I received this book from the author for an honest review.

EEEP.  I finished book 1 and jumped right into book 2.  Jett and Presley are a great couple to read….yes you wanna kick their butts every now and again buuuut a fun couple none the less.

The book starts right where the novella stops.  We see Jett and Presley dealing with the news about her marriage to another less then famous rocker Lennon.  Jett is still uber caveman, alpha over his new woman but he is ok with what she hid from him.  Presley is all in with Jett.  She never thought she would agree to date another rocker but Jett is NOT Lennon.

This book our couples faces A LOT of drama  We see them doing a good job coping, fighting, making up and then trying to figure out the next step.  I really liked Presley because she put Jett in his place.  She was honest with his bandmates and manager Tom.  She was only there for Jett.  She could care about anything else.  Her job was him and how to help him along.  She was always telling Jett what he didnt want to hear and sometimes this caused friction BUT she was never untrue to her character. Jett is a romantic at heart but at times his fear of loss made him do things that made us and Presley sad.  However, true to form out rocker would come back and grovel like the best of them!!  LOL

The band mates are awesome guys. I cant wait to read West’s story but I really want to know more about Van.  What the heck is up with him and his anger with Jett????

I received this book for an honest review.

OMG!!  HAWT HAWT HAWT!!  I am a giant fan of this series and these authors.  I loved Kil and Claire’s stories but have loved the additional side characters stories as well.  When we got a glimpse of these three in then Vegas Anthology, I was fanning myself!!  WOWZERS and yummy!!

Drake, Tolly and Fletcher are a combustible MFM trio.  Drake and Fletchers are “brothers from another mother” and they both meet and set their sights on Natalia AKA Tolly.  She is the perfect woman for them.  We see how they “get together” in the Vegas anthology but now it has a couple weeks after the fact and Tolly is freaking out.  I mean these guys are EVERY WOMAN’S DREAM so why would they want her??  Plain and simple frump girl?   I loved how they went to force a confrontation out of Tolly…I was cracking up.  These guys were soooo outta place and super uncomfortable but the will endure anything for their future and that is what Tolly is…their future!!

Tolly loves these guys but her family is not having it.  Her insecurities will not let her be happy and then neither will their other one night stands…they remind Tolly of what she isn’t and what they are…BEAUTIFUL, ELEGANT and PERFECT.  Hey thanks Tolly’s ex Gavin for the mind games!   You’re a peach!!

When the trio finally gives it a 110% all in, someone steps forward to shatter the HEA for the group.  The remaining 2 are left lost and confused.  Will they ever get back to the happy they had or was it all an illusion?

I wanted to kick Tolly’s butt in the beginning because she was soooooooooo unsure of herself but then when I saw her growth from the love of her men …at the gala…. yeah that showdown was awesome but the final show down at the end of the book had my heart so happy.

I loved the guys and just like Tolly I loved them both for different reasons.  They both bring love and warmth to her but they also provided her with some much more.

A bit about me…

I’ve been hooked on books since I was a kid but it got worse in my twenties, when I discovered romances–the hotter, the better. Growing up in Southern California, with lots of surfer manliness surrounded me, was certainly a good boost for reading about delicious alpha guys and the women who adore them. When I learned I had a knack for telling these stories too, I guess you could say I was doomed–though my path toward romance novelist took a few detours via a concert-reviewing gig for my college newspaper (free show tickets…backstage passes…that was a no-brainer), artist interviews for a Beverly Hills dance music mag, personal assistant work for a record producer, dance club disc jockey, and a lot of fun in the hospitality industry.

These days, I still live in California, and have found an amazing alpha guy of my own who was brave enough to marry me. We live on a street that looks like Brigadoon, with our beautiful daughter. I have the best life ever, and never forget to thank the Big Guy Upstairs for it, either.

I purchased this book one because it has two authors I enjoy reading, Teresa Gableman and Nina Levine, plus it is for a good cause.  I was also introduced to two more authors I have never read before, A.C. Baxtor and SR Grey.  I enjoyed and devoured all four small town short stories.

I loved the country story of Teresa Gableman Blind Faith. Julie was brought in to help Clay’s brother Bo learn to deal with his blindness. This is a great love story of quite shy girl having a crush on the jock in high school only to meet up years later. The connection between Clay and Julie was awesome. Bo put up a heck of a fight but the shy quiet school girl was stronger than Clay thought. I would love to hear more about Bo and Juile’s sister.

Her Kind of Crazy by Nina Levine was wonderful. Juliette knows what she wants in life she has a 10 year plan and nothing will distract her. Until she stumbles into Tanner Brady (darn high heels) and he just may have put a kink in her plan. Loved the connection between Juliette and her sister, she is always there to make Juliette stop and think about things. The relationship between her and Ana was great she was more than an employer she was a friend. No matter how professional Juliette tried to be Ana treated her more like a BFF. Juliette was determined not to let anything derail her from her 10 year plan especially a hot “bad boy” with tattoos. However, Tanner was determined to change that. I so hope we get more of Tanner in the future.

Summer’s Bay by A.C. Bextor was a first for me by this author. Ryleigh is set to marry her high school sweetheart who happens to be the brother of her first crush and man that broke her heart. You can see the disconnect the entire time between Ryleigh and her fiancé, Myles, and the connection that is between Ryleigh and Chase. I wanted to shake Ryleigh so many times to just admit what she really wanted not what she thought she had to do.

SR Grey’s Kiss, Interrupted was the first kiss gone wrong and funny. Brooks was the shy girl all her life and had never been kissed. She found the perfect guy she wanted her first kiss to be with. It happens to be another counselor at the camp, Sebastian.  Only problem is night after night something happens and their kiss gets derailed.  The antics of the kids, especially one little boy, in the camp were great.

If you have never read any of these authors this is a great way to be introduced to them. All the stories were good and they were quick reads.  Plus it is for a good cause.

I received this book from NetGalley for a Review.
WOW OK this was a bit darker then I was expecting. I like Dark but I dunno that I was really ready for the dark place that Sawyer took me……I mean I knew that the book was about and what happened to the main character in the beginning of the story but YOWZERS!! I kinda hurt my tender soul a little for the character……Sela…Omg what she does for revenge……The heroine puts herself through so much for revenge on what happens to her.
I really can’t give a lot away because this book is so deep and twisted and dark and will destroy your soul a little bit but trust me it’s a good destroying..LOL You will not be able to put this book down. You will need to keep reading because Sela falls for the worst man of all and we need to know WTF is going to happen. What is going on? How can this end? Will this end badly…of course it will end badly who are we kidding!!!
I was hoping with my happy HEA white light heart that Beck and Sela will come out unscathed but lets be honest…THIS is not a happy romance story people. Its dark and brutal.
Will I read book 2…OMG YES…Will I be prepared to be destroyed even more? OMG YES YES YES
