This is the third book in the Black Mountain Pack series and it is all about the Silver Fox Sterling. He loves the pack is now in there is something pulling him to run.  Sterling knows it’s not for his mate because he had one and it is rare to be gifted with a second chance.  He is asked to go see what is going on in a pack in Texas. Sterling quickly realizes he is not just there to help with the issue at hand but to protect Reana his mate.

Reana is stuck where she knows things are right but can do nothing to stop it until Sterling and his crew shows up.  She is all for helping out but not willing to submit to being Sterling’s mate even if her fox disagrees. There is no way Reana can give into the matting with Sterling she is not willing to lose everything by breaking her packs rules.  Reana lost her Alpha and her best friend she is not willing to lose any more.

The connection that Reana and Sterling have was captivating. Watching her struggle to keep her fox at bay and the banter those two had was entertaining. However, Sterling seemed to have the same issue with his fox.  I enjoyed seeing a diverse group of shifters come together to accomplish a goal. I was surprised with what some of them were and what they could do. There are so many great shifters in this series and I want to learn all of their stories. I would love to hear what Steven’s story is he is not the big alpha of the group but his submissiveness is an asset in this story. Plus those quiet ones always have a way to my heart.

I love this series and of course Others of Edenton. Brandy has a way of capturing me and taking me away with her characters.  She has strong willed women and protective males.

In the previous book Amelia was turned into a vampire and now the Council needs her help to solve a case. This puts Brent and Amelia together to work closely on this case. The draw that keeps pulling these two together is unavoidable. Brent is cautious when it comes to Amelia and them binding he only wants it to happen if that is what she really wants and not because of an assignment. Not only does this assignment bring her and Brent closer but Amalia is faced with Eamon who tries to get her to be with him by helping to unlock her past.

The twist and turns kept me wondering what was going to happen. Loved Amelia and Brent together and to see their story unfold was incredible. I was so enthralled when both Amelia and Brent’s back story came to light. The thing that was most amazing was what Brent and Amelia has to be able to pull off for this assignment to work. I have to say it the one think I love about this series and Others of Edenton Series is how well Brandy entwines the characters from both series. I cannot wait for her next book she has a way of telling a brilliant story not matter if it is her paranormal or her contemporary.

I picked up this audio book and I have to say it surprised me.  The narrator did a great job keeping me invested in the story and not wanting to press the paus button until it was done.  I don’t usually go out and pick up a historical but I did in this case because my Bestie told me it was great. I have to agree with her it was a good novella I was able to listen to it in one day.

Lady Pippa Godfrey found herself in the midst of a scandal because of a comment that was made by her Bestie about her. So when the invite to the holiday party of Natalie arrives Lady Pippa decided to ignore it. Lady Pippa is waiting for her parents to arrive home when a snow storm hits. The snowstorm brings with it one arrogant pushy Lucas Hartfeld who is seeking shelter from the weather. When Lady Pippa puts up a fight Lucas does what he does best and demands she provide shelter for him and his men.

Lucas is on his way to attend the holiday party when he gets stranded in the snow storm. He finds himself at the doorstep of the feisty Lady Pippa’s home. Although he is frustrated with her he seems to be drawn to her. Lady Pippa shows Lucas that there is room in life to relax and enjoy the small things.

The banter back and forth between Lady Pippa and Lucas was entertaining. The love that Lady Pippa had for other was heartwarming. To watch Lucas find the true spirit of giving by watching Lady Pippa was remarkable. When his time is up and he has to continue his journey without Lady Pippa she is sadden. How will this end does Lucas continue his on his own, abide by his parents, or does he go after Lady Pippa? I have to say I did not like Natalie but in the end I am intrigued to find out more about her.

I listen to this book in one day.  It drew me in and I didn’t want to hit pause.  I was looking for something different I am a shifter and MC gal I’m usually not a sports type girl but this one may have changed my mind.

Luke came from the wrong side of town but was able to rise above it and made something of his life. After his parents died he finds himself responsible for his 14 year old sister. A big change from what he was use to in his life. He is use to fast cars and easy women. He finds himself face to face with a feisty librarian when he forgets his sister at the library.

