Review of Prove It by Lauren Stewart

I was given this book by the author for an honest review.

Ok I love Lauren.  Period. Full Stop.  I am going to say if you haven’t read you then you need too.  She has some of the snarkiest banter EVER written.  SO here is my challenge to you the new reader.  Open she short story.  Read the first freaking chapter.  If you are I love with it, then are seeing why I Love her.  In one chapter we get smart ass, sass, banter and hella sexy steam…one freaking chapter ya’ll.  When you have read her short story, you will need to run and grab the rest of her library (start with Hyde!!)

This story is about a woman who is just hoping for a meaningless but satisfying one night stand to heal her broken heart.  She got screwed over again at work annnnd needs to have a night of sexiness.  Turns out the dude currently whispering in her ear is NOT the man of her meaningless dreams and then Mr. 8” shows up and changed the entire night…until…holy crap on a cracker….it can’t be him…the one she dreams about but cant have because……well……he is her boss!!!!

The story is funny, sexy, and with lots a twists in the short story.  Seriously I loved it and was laughing while I was in the car on a long trip.  I hope you give her story a chance because you will NOT be sorry.

*Big breath in and out. Wipes my teary eyes and looks at my lappy trying to figure out how in the heck I am going to write a review for this book of amazingness without just blabbing and telling you the whole sorted story.*

Maverick…she has loved and I mean whole heart loved Killian her entire life.  She has grown up knowing he will be her forever.  Promises made and kisses stolen but yet he comes home to destroy her by marrying her sister.

Kael is Killian’s younger brother who has loved Mav his entire life.  He has been by her side for everything.  He has helped her when she fell and celebrated with her for every victory. He has also loved her for as long as he can remember.  When he married her he really and truly married the woman of his dreams.  Too bad she didn’t return that love.

Killian was doing the right thing by Mav.  He was waiting for her to grow up but he was plotting to have a forever with her but then everything changed in the blink of an eye.

The story killed me.  The very first chapter you can see a whole lotta emotion…… We can feel Mav and Killian’s chemistry but at the same time I am rooting for Kael.  We can see how much he loves and had loved Mav.  He was there to heal her heart after Killian betrayed her.  He was slowly becoming her everything and my heart was so happy for our couple….and then…BOOM…the closet flies open. Everything changed in the blink of an eye.  The book made me a mess. Who do I want Mav with?  Kael or Killian?  Her present or her past?  Her best friend or her forever love???  Is she destined to be a Swan or a Small Fry???  I loved and hated each man at different times in the book for different reasons but then when we find out why they did things………..omg my heart would just bust wide open for them.

I am a huge fan on KL’s writings and she is an auto buy for me because her writing is flawless and has so much emotional depth in it.  If you haven’t read her stuff, you are missing out and need to one click the rest of her library.  If you already are a fan this book will make your heart skip a few beats like every other book you have read.

I’m just a regular ol’ Midwest girl who likes Game of Thrones and am obsessed with Modern Family and The Goldbergs. I run, I eat, I run, I eat. It’s a vicous cycle. I love carbs, but there’s love-hate relationship with my ass and thighs. Mostly hate. I like a good cocktail (oh hell…who am I kidding? I love any cocktail). I’m a huge creature of habit, but I’ll tell you I’m flexible. I read every single day and if I don’t get a chance…watch the hell out, I’m a raving bitch. My iPad and me: BFFs. I’m direct and I make no apologies for it. I swear too much. I love alternative music and in my next life I want to be a bad-ass female rocker. I hate, hate, hate spiders, telemarketers, liver, acne, winter and loose hairs that fall down my shirt (don’t ask, it’s a thing).

I was given this book by the author for an honest review.

I was so excited for this book.  Since we all lived the training center with Bree I thought this was a great addition to the series.  I mean seeing Sir going through his training before he became “The Head Master” we all fell in love with…sigh…yes it was perfection in my book.

We all look as Thane/Sir as the perfect Master right?  Well in this book we seen his first steps into being the Master he is NOW.  We see him stumble.  We see him doubt himself.  We see a very unsure dominant.  Which blew my mind because Thane is not an unsure dominant.

