Holy crap!!  That was a whole lotta naughty reading!!  Ryan you certainly know how to put A LOT into a short novella.

Essentially this story is about Jess and Sanders.  Sanders is Jess’s brothers best friend.  She has loved him for affair her entire life.  One night she gets the courage to approach him to see if he SEES her as Jess and not the little sister.

Sanders is shocked when Jess comes on this him at the bar.  This is his dream come true!!  He has loved her for a while now and even her brother knew.  What happens in the novel is a lot of naughty, sexy times so don’t say you weren’t warned!!

I’m a mom and a wife who works full time. I have a huge obsession with collecting paperbacks and reading. Becoming an author, wasn’t exactly what I set out to do, it just happened. I needed something to help me get rid of the feeling of being ‘just a mom’ or ‘just a wife’ that was consuming me and writing became that outlet. I received this book from the author for an honest review.

I am loving this new to me author and her fun series.  Since I am a HUGE Shifter fan and I jumped at the chance to read her books.

This book is about Theo’s sister, Jazmine, who is in total and complete love with his best friend Luke.  Luke is wolf in a different pack.  The two men have no issues on inter species mingling but Power Shift certainly does!!

One night Luke gives the Shifter Dating app a try for his buddy Max.  He isn’t really looking for a hook up because the woman who owes his heart is on the “off limits” list.  When Jas shows up at the bar and flirts with him, his wolf goes crazy!!  When the shifter app matches them, they both go in to freak out mode.  Can they BE true mates for each other annnnd will Theo allow it?

So while the two are dealing with possibly being together they are attacked by that group of shifters who are not fans of intermingling.  Luke and Jas are then forced to defend their relationship against the shifters and Theo!!

I liked the book and can’t wait for more in the series!

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

SO I took this book totally thinking it was a historical romance but much to my shock it’s not..LOL.  But that is totally ok because I loved the sci-fi edge of the novel when I realized it was contemporary.

The story begins with Regina ending her mistake of a marriage to Trenton.  She knew they shouldn’t have ever gotten married and her heart with his brother BUT she didn’t thin Bradford was the settle down kind of guy.

The “rake” in the title is Bradford who has a thing for his sassy and feisty sister-in-law Regina…yes folks his sister-in-law.  He is none too thrilled when she pops into his life but is keeping secrets.

Regina and Bradford have great banter and they are both dancing around the emotions they have for the other.  They both want the other but as scared to admit it out loud for fear of being rejected.

The sci-fi of the story is a woman who needs Regina to help her get a message across to someone.  That all plays into the story of Trenton and his journey, Regina and Bradford’s explosive relationship and the plot twist of the story.

The story is a quick read for someone looking for a different read for a rainy day like I am having today……ENJOY

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

AHHHH  This book!!!  I Loved Loved Loved it.  Matt was so alpha but knew when he and to tuck that guy away before his mom or love would kick his butt!!  Bren was riot to read about.  Her undercover work was great and showed her true nature to care for someone and want the best for them even if they had no clue what was going on.

So Matt and Bren has some chemistry but Matt kept hiding because of the news his doctor gave him.  Instead of going after what he wants, he hides.  When a brief and chance encounter with Bren at the family’s favorite restaurant forces Matt, Bren and Momma to have lunch together…well match maker momma makes sure that the two see what they could have.

I enjoyed the stubborn of both characters but how when they loved, how they loved passionately.  I abso love the way these authors make family a big very important theme in their novels.  The family members may be side characters but they are definitely there for a reason.

I could so read another book for Matt and Bren because the news that was delivered at the end of the book would be some fun reading!!!

EEP Duke Kissinger gets hit butt kicked by love!!  We met him in the last book by Amanda Mariel.  He was a total rake and quite happy with his ways……silly silly man!!  In this book, we see a 12 year old boy and a 9 year old girl falling into young puppy like love but due to family and situations are pulled apart.

Lady Juliette has not had a great life since her best friend left her for school.  The loss of her mother and new step-mother have made life unhappy.  When her scheming step-mother gets her father to agree to marry the awful Lord Payne, she runs to the only person she can trust.

The banter between the two was hilarious…I loved reading about Juliette’s desires to see the sexy Gladiators in Rome.  Gray was not ok with that at all!!  LOL  As hard as Gray tried to push away and not acknowledge his love and desire for Juliette the harder she pushed him.  When the couple sneak away they get to catch up on their lives and grow even more in love with each other.

Gray will do anything to protect his friend and love.  The last 2 chapters were intense….lots of “will they be found” and “oh snap this is not good”.  I gotta say I loved the series and reading the final epilogue made my heart super happy.

Oh Tono!!  *Sigh* I always wanted to know how the calm Dom was and now we got to get into his head.  I think I grew even more in love with him after this book. Don’t get me wrong, I love Sir and am so happy for Brie’s choice but Tono…..sigh…..yeah Tono.

I was so excited to see Tono taking care of young Brie during her tough time.  He is the quiet strength she can rely on when Sir is not there to be her rock.  He does an amazing job re-correcting her course and giving her the positive spin on the situation to help her though everything.  I love Master Anderson’s care but Tono’s quiet soul was the balm she was needing especially after what Lilly tried to do…That woman is in BIG trouble now that Rytsar is in town but that is another part of the review!

