I so enjoyed this read it had me turning pages to see what Shelby would say next.  She doesn’t hold back. What kind of girl is Shelby well let me just say when she goes to Halloween party where she dressed as a fairy, and not in the Tinker Bell fairy kind of way, when she runs in to the biggest jerk ever Nick and we see her personality shine. What’s a girl to do when being treated like this she lets loose and finds herself in the back of a police cruiser with the Jerk. Thinking her biggest issue is going to jail only things go terribly wrong and she finds herself in a strange and unbelievable predicament.  Just when she thought no biggie I will never see him again she is pulled out on a double date with her bestie only to find she is face to face with the Halloween party Jerk. Now that she finds herself in the center of danger Nick takes it upon himself to protect her. Nick has found his one but Shelby has no idea what that entails only that she is up for a little fun but when Nick has to bring in back up she finds her life may have to take a change of course.  Is she ready for that? Can she be what Nick needs?

I loved seeing Nick and Shelby’s personalities show when they are with one another.  Shelby had me chuckling and turning the pages to see what was going to happen next. Not only did I enjoy Shelby and Nick but I also found myself wanting to know more about the side characters also. I enjoyed this book and cannot wait to read more of this series.

This book took me on an emotion rollercoaster JM Walker has a way of jarring the emotions from me. I have to say the opening of this book had me hooked and the ending had me choked up. Lives change in the blink of an eye can Max and Dale find a way to deal with the changes. What happens when evil reaches your loved one and tortures them?

Max the VP of her MC has dealt with having her heart torn out by the one she loved the most now is dealing with the loss of her baby girl and now the person responsible for her hurt is laying in a coma. Max cannot let Dale in again not with the way he treated her heart the last time.

When Dale does wake up from the coma he cannot remember all the hurt he caused Max but tries to figure out why she being this way toward him. Max cannot let him in again not with the way he treated her heart the last time. See when someone has never been loved he gets scared when he has it and doesn’t know how to deal with it. Dale shows us a sweet side of the a$$ of a man.

There wasn’t much verbal communication between Max and Dale but they did have some numbing sex scenes. To watch what Max and Dale endured in the past and now is painful and how can they overcome all that has occurred. Everything Max and Dale went through had my heart bleeding for them. I cannot image what is going to happen in the rest of this series and I for one cannot wait to read it.

Shade is all alpha knows what he wants when he sees it and given the chance to swoop in and take it he will.  He knows what he wants and once he gets it no one will take it away without a fight. I loved seeing a different side of Shade when he was around Mandy he would do anything for her and the way he came to her rescue was all Shade. He was a take charge kind of guy and to see Mandy not back down to Shade was amusing.

The chemistry between Shade and Mandy was sizzling. I would like to see more of Bone and Sara story and Hannah and Heath. I just love this series and the more Joanna writes about them the more I want to soak up each word written.

Cody had been fishing since he was itty bitty and wanted to teach his friends Hunter and Samantha how to fish. Cody, Hunter and Samantha wanting to catch Big Bertha, the cat fish.

I think the book was really good. I especially like the characters they were really nice in the book. My favorite part of the book was when Samantha didn’t want Cody to put the bluegill on his fishing hook. My second favorite part was when Samantha, Hunter and Cody found the Old Man Summers lost dog in the woods. Hunter was really funny, Samantha laughed at everything and Cody was really strict. Samantha and Hunter fought on what each other could and couldn’t do.  I think that people who like to go fishing would enjoy this book.

I almost forgot how much I loved these men.  The chemistry Mallory and Sawyer have is explosive but they both try to fight it.

Sawyer was released early from prison and is now trying to protect his brother and the people of Bear Flat. See when the prison closed it left behind a violent gang and they had their sights on Sawyers brother for killing the leader of the gang in a prison break.  Sawyer being the former Navy SEAL was all about taking them out before they got to his family. A spunky contractor caught his attention but getting involved with someone is the last thing he needs especially if they are just wanting a little thrill of being with an ex-con.

Mallory runs a contract company and looking for the perfect guy that she can blend well with. Little did she know her one night stand would be her neighbor in the next few days and she would be working on his property?  The way these two keep coming together and then repelling each other like a pair of magnets is magnetizing.  Mallory knows when to push Sawyer and when to let things go but when he rejects her in town it is heart crushing.

