I purchased this audiobook.

I met this author at a book signing and thought she was the most amazing person EVAH. I mean she let me pet her service dog and so of course she is now my best friend. LOL But for real, I needed to read a book of hers and had audio credits to use and DING DING. LAWD When I saw this was a dark romance I legit fell over my own feet running to start listening.

The narration by Lia Holland was good. She kept the story going well and brought Sloane to life for me the listener.

Ok so I know this book is marketed as DARK romance and the themes are DARK but guys it Sweet dark. LOL By that I mean I have read DAAAARK SHEEET and this is not near what I would call DARK. This is a dark chocolate cupcake instead of a vanilla cupcake with buttercream frosting. So those of you worried or afraid, Ya’ll go for it. Virgil and his filthy mouth will keep you enthralled.

So Sloane, has gone through some stuff with her step dad. She is a trauma survivor and living her ebst life with her service dog and other dog. They enjoy the simple life working and living at a campground. Good right? Well one day a super, uber, hawt man, Virgil, checks in and Sloane takes notice. So much notice she is thinking about him when she …well ya know…wink wink. Virgil seems to pop up all the time and is very interested in Sloane. Kinda nice right…oh yeah until he tells her he is a serial killer. Now granted I jumped the ship a bit but yeah every guys has to have 1 bad habit right?? LOL

The way Virgil starts to spend time with Sloane is another questionable method but hey he was trying to woo her…..and woo her he did…

I know some people had issue with stuff but I enjoyed it for what it was …smut…filthy and raw smut. LOL Don’t come at me . I am being honest. I liked the story and the couple. This book was not a true dark romance in what most dark romance readers are wanting but I was here for it!!

AJ Merlin would rather write epic love stories than live them. I mean, who wants to limit themselves to only falling in love once? She is obsessed with dark fantasy, true crime, and also dogs. From serial killers to voyeurs all the way down to the devil himself, AJ’s specialty is in writing irredeemable heroes who somehow still manage to captivate their heroines (and her readers).

Woof that last book was rough. I mean Losing your soulmate is not something you ever expect to deal with plus add a new baby in the mix….Dex had a lot on his plate. When Madi, his wife’s best friend reappears in his and his daughters life again, he never realized how much he needed her. He needs an adult friend but also some to remember Bailey with.

As time goes by we see Madi and Dex’s friendship morph into MORE but are they ready for all that comes with MORE??

If you were a fan of the first book you need to see what happens in the 2^nd book. Bailey and Dex were amazing, but Madi and Dex can be that and more if they just open up to the possibility to it.

I hate giving spoilers but these 2 have a lot to overcome with memories of the past and worried about the future.

Trust me and take the journey with this duet.

I was given a copy of the book by the author for an honest review.

I was looking for an MC series since they are my jam. When I saw the author offering a review copy, I jumped. Again, I love a good MC and it was the start of a new series so heck yeah!!

I opened the book and loved getting a glossary for words since this story takes place in the UK with characters from Ireland. Maybe I am weird, but I loved this. Any who, I opened the book and jumped right on in. Ciara and Demon are starting things off right away with confrontation and a smooch. LOL I mean that is a great start in my book…broody male and an angry female. There was action and of course mega alpha tendencies from Demon. Ciara was a bit wishy washy…I am not your Ol Lady and acted like she didn’t know club life but she did???

The story was an easy read. I didn’t find it hard to follow. It was full of dialogue and kept the story moving but it just felt a little flat for me. It’s not that I didn’t like the story, but I felt it was missing something…some burn or chemistry…yeah I am not sure. It was just a book/story I read.

The side characters weren’t noteworthy, and I wasn’t like HEY what is their back story? I can’t wait for their HEA kinda thing. The story was told well but I didn’t really stop to think about the characters or the story. I wasn’t wondering about the who, what, and why of the story. I just read it.

I am not sure I will jump into book 2 when it I released.

I purchased this book.

I was looking for an MC series since they are my jam. I was attending a book event in like 3 weeks so I checked out the attending author list and found this author. I loved a good prequel so I can meet the characters but also get a feel for the authors writing. I jumped in and read Mountain and Blue.

I was about 2 chapters in and grabbed the first book. I already knew I would be a happy reader.

Now I know some people don’t care for insta-love but I love them. I look at novellas for insta-love since they are quick in and outs ya know. This story is a lot of time hopping but it is needed to bring you to the beginning of book 1. Ya see Mountain’s son is 2 when this book starts and at the end is running the MC….So yeah we need time hops.

Mountain and Blue…they are a great read. Mountain is not very happy when the sister of his baby momma who ran away comes knocking on the door looking for her sister. The story is fast. They are insta-love and insta-attraction, but I loved it. The first time they met, in my opinion, was hysterical. Awkward but totally funny.

Again, this book is a great glimpse to Mountain and Blue who are the head of the MC until Whiskey takes over in book 1. The book introduces you to the main charter members and their kids who I am guessing will be running the MC when the series begins. I don’t think this book was published first but heck maybe I am wrong. But I loved the story and all that it entailed. It gave me a peek into the series and what I will soon be devouring.

I am a big fan of this series. I have loved how Teresa keeps the series fresh by adding new elements IE Witches, demons, etc to the overall arc of the plot. Its not like Supernatural where they were just constantly saving the planet…get me?

We met Jake a few books ago when he was happily getting married/mated to Tracy, the love of his life and mate. When she was murdered, on their wedding day, I was like “Aint no coming back from that” only to discover there is a story for Jake.