Tono and Autumn!  Come on who didn’t see that or want that to happen to those two amazing souls???  I loved seeing him put himself out there and for her to break down those walls she has built.  When she finally spills the beans about why she is so closed off…sigh…yeah he made me melt.  I totally understood the strain they both had but was glad to see everything worked out for them in the end.  They are two people who are the perfect complement to the other much like Thane and Brie.

OK BOY!!  Rytsar is in town and he is not happy he wasn’t there to help Brie from the beginning.  The Russian is gruff but when Brie bats her eyes he melts in to a pile of gooey goodness!!  Lea…..oh our girl is so broken hearted.  I feel for her and hope we get a resolution to her heart ache soon.  The Wolf…again my heart….I want so much for him and Mary……I cant wait for the next book.   There are so many things that need to happen with so many people that it makes me sit on the edge of my hair waiting for more.

*Sigh* Master Anderson *Sigh* We finally get to see his POV  *sigh* This book………

When I saw that Red was changing up POv from Brie nd Thane I was a little nervous because they have been our characters all long in the series.  But then when I opened the book and began to read….happy times ahead.

We all met and loved Master Anderson from the very first time we met him.  How can you NOT love a sexy jokester?  But in our hearts we are all dying for him to find a love like Brie and Sir…..DYING I tell ya.  We know Amy destroyed him but we need our handsome Dom to move on with more than just a pet cat J

When we start reading this book we are seeing it from the wedding reception.  We are seeing Brad compare these women to Amy plus moving on with his life and new transition.  He is excited but nervous about the double responsibility he now has for the Training centers.  I loved seeing the “First Night” with the training subs.  It made me giggle and think back to the days of Brie, Mary and Lea.

When Master Anderson steps up and cares for our young Brie during her time with Sir, it made my heart love him even more!!  Seeing him want the best for his best friend and the love of his life made me just want to cuddle him even more!

The book moved Brie and Thane’s story forward but we didn’t get a lot of them.  This book was focusing on Brad and his new life and lady…..I was so excited at the final few chapters.  Now I am even more excite to read Tono’s book.  That Dom has my heart is a jumble of nerves as well……..

Ok so I was a nut and read this series way outta order so even though this is book 2 I read it 3^rd.  SO I didn’t know what happened to Aylse when I read book 3 first….do you get my crazy mind?  LOL  SO to say I was excited to finally know what happened to Regina’s sister is an understatement.

Alys was the quiet daughter.  She was the peace keeper and the calmer of the diva Regina.  She wanted to find a love and have a family but she wanted to make her mark first.  She was a great surgeon and was not looking to settle down any time soon.  She has an interesting conversation with Regina’s future brother in law and is creeped out that he was hitting on her.  Hawt as he IS she wont be a 2^nd choice.  She wants to be someone’s 1^st and only choice.

James is not happy at all.  He is the 2^nd son and due to the death of his brother, he is now the Duke.  Yes the same Duke family that Regina is marrying into.  And before you ask, yes James is a totally hottie like Bradford the brother in law…..can you see where this is headed?  Feisty woman from the future challenging and engaging an old school Duke while falling head over heels in love with each other.

I laughed a lot of Alys use f “every day” language in the 1800’s.  They certainly were confused by her and she was at a total lose for them.  I am waiting for Rose’s book.  She is a great side character who will most definitely get some great guidance from Alys.

Dawn Brower works as a substitute teacher and enjoys the flexibility it gives her to concentrate on her other endeavors.

Growing up she was the only girl out of six children. She is a single mother of two teenage boys; there is never a dull moment in her life. Reading books is her favorite hobby. While she loves all genres she focuses most of her writing on historical and contemporary romance.

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

This is a different kind of story from Jade that I was used to. This put the May-June plot in a new light. I was not sure about this one when I first started it but the end I did find there were parts I really enjoyed.

Kimberly Cooper recently lost her son who was serving in the military. While she was still taking care of her other kids she was still morning her late son. She was not able to move on. Then Brandon Abbott showed up on her door step.

Brandon stated he was friends with Kimberly’s deceased son while in the military. Kimberly was having feelings for this your man that she didn’t think she should. However, she gave in and allowed her heart to lead the way. Then her brain caught up and she started questioning if Brandon was who he said he was and if her and her children were safe with Brandon being there. When she started digging Brandon and Kimberly found themselves in a situation where she had to figure out whom she trusted more strangers or Brandon.

When I thought I was going to have an issue with something I kept reading and realized it either helped Kim or Brandon or it helped Brandon remember something new so I didn’t have an issue with it after all thank you Jade C. Jamison for pushing me out of my comfort zone and try something new for me.

Jamison tried really hard to write what she thought was more “literary” fiction, but she found herself compelled to write what you read by her today—sometimes gritty, raw, realistic stories and other times humorous, light tales—but most of the stories she writes revolve around relationships and characters finding their way through life. While she doesn’t confine herself to just one genre, nor is there a nice neat label for what she writes, most of her work could be called erotic romance.
