OH BOY!!  The day of reckoning has arrived for our pack!!  We find out that Thor needs to find his mate like yesterday in order to survive the upcoming war between wolves.

When Thor smells his mate at the library he knows the little minx is hiding from him but he will not give up.  Sabrea is in fact hiding from her mate because she is not worthy of him.  She is defective and so no mate in their right mind would want a wolf shifter that can’t actually shift!! Right??

Well Sabrea can’t hid anymore from Thor because he finds and saves her from 3 of the Lobo Pack who are trying to take that special crystal away from her.  After the fighting is over he takes her back home to pack up because his mate belongs with him.  Thor and Sabrea  don’t get the time the others mates get because they are thrown into this war head on.

We get alllll of our questions answered like why is the crystal so important.  Who is Seth?  Why do the girls grow more powerful when together? What do Nano O and Maggie know? Is Marissa always going to be a snatch???  LOL but Etc.

If you have enjoyed the series then this book is the icing on the top of the cake!!  Trust me it’s a great epic reading to end this awesome series!!

Oh man is this a good one too!!

This book and the other book slowly set up for, my guess, the in the finale installment with book 3.  There is so much happening and so much more awesomeness to uncover.

We find Kenly being attacked by wolves annnd not the wild ones from the zoo.  These are shifter men and they attack her hoping to kill her???? But enter our Raber Pack Beta, Max, to the rescue.  He saves Kenly and bring her back to the compound.  Why you ask? DUH she is his mate!!  He is going nuts because she has no clue what is going on and no one else can smell they are mates because she is a human.  Yeah old Max is not happy with the lustful stares the other wolves give his intended….LOL

Kenly has to go through the change from human to wolf.  Now a few other humans have tried annnnnd welllll it didnt go so well for them. So poor Kenly on top of learning about wolves, mating, bonding, pack order ANNNNND transitioning for the first time had to deal with the fact she might die…..poor girl right!

Again magic plays a big role in this book and I am super excited to learn about the legend that nana begins to tell us at the end of the book…eeeep.

One of my favorite parts of any book of Lauren’s is how snarky her characters act.  I love the way she has her characters bantering back and forth.  It gives you a big look into her personality as a writer and person.

This story is about Andi who is friends with Laney from book 1.  Andi is hiding out because she got into some trouble when she was younger.  She is living and working under a falsa name of Sara.  She gets a job as an assistant to the rich, powerful and very married Hayden.  They two click instantly forming an easy going work relationship.  They are both work-a-holics because they don’t have anything except work in their lives.  When their virtual chats start to become more “casual” and less “formal” we can see both people changing and looking to a future. Neither every thought about a possible future so it kind of freaks them both out.  Him because he SEEES something he wants and has no clue how to get it.  Her because she SEES something she wants but knows her past will ruin it for her.  There are a few plot twists with some espionage, family secrets being told from multiple people plus will our characters ever get to BE together.

I enjoyed the story but felt it was a little bit slow in the beginning to middle of the story.  The middle to end of the story did get much faster with the story. I think Lauren is an amazing writing and very skilled in her craft.  I think she can weave a story together really well with characters that are flawed but flawed in a way that you can relate to them 100%.

I am looking forward to Carson and Laney’s novella because something was very off with the two of them at the end of the story.  I am also looking forward to Clare getting a story because she is a really good person who got stuck in a bad situation too.

*Licks lips* SHIFTERS~!!  YES PLEASE!!

I loved this quick novella and introduction to the world that Ryan creates.  Zara is a unique shifter who is being used against her will by her Alpha aka her daddy…sad right???  After a lot of emotional and physical abuse she has submitted to his will. She has given up on everything especially finding her true mate.  When her Alpha has a meeting set up for Zara to listen in on,  she goes and finds him…her one true intended.  LETS just say Xavier is not about to let his mate go…….The story is about Xavier’s pack not being too excited about Zara plus dealing with a war from her Alpha/father to claim what is his.

What I liked about the story was the use of good AND bad magic to go along with Zara’s storyline.  I also loved the Xavier and his uber alpha ways but the fact that magic was being used on Zara to block anyone believing she was Xavier’s mate was a fun play and way to further complicate their story.

Natalie…yeah I just cant *sniff* I really want to read more about her in the next story.
