one of the nicest guys you can find who just hasn’t met “the one” and is all about doing his job.  He has dated but they just seem to be one disaster after another.

Angel has lost everyone in her family but holds out hope that her mom and her can reconcile when she is released from prison.  Angel’s hope and dream is what caused her and Travis to meet on a road way.  She was hitching a ride when the good guy in him goes to protect this young woman on the road.

The couple are attracted to each other but they both feel the other isn’t feeling it in return.  As they get to know each other since Angel will be staying with Travis and his roomie Colton, they form a strong relationship.  Granted a jealous wanna be girlfriend causes issues but the two fight to make something out of this bond.

Angel finds her heart is more in love with Travis and the town but needs to go and see if her and her mom can be a family.  Travis is torn because he loves Angel but understands her needs and desires.

I loved the last chapter and was excited to read the sneak peek into Colt’s book.  That guy is in need of some real genuine love……the kind that Travis and Angel have.
