Jesus this book!  I am pretty sure I need to go to church and maybe read up on some passages.  Maybe go and take communion????  I mean Holy Hell!!

Lawd was it crazy!  Lawd was it hot! Lawd am I scared of these ladies’ imaginations!!  LAWD did we learn some important things.  But can we talk about the bad people for a second??  DUDE so creepy. Like you ladies are making me nervous to meet in real life!!

It seems we find out who the crazy captor is in the story.  We see the back story on Noah and Ivy’s “friendships”.  We also see the crazy, jealous person who is the one causing all the pain for our couple.

We being to see Ivy putting it all together.  She is also finally admitting she is in fact in love with Noah which takes him by surprise because well she was a little late to the game so it seems.  Everyone knew they wore in love except Ivy had trouble believing it since Noah wore his dead fiancée’s necklace for so long….until just recently that it!!

This book is a step in the “we are gonna get free and kill some people”.  Ivy and Noah are starting to study their surroundings to figure out how to save themselves and kill whoever is behind this!  Vengeance will be theirs!!

Sweet Baby Jesus this book!!  But I am totally high 5ing myself because I totally knew who was involved in Lucy’s kidnapping…GO me!!  But then I was thrown for a loop with the backstory to the who and the why of Lucy’s kidnapping… heart strings time.

The guys are outta their minds trying to find their girl and Claudia is going bat shit crazy because she needs her bitchy bestie to be back and unharmed.

I can’t really discuss the specifics of this book or you will lose some major twists and turns but trust me, you are going to love it!!

Lucy has some great nervous one liners that make ya laugh because our girl is hella funny but also a scene in the shower that was uber steamy…see that pun??  I was trying to be funny like Luce..oh well.  Just but the serial but be sure to read it in order peps!!

What?  A reality tv show book?  A midwestern girl who has become someone falls in love with the hottie of all time?  Why yes please I will read that in one sitting!!

I am a total fan of Angie’s YA Series so I look forward to all her books when she releases.  This book was no different.  It might not be YA but it had a “sweet” feel to it all the same.

Chelsea and Tom have a great chemistry and you want everything for the two for the two of them.  We know Chelsea has some issues about things and you understand why she feels the way she does but we want her to have that happiness and be happy.

Tom is the stuff dreams are made of.  He knows Chelsea’s issues and is the never give up guy.  He is patient and kind and willing to do anything to get the girl.

The book was a great read.  There were sometimes I wanted to throat punch people but isn’t that what makes a book great??  LOL  When you get the feels you have done a good job writing!!

I always love the books I get from Christina.  I love the world she builds so effortlessly. In this book, I loved the new twist she gives to our Lady Mallory.  It’s something new she added to one of her books.  She keeps true to her historical roots but adds a bit of fun to it along with mystery.

Silas has had quite a life.  His mother runs away with him and his siblings.  When he returns his father is dead and the family estate in ruins.  He should follow the plan of an estate squire to keep his family name out of the gossip of the Ton.  Silas is not thrilled but he will do what he must to keep his family safe.

Lady Mallory is traveling to meet her betrothed with her aunt in tow.  She was promised that if she doesn’t find the Lord to her liking she is free to walk away and be a spinster like her aunt forever.    However, sparks do seem to fly pin their initial meeting!!!

When Lady Mallory and Silas meet we see some chemistry but both are not sure of the other.  Silas worries what Mallory will say when she learned of his family.  Mallory decided to follow and then check in on Silas when she discovers he is not the most truthful of people.  Mallory’s extra gift plays a part in the story making us wonder what is going to happen.

I loved the story and look forward to more in the series.   The book was a great afternoon read on a super-hot day.  It gave me reason to just sit on my butt and enjoy the air conditioning!!  LOL

I love writing romance because it’s about emotions and relationships. Human nature hasn’t changed a bit since Eve coveted the fruit in the Garden of Eden. Settings change. Plots change. Names change. Times change. But love is love and men and women have been falling in and out of it forever. Romance is about emotions: love, hate, anger, laughter… all of it. I got serious about writing when my third child was born and had her days and nights mixed up. I had to stay up all night anyway and it was very quiet so I invested in a spiral back notebook and sharpened a few pencils. The story that emerged has never sold but it’s brought in enough rejection slips to put the Redwood Forest on the endangered list. In 1997 Kensington bought two books for their Precious Gems line. Two years and six books later the line died with only four of those books seeing publication. But by then Avalon had bought a book and another, and another. Ten years later the list has grown to thirty nine. Last year Sourcebooks bought the Lucky Series which is in the bookstores now. They’ve also bought The Honky Tonk Series which will debut with I LOVE THIS BAR in June and will be followed by HELL, YEAH, MY GIVE A DAMN’S BUSTED, and HONKY TONK CHRISTMAS.

Folks ask me where I get my ideas. Three kids, fifteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren. Note: I was a very young grandmother! Life is a zoo around here when they all come home. In one Sunday afternoon there’s enough ideas to keep me writing for years and years. Seriously, ideas pop up at the craziest times. When one sinks its roots into my mind, I have no choice but to write the story. And while I’m writing the characters peek over my shoulder and make sure I’m telling it right and not exaggerating too much. Pesky little devils, they are!
