Livi’s Love by MJ Fields and Chelsea Camaron

Eeep it’s the Caldwell brothers!! Poor Hendrix he is dealing with a house full of hormonal pregnant females and has a stray underfoot he cannot shake.

This had me cracking up. Even though Hendrix house is going to be filling up fast he is getting a stray even if he fights against it. I don’t think this one is wondering off any time soon.  I do have to say I love all that he does to make the females in his house happy.

This is my first SE Hall read and I have to say I enjoyed meeting Dean and Lainey. The alpha Dean and strong willed Lainey are a perfect pair they keep each other on their toes. Seeing the love Lainey has for her family and friends throughout this process was amazing. I was even intrigued by the comradery and love the entire gang had for one another. However, out of all of them Sawyer walked in and stole my heart. I think I need to read more about this group of friends.

Brian is called out to respond to a break and enter scene. only to find it is an old friends sister, Kylie. Kylie’s brother has placed her in danger thanks to his criminal ways.  Kylie doesn’t fully trust Brian because he used to be friends with her brother in high school.

Kylie has had a crush on Brian since she was 10. Question is can she find a way to trust him and does she believe he is a good guy. She is done with her brother and Brian will do what is need to make sure she is safe and that she can trust that he is nothing like her brother.

This was a wonderful short story. the chemistry between Brian and Kylie is explosive. I enjoyed seeing the comradery between partners Brian and Marissa. Great job Brandy L. Rivers I do love it when a short story had me wanting more.

Audio Review

I love shifters and military books; although this is not military it has a Navy Seal feel. Bez is a Dire wolf and if you need something taken care of or found you call the Dire’s they can do anything. Dez is the best so when he got a call to find and recover an Omega the elite of female shifters he was on the hunt.

There was only one problem with the mission when he arrived there were two Omegas. Mission Protocol was to extract one and leave all others. Except the other Omega was his Mate! I know right what does a Dire wolf do in this case? Does one listen to orders or throw all plans out the window and make new ones on the fly taking the target and your mate? That’s right Bez takes Sariel along with the young Omega Angelita.

The action in this was captivating the narrator kept me right with the story. I felt as if I was there with Bez, Angelita, and Sariel the entire time. It was heartbreaking and painful to see what Bez had to force Angelita into. The fight scenes with Bez and the enemy were nothing short of amazing. Sariel and Bez instant chemistry was explosive. Serial is strong and tough just the type of she-wolf Bez needs. Even though Bez has never been in a relationship and made some mistakes Sariel and Angelita were there to tell him how he messed up. I need to down load more of this series..

Rochelle Paige – Unexpected Bargain

Charlie and Chad could not have been any cuter. They have a chance meeting during Black Friday shopping not realizing who the other was until Charlie’s mom recognized him. You see they were neighbors but Chad moved away when they were in middle school.

I loved how quickly they connected and what Chad did for Charlie. I really would like to know more about Chads partner Luke and his story.

Rebecca Brooke – Under Cover

This opening scene was great had me on pins and needles. Way to open a story up had me hook line and sinker. James is an undercover cop who goes to a local bar to get away from family on Christmas to be alone but finds Melanie the bartender intriguing and spends hours chatting. They both found it easy to talk to one another.

I enjoyed watching this quick romance. However, I really would like to know more about this couple and how things progress with their relationship.

Brandy L. Rivers – An Eve to Remember

Eve was out to celebrate her birthday at a local bar tired of being set up on dates and sick of boyfriends not being able to handle her being a cop. One night stand on her birthday she could handle that. She meets Kenji and had a great evening with him but when it came to getting to know one another Eve shot him down. Little did she know she would see him again and both would find out what each other did for a living.

I loved how well Eve’s partner knew her and knew not to try to set her up with a man but a little secret setup never hurts. This like the others was a great quick read. As always Brandy made this heroin a strong willed bad ass woman one that doesn’t need a man to protect her and can take a hit now and then. Kenji was great at not pushing or being an over the top alpha he was who he was and let things play out to show Eve he was not nothing like the other men she knew.