Jessie we just met a book or so ago. She is Mitch’s niece. We all love Mitch for the bossy boss of Nicole who runs the social agency helping orphaned children. Jessie has seen Jake a time or two and is thankful he has saved her when she seemed to find trouble. She is also understanding about the loss she knows Jake has had with Tracy. However, she just FEELS something when he is around but certainly, he doesn’t feel that way….right???

I loved this story brings in another villain for the over all story named Gello not to be confused with Jell-O like Steve thinks. LOL Oh Steve. We also see a story for Daniel being percolated along with Jill’s storyline. I am so loving that totally. I want to know what is happening in Teresa’s mind.

What I didn’t love, not that I didn’t love the story was….I missed Jake and Jessie. Yes, they were in the story but I felt like their story was a secondary plot point. I also felt this way about Ryker and Susan. We saw both couples dancing around each other and then boom one chapter they are in love. I know there are many more couples and story lines to keep up with, but I miss the original books where the couple seemed more front and center vs a side story.

Will I continue the series? ABSOLUTELY!! It’s a great series with amazing plot twists and turns. The story never gets old and keeps you entertained 110%.

This series is one I can read over and over. Jake has now been added to the list as a reread. I really like how this book is building up to something big. I’m not sure how this world is going to end but with the warriors and Guardians you know it is going to be epic.

Jake has so much healing to do after losing the woman he loved on their wedding day. When he realizes Jessie is his mate he struggles with the loss of Tracy and knowing Jesse is his mate.

Jessie is Mitch’s niece and an amazing dancer. She is strong willed and a bit witty a perfect mate for our newest Warrior Jake.

There was a lot going on in the book. We see Jake and Jessie grow closer together and learn about one another. We see Jill deal with everything changing for her being a half-breed and not being released back into rotation. Being Sloan’s errand girl is not what she signed up for which forces her to make some hard decisions. There are the demons that are plotting to take out heir biggest threat and the Warriors youngest member.

I have to say I absolutely fell in love with king in this book. I loved everything about him at the dance competition he had me in stitches. I cannot wait to see what is in store for the Warriors and Guardians in the upcoming books. I know I will not be disappointed and will be on the edge of my seat like always.

Fully Covering Her by Michel Prince

I was given this book by the author for an honest review.

I am a huge fan of Michel’s book so pretty much anything she offers, I will read. I loved the first book in this series and couldn’t wait to read Noah. He is an all-American good-looking guy who also is a bit of a playboy. The book starts out with Noah and Harrison nattering in typical fashion. When Harrison informs Noah, he will be the lean on CeCe Chambers…THE CeCE Chamber case he is floored. He will be the boss of the security detail over a stalker she is dealing with. He will also be protecting her fashion designer sister Chloe. Not too bad of a set up. Keep eye on a sexy movie star and run the whole job…YES PLEASE!

Chloe and CeCe have traditional twin banter. They harass and annoy each other. CeCe loves the limelight whereas Chloe is happy sketching, sewing, and designing for her fashion business. When they are told they will need security both women are none to thrilled.

The slow burn chemistry between Noah and Chloe is pretty much from the start. Both see the other as some deliciousness but as they learn to deal with the stubborn other, they start to have some fireworks. The chemistry Is pretty off the charts. I will say Kennedy was my absolute favorite BFF a girl can want/need.

As the story builds, we see the stalker might have been caught buuuuuut not really. The twist of who the stalker is and why was pretty good. I didn’t see it coming and then I was like “GASP is it THAT PERSON!!” I admit I was reading more for the sexy times then the who done it aspect of the story. LOL Noah is a DIRTY boy ladies and just want this reader wanted to read!!

I can’t wait for more from this series.

With characters yelling “It’s my turn damn it!!!” She tries to explain to them that alas, she can only type a hundred and twenty words a minute and they will have wait their turn. I purchased this audiobook.

WOOF!! Roch. He has my attention from the beginning of book 1!! I knew that dog loving mute would be the death of me and he sure was.

Truly. She is the perfect person for him. She understands his needs for control, quiet, peace, and accepts he is older then her even if her mom won’t be happy about it. I mean do you really want your19 year old with a man mid 30’s? Prolly not!!

Truly has always had a bond with Roch/Will. She knew at a young age he was it for her. She was doing everything in her power to MAKE him SEE the woman she was. Roch was starting to notice and was not happy with himself for it.

When she joins forces with Birdie to get him to SEE her, everything changes for him and her. Truly is however thrust into club life when the enemy is causing problems, and little does she know her friend is the enemy.

I loved their story. I loved all the scenes with Truly and her mom I felt they were a genuine reaction to how any mom would feel especially add on he is in a biker club with shady dealings.

I thought the naïve young girl thinking she can help/save everyone has her bubble burst a little but with Roch and Birdie there to guide her, I can’t wait to see where they end up.

Man Book 3 had me salivating. This is soooo going to be good.

For any true crime fan this book is a must. Israel Keyes is the serial killer I knew the least about except that people say he is the worst. After listening to this audio book, I have to say he is absolutely terrifying. The man was pure evil. He was a total contradiction of what we know about serial killer and their MO’s. I believe it was a total fluke he was caught with Samantha’s murder. But if not he would have continued to kill people for the rest of his life. The fact he GAVE UP information to the FBI not because he wanted to help but relive the crimes in his mind was revolting.

I will think about this man and wonder why he isn’t as well know as people like Bundy and Gacy because IMO he is the worst of them all.