Violet is getting by day by day and paycheck to paycheck but she is doing well for herself. She befriends a 14 year old girl, Frankie, which comes by the library daily that she finds she has a lot in common with between books, music, and the loss of both their parents. Violet finds Luck is there to bail her out of trouble when her car breaks down and forced to spend time with him.

I loved the back and forth Violet had regarding the relationship with Luke.  It felt real and could see this occur in life. Quite book girl finds herself in the fast and the furious world of a man and his car. You could not have two more opposites than Luke and Violet….Luke lives life by the seat of his pants and the faster the better….Violet likes quite time and to be alone. The side characters were great too. I want to find out so much more about them. My heart went out to Frankie for having to deal with her aunt and everything that her aunt put her through.  I cannot wait to read Mitch’s story but the one I am really interested in is Kurt and Leelee.  I loved Leelee from the moment she arrived at the races. I want a friend like her. I cannot wait to see how things go when these two go head to head.

I love seeing Brie and Sir’s story develop but when we get Sir’s POV makes it more special. This begins with Sir getting on the plane and takes us through Sir’s journey fighting for his life and making his way back to Brie and his family.  To see Sir on the plan and how he took care of Lucinda was so heartwarming. Sir is going to make a wonderful father to their child.  Sir struggles while in a coma but has an amazing connection to Brie and his family.

I have to say my favorite part of this book is seeing the things Sir and Rytsar do for Brie. The way these men know what Brie needs when she needs is makes my heart swell.  The way all the men in this series come together to support and take care of an amazing woman and her baby is just amazing. Sir has a way with wooing his Tia, from the date in the hospital, enduring his “punishment”, and the rings OMG the rings.

I cannot wait to see more of this series the way Sir, Rytsar and his colleges support and rally around one another is inspiring.  The bond that Sir and Rytsar have is unbreakable. The journey for Brie and Sir is not over it sounds like they have a wonderful new one on the way.  Just wiggling in my seat waiting to see what amazing things will happen in their lives next.

So when you are on a road trip with your BFF and she starts to read this book to you while you drive stating you just have to read. Well you listen to her and let me tell you she was right.  I am hooked on this series.

Ariel Kimber has not had an easy life mostly thanks to her mother. Her mom abuses her and has men going in and out her door like people going in and out a revolving door. Her mom meets a man and uproots her to a strange town and new school with no friends. The hurt doesn’t end there being the new girl at school proves to be difficult especially when the town knows her mom’s rep.  When she meets her neighbor’s things start to change for her.

Tyson lives with his Uncle Quinton and twins, Able and Addison.  Ariel becomes fast friends with Tyson but she is leery of Uncle Quin. These four are keeping a big secret from Ariel and she has no idea how much she has in common with them or why she is drawn to them.

The connection these guys and Ariel have is off the charts. The surprises and twists Mary Martel puts in this one has me wanting more and more as I read. The characters are different in their own way and I want to know everything about each one..yes, even Uncle Quin he is so brooding and mysterious.

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

This is a quick little read but packed full of hotness, secrets and some laughter.

Kiki is a graphic designer who designs book covers for authors. she has a great career and a wonder family.  However, because of her small family she is guarded, protective, and not willing to put her heart out there again. really she has the greatest friend a girl could want. Chaz is her BFF and he only wants the best for Kiki. He had me cracking up in this story. OMG “wet bread” What Really Chaz (i cannot even if you want to know you will have to read it).

B.Vesper is looking to cover his books and he is going to picky.  He contacts Kiki to take on this project. B puts Kiki in contact with his cover model/PA Bo.  Bo and Kiki end up covering more than just book covers and Bo slowly starts to bring Kiki’s walls down. When Bo reveals he is keeping a secret and has been lying to her can she forgive and learn to trust again?

I loved these people not just Bo and Kiki but also Chaz and the twins. They know how to have fun and support one another as BFF’s should. I enjoyed Bo and the BDSM aspect in this story.  Seeing Kiki respond and submit to Bo was entertaining. I liked Bo and Kiki and would have enjoyed reading more of them and of course Chaz too.