Sawyer has to push Mallory away to keep her safe but she is not one to sit by and watch her town go in the gutter. She is a fighter and can swing a broom with the best of them. She rallies the town and puts herself in the middle of all the danger Sawyer has tried so hard to keep her away from. I love Mallory and her gift she is loving, caring and protective in her own way. She sees someone in trouble she jumps in to help. There was a lot of push and pull between Mallory and Sawyer. Mallory was all in but Sawyer was still in protecting mode and protection meant he needed distance. I enjoyed seeing the Mastersons, the Hunts, and even Simon and Xavier. I enjoyed this book Mallory is an introvert but when the time comes to stand up and push back she is all in especially when her friends are in danger.

Sawyer didn’t think a woman had ever looked at him as Mallory did now – as if she could see past his skin and into his soul. And still liked what she saw.

“Good. But, Mallory, you’re new. Even if you forget the colors, it’s all right. I’m going to be right here with you, figuring out what you’re saying. What you need.” His eyes were steady on hers. He was totally in control of himself – and her.

Well, honestly. Mallory scowled. “Although I believe in recycling, you’ve gone too far. Good advise shouldn’t be returned like you would a… a soda bottle.”

Don’t let this short story fool you it packs a punch. If you are looking for a quick read with a sexy alpha shifter and a sassy lady grab this one.

I loved the most was Gemma’s determination, fire and fight she may have been scared to death but she never showed it on the outside. With a short story it always leaves you wanting more. I would love to learn more about Eric’s wonderful pack, a little more of Gemma’s past, maybe a little more about Larry too and if they ever find who they were looking for. This is me hoping there is more to this story….maybe a new series?? Please??

If you are a fan of Teresa’s,  you will obviously need to buy this one because it’s a new possible series….Teresa????  Thoughts???  Begging???  Ok Pleading!!  If you haven’t read her, uhm why?  But then this will get you a quick look at her writing and awesomeness.   Yes, that is a real word so leave me be.

Ok Gemma is a wear your heart on the sleeve kinda girl.  She is going to protect her wolf sanctuary even if the townies and sheriff want her to pack it up and leave.  She is following with her passion and protecting her grandfather’s legacy.

Eric is the alpha shifter of a near by pack of wolves.  He is looking for a rogue shifter but also looking to see if the legend of a safe place for shifters is true.

When he meets her is stunned that this feisty and sassy human is his mate but also stunned that she cares for these wolves without thinking of her own safety.  When Eric joins in the help her during a trying time the sparks fly and the couple end up opening up to what they know and who they are.

I loved the quick book and can’t want for more.  I mean Eric’s brothers need a book plus we need to know about the bad guy Eric is tracking!!

This series keeps getting better and better the twist and turns have me going in all different directions. It is like keeping score one for the good guys, one for the bad guys, who is going to get the next one. The Lucidites and Olento Research are both out to find the werewolves. The cat and mouse game has me captivated.

Hunter is on a warpath trying to settle the score with those who did wrong by him. Only problem is he is leaving a path of carnage behind him. Adelaide went undercover to find out more about Olento and where it is located. Talk about nail biting couple of chapters….will she find the evidence she is looking for, will she find more than she bargained for….will she get caught by the ruthless evil Mika?

Seeing all these characters grow and find their place in the scheme of things is amazing.  I need to know more about Malcolm, Rio, Zephyr, Hunter, Rox, Conner, and yes even Kris the invisible girl. One of my favorite scenes is when Adelaide takes Lucien to the library. I have a feeling things are going to get worse before they get better. Waiting patiently for Bad Wolf because I need to know more.

She probably thought that people respected her because of her father. But he wasn’t impressed by her because of whom she was related to, but rather because she was like whom she was related to. Adelaide was the embodiment of all things Connor had heard about Ren Lewis. She was brave and mysterious and powerful and pulled it all off with the perfect degree of snarky indifference.

She instinctively felt that he could do many things with that stare. Maybe even put her back together.

WOW another great book by Brandy L. Rivers. This is book 10 of Others of Edenton where Consuela and Declan are taking on Vampires and demons all while trying to figure out their connection to one another.

What does one do when they are struggling with guilt so big you don’t know how you will overcome it? Consuela is breaking down and Declan can feel her pain when he visits her in her dreams. Declan does the only thing he can by going to her to try and help. But how can she trust anyone after what she has been through? Declan and Consuela are in the middle of helping the Silver Council deal with a group of vampires that are playing a deadly game of Blood Bound.

This book has everything I went through so many emotions plus there was action and suspense. The love story between Declan and Consuela was genuine. I enjoyed being able to see all the different characters and love the way Brandy intertwines the characters and we get to see glimpses of them. My heart was absolutely broken after seeing what Amelia went through. I am so ready for the next book already.
