I purchased this book.

I LOVED PETER!!  I mean I have loved him since meeting him in the Broderick series.  You do not have to read the Broderick series to read this book OR the following books in the series BUT I highly suggest it so you understand the relationships.

Peter…he is the best alpha.  He loves his pack and those he deems pack like the witches in the Broderick coven.  He is fierce in protecting those he loves.  He is happy with his life, but he yearns for his mate.  He is happy for Brandy and her siblings but…yeah why can’t he find HERE!!!  Our calm cool alpha is outta his mind lately and he is not sure WHY. He can’t focus and is just hot tempered which is not Peter.  When the pack and the coven go to save some women, he is beyond mad to see his mate there…in the room of abused and battered women AND a sister to Claudia.

Rosalie is the brave one of the group.  She has done lots of things that many would find disgusting to survive abuse and horrors.  When she realizes they are being rescued and its by her sister, she is overjoyed and then…..she sees him.  The large wolf is her mate. She is scared given she has seen how alpha tend to treat women.

Rosie and Peter have a lot to overcome but Peter becomes more the man we know and love.  He is doing everything to make sure she knows she is safe and wanted no matter what she as been through.  He is doing everything to put her at ease to him and his caring.  The waters these two navigate was pretty wicked at times but Peter never faulters.  GUYS I loved him even more!!!  GAH!!  PETER!!!

I am so excited for this series and absolutely love that the Brodericks are just as front and center in this series as Peter’s pack was in their story.  But I really wanna know whats up with Xander but Lea and Joel!! EEEEP!!!!

I cannot wait!!

I purchased this book.

My heart is beating double time for Peter. He is the most understanding and patient Alpha I have read in a while.  To be able to contain the wolf within him after meeting his mate because she needs time to heal. Who wouldn’t want that in a mate and Alpha?

Rosalie was taken as a young girl she was beaten and abused but she found a way to survive. When she and the other women were saved, she found her mate. She struggled with what happened to her all those years and did not believe she was the right mate for an Alpha. She not only found her mate but was reunited with her sister and wow had things really changed for her.

I loved how Peter needed to make sure all the women were safe and protected. He made sure they got the counseling they needed. He also made it clear by his actions and words that they were all free, no longer imprisoned and could make their own choices.

I enjoyed seeing Rosalie become the leader she was born to be. She knows how to plan a weekend of fun, let loose herself and have a good time with her new pack.  I fell in love with this pack and I’m intrigued with the witches in this one.  I think I need to go back and read all the Broderick series. I did find the myself wanting to know more about the alpha of another pack just by one phone call conversation with Peter.  I am intrigued by many of the pack members and ready to see them find their mates.

Too bad nothing is ever as it seems.

I’m back in Hill Crest, and it looks like I may have made an enemy last time I was in town.

I’m supposed to lie low, but when a long-time friend of dad comes looking for help to find his missing wife, I have a very hard time telling him no.

As if finding a missing woman wasn’t enough, I’m starting to think I might be haunted. Add in three men that want to finish what we started years ago and I’m thinking my dance card might be a little over booked.

Wow wow wow what away to wrap up this series. I was super excited to get this book because in Book 1, Blythe was such a mega snot I wanted to know more about her bitch ass.  LOL

But I gotta admit, as I read this book, I really didn’t like, nor did I connect with her. She is a bitch. Period.  I mean I didn’t find anything about her that I was like “Ok I get it now”.  She was very into her own wants and wishes everyone else be damned.

The guys in the book I loved.  They all were great and cared so much for her and put up with a lot with her.  They never ever stopped caring or pushing for more.  They even wanted to protect her from someone who they knew wasn’t a good person.

I guess I wish there was a bit more into the relationships between Blythe and the guys because most of the story was about her and not the guys.  The sexy times with the guys were good but I just felt it was flat as far as their love story goes.  I LOVE Brandy’s books so this one kinda took me by surprise that I didn’t love it like I have all the others.

It did a good job showing the ladies in the bookclub bonding and moved the arc along for their future books but yeah…..

I absolutely loved the first book in this series. Really a group of women who don’t know each other come together in a book club.  These women strike up a friendship where even with their flaws they still band together and support one another. I was curious about Blythe in the first book and was so excited to learn more about her. She seemed to be blunt and opinionated at times. I was ready to find out what made her tick and wanted to know what made her Blythe. I was a bit disappointed when I didn’t connect with her like I wanted. However, oh boy did I connect with her guys and I loved getting to see a little more of her book club friends (yes I say friends even if Blythe may not see it that way).

I loved how everyone rallied around her the guys and her book club girls. Never giving up on her and always there no matter what her mood was or how snooty she got. Only true fiends and loves can look past your flaws and love you unconditionally no matter what.  I enjoyed seeing the ladies bond get stronger as the book went on. No matter how much distance she put between the guys and her they were always there for her and always had her back even if she didn’t know it or see it.

I do enjoy this series and love the concept of it. I am excited to see who the next book will be about and see these ladies bond grow even more.

 I purchased this book.

 I met the main characters, Steel and Dell, a longtime ago when I read the spin off series : Steel MC Montana Charter.  SOOOO I knew all about steel and Dell but I didn’t know the road to their HEA.  When I met Wren, I had to buy the books since I am head over heels in love with the other series, she co-writes with Michel Prince.  I have been sitting on these books until just NOW because LIFE…ya know.

I have to say I had a rough time reading these books due to the time jumps that aren’t explained util mid-way through a chapter.  I also had issue with some of the messiness of the chapters.  It seemed a bit choppy initially to me when reading.  I was really struggling even at 35% into the book.  I will say the flow seemed to get better more towards the end of the book but if I wasn’t already invested in these characters from another series I might had not finished reading.

Steel is a bit of a man whore and a bit of a DB.  I am being real here people.  He loves Dell and always had but he isn’t about to sit and wait for her to come to him.  Dell is a hot mess since her husband left and knows Steel wants her and she him but again GUILT.  It’s a hard thing.

But when Dell does come to him, he is a mega dick.  Like I would have nut punched him.  Given I know how awesome he is later, it made me sad/angry to see him this way.  But Dell is a mess of contradictions.  She doesn’t want any responsibilities but then is running all the MC Hoez and such.  So again…..Choppy and makes your head spin at how on again and off again she is.

Essentially these two have a whole city block worth’s of history to deal with and right when you think they might make a connection, Dell is kidnapped and the MC is going to get her.

I really wanted to love this book but found it hard to read and follow initially.  I really really wanna read book 2 because I know these characters from the spin off and want to see the road to their HEA. 

Wren grew up in the Northern part of the USA. She enjoys spending time with family, curling up with a good book, coloring in her adult books and driving motorcycles, big trucks and fast cars to relieve stress after a busy week.

Born in a large family she is all about family values and morals.

Wren’s friends and family will agree she is never far from a pen and paper as she finds so many things in the world peak her interest and can inspire an entire story.

Lincoln ends up finding himself in a situation where he needs a wingman so to speak. With Avery pretending to be his wife so doesn’t get hit on by a business partner’s wife, things take a turn for better. Pretending to be husband and wife, definitely increases their attraction they have for each other. Until it gets to the point where they can’t do anything but consumate their fake marriage.

Throw in some sweetness, mixed with some spice and steam, and you get a quick, hot little read for those cool nights.