I was in heaven seeing him make friends in class much like Bree did years later.  I would love to see Kat again and even Surfer Boy.  I wonder if they will make an appearance in the Bree books since they are new characters we all enjoyed.

I was in heaven seeing the dominant we know and love being excited watching the Masters he trained with.  He was so inquisitive and wanted to learn everything he could learn.  Seeing the friendship with Tono and know where it goes in the future made my heart sing.

Of course, no book is complete with out Master Anderson and Rytsar joining in the shenanigans.  Their growth as characters has been a joy to watch as well.

There was only one thing I felt was missing in the *Chef kiss* amazing story…the bidding ceremony.  I remember it fondly in Bree’s book.  Otherwise, I think this book is just what we needed and wanted to see of our Sir learning and growing in to the man Bree captures.

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

I so enjoyed this book.  It gives us a glimpse into Sirs history and shows us his time as a student at the training center.  We get to see how Sir is cool and calm under pressure and how he is so hard on himself.

Sir gets tested in the 6 weeks he is at the training center. Not only by the instructors but by classmates and even the submissive. As always, he has his friends Anderson, Durov and even Samantha that help him through things that are happening. There were so many amazing scenes in this story inside the training center and outside of it also. My heart went out to Sir in a few scenes but so glad he was able to rise above them and showed us what a spectacular man he is by either how he reacted to the situation or rectified it.

I don’t want to go into details about this book because it was such an amazing journey that I feel if you have read the past Brie books you will absolute love this one and I want to make sure you get to soak in the experience as I did.

This place…it calls to me like a siren’s song. I belong here.

BEST BOOKS EVER!
This is one of the best books I have ever read. It grabs a hold of you from page one. It will not let you go at all. You have to keep reading till you are done. It is after 1:00 am, I should be in bed. I just had to finish this book. This is Raven’s book. You will find that others play a big roll in it also. Susan is a spitfire that will crack you up. I freaking laughed out loud and snorted. I may have even piddled a bit. I also cried. Those that follow my reviews know I love a book that brings out many emotions. This will put you through the ringer. When Raven went through the Gauntlet I felt like I was run over by a train. Raven is one badass vampire! I can not wait for Ryker’s book. Fun Times and Mystery

Such a fun romantic suspense. I love the antics the Boba Book Babes get into. If anything like this happened at a book event I went to, I would piddle my pants. This story played like a movie in my head. Austin is the sexy model all the readers want a picture with. Gina is a reader and one of the BBB girls. Looking forward to the next book… From a Fan… Pam James 

Rochelle puts an artistic spin on everything she does but there are two things she fails at miserably:
1. Cooking (seriously, she can burn water)
2. Sewing (buttons immediately fall back off)

I was given this book by the author for an honest review.

GAH!!  This book!!  We have seen Porsche in several of the books as a back up character or a dancer at the Roadside.  In Dreamers book we got to KNOW her and her back story.  I was super excited to see her get a book and knowing it would be with one of Hack’s buddies, I knew it would be good!!

Mike, Bugs, finds out the worst news ever by accident when he is picking up his daughter.  He runs to his friend’s town knowing SEALS help SEALS.  Little does he know this group also helps abused women and children.

Porsche, Turbo, is loving her live dancing but maybe is wondering about more.  It seems more and more people are shacking up and getting knocked up so she fears drinking the water.  But Porsche loves her live.  She does have some trauma she doesn’t want to deal with annnnd she really hates to take her medication for her mental health, but she loves her.

She gets a hair brain scheme to help the town and Chief raise funds for a town firetruck which causes a lot of funny moments and scenes between the men and their women to count.

When Porsche meets Mike the chemistry is sizzling off the charts but when Mike’s daughter, Syd, begins to open up and trust this woman, Mike begins to want ot know more about her.

Guys the story about Syd is crushing but the story of her recovery, loyalty, trust, and Love is what makes this book.  The last 2 chapters…one had me in tears with laughter but the last has me in tears for heartbreak!!  I absolutely oved this story.  Porsche was one hell of a woman and I will enjoy rereading this story a lot.  If I wasn’t 110% team Baldy, Mike might have stolen my heart with what he did to claim his woman!!
