I received this book from the author for an honest review.

I FLove this series.  I love the back and forth through time aspect.  When I saw Callista was getting a book I was so happy.  This woman has lived through a lot and endured so much sadness.  I needed her to have a HEA for sure.  She is a super smart, sassy, feisty, AND a killer SPY helping  tracking down Napoleon…Kicka$$ female right!!  Her heart is broken and still bruised over the loss of her Edward but I have a feeling she will have a lot of fun with Zane…snickers……

Zane is from today and not loving life.  He has read the journals and he just KNOWS in his heart Callista will be coming to his time.  He is a smidge obsessed with her because of what he knows of her.  He also knows she will hold the cards to getting Trenton his love back.

The banter between the two is a riot.  Her telling him to stop being so “untoward” and him flirting shamelessly when dress shopping with her.  But I think they are a great fit for one another. She will challenge him every step of the way and he will help her fill in the gaps to her past.  I enjoyed their novel a lot but I gotta tell ya…Captain Jack is getting a book…EEEEP…I. CANT. WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

I-Che-Mama…this book!!!  Ok so if you haven’t read Finger Bang my first question is WHY!!  But anyway, we meet Rachel in there.  She is a riot and so I was super excited to read her surprise book from Jade.  Rachel is Blaze’s sister if you HAVE read Finger Bang.

SO Rachel is Miss Organized and On-Track-For-Success.  She is busy with her career to really notice men or give them the time of day.  When a fluke sends her scheduled life into chaos she is so confused at Spike/Sergio’s appearance into her life.

Sergio/Spike is stunned by Rachel’s intelligence and sexuality.  She is sweet but smart.  She is feisty but a soft gushy pile of goo with him.  He was excited to meet her but shocked when he met her the night before their business meeting.

This book is HAWT…I mean Fan yourself hawt from the first opening scene all the way through until the finale page.  The chemistry is OF THE CHARTS!!  I mean Jade writes steamy stuff but this might just be her steamiest yet!!!  I gotta say, I loved this serial but to be honest, I would have LOVED more from them because they have a great story line.  I loved the banter and I especially loved Rachel trying to deny their chemistry.

For years, Jade C. Brian is called out to respond to a break and enter scene. only to find it is an old friends sister, Kylie. Kylie’s brother has placed her in danger thanks to his criminal ways.  Kylie doesn’t fully trust Brian because he used to be friends with her brother in high school.

Kylie has had a crush on Brian since she was 10. Question is can she find a way to trust him and does she believe he is a good guy. She is done with her brother and Brian will do what is need to make sure she is safe and that she can trust that he is nothing like her brother.

This was a wonderful short story. the chemistry between Brian and Kylie is explosive. I enjoyed seeing the comradery between partners Brian and Marissa. Great job Brandy L. Rivers I do love it when a short story had me wanting more.

Audio Review

I love shifters and military books; although this is not military it has a Navy Seal feel. Bez is a Dire wolf and if you need something taken care of or found you call the Dire’s they can do anything. Dez is the best so when he got a call to find and recover an Omega the elite of female shifters he was on the hunt.

There was only one problem with the mission when he arrived there were two Omegas. Mission Protocol was to extract one and leave all others. Except the other Omega was his Mate! I know right what does a Dire wolf do in this case? Does one listen to orders or throw all plans out the window and make new ones on the fly taking the target and your mate? That’s right Bez takes Sariel along with the young Omega Angelita.

The action in this was captivating the narrator kept me right with the story. I felt as if I was there with Bez, Angelita, and Sariel the entire time. It was heartbreaking and painful to see what Bez had to force Angelita into. The fight scenes with Bez and the enemy were nothing short of amazing. Sariel and Bez instant chemistry was explosive. Serial is strong and tough just the type of she-wolf Bez needs. Even though Bez has never been in a relationship and made some mistakes Sariel and Angelita were there to tell him how he messed up. I need to down load more of this series..

I’m Melanie Jayne and I write Romance featuring older characters because Love doesn’t stop at 35. I currently have 3 contemporary series: Cameron Farms with is small town based and a little more serious, The Change Series which has an element of suspense and is fast-moving, and The Casino Nights which is based in a Las Vegas Casino and is the hottest of my series.

I live on a grain farm in Central Indiana with my long-suffering hubby and two spoiled Mastiffs, Duncan Keith and Ginger. I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up- I’d done Retail Management, Worked for a Federal Judge, done In Home Loan Closings, and been behind the scenes in a Casino. I have great stories but little passion for the positions.

I love to read, follow TMZ and adore trashy TV.

When and Why did you start to write?

I grew up telling stories. My paternal grandparents were writers so it was encouraged. In college I was told by an instructor that I had no talent so I stopped. I was 45 when a friend suggested that I try writing romance. I had some ideas so I sat down and tried to organize my thoughts. Then I started taking classes and reading books on writing. It took 5 years to publish my first book.

What is the most surprising thing you have found out with the writing process?

Compared to the entire business- putting the words down is one of the easiest parts. The Marketing, Publishing Schedules and Travel take up so much time. In mid-January, I am already planning for 2018.

What are you working on now?

You Always, book 2 in the Cameron Farms Trilogy will be out 1-26-17 so I’m doing last minute marketing. Best, book 3 in the Change Series is with the editor, and I’m writing book 3 in the Casino Nights series called Long Shot. Plus I’m packing for the Coastal Magic Convention in Daytona the first weekend of February and making hotel reservations for the summer signings.

When writing are you a pantser or plotter?

I’m a total Plotter. I have an outline with dialog, fashion, and music notations. I break down my writing based on the outline and instead of a word count, I use the scene breaks.

I’m not against changes coming- in my book Best, I had planned for Tye to fall in love with Holly but somehow Billie entered the scene and he fell in love with her instead. This change caused me extra work but I went where the story took me.

I have been working on an Urban Fantasy for years, currently the outline is 45 pages long. When and if I ever get the time (and the headspace) to write this dark series – I’ll be able to rock.
