We are back with our lead couple, Indie and Lux, who run Cirque Du Desir. They are the King and Queen and everyone knows it.

We’re also introduced to Johnny a little bit as well and I have to say and I can’t believe I’m saying this especially when you read about him, but I was very happy whenever I read his chapters. So much so that I can’t wait to read his Christmas book. Johnny and Christmas doesn’t sound like it should go together.

This book is everything you could ask for in a horror erotica. Between lots of bloodshed, super hot intense times, and moments that make you question on why you like it, it’s definitely a must read if you enjoy the darker side of things.

When Lux, Indie, Johnny and the rest of the cirkies, create a night they hoped for and more, things take a twisted unhinged turn.

Ok this book was awesome! I came across it in a book group I’m in and boy am I ever glad I decided to give it a shot. It’s so cringe and off the wall but I loved it! It was definitely a nice break from the heavy stuff I’ve been reading and writing. AND it’s a nice change and takes you out of life stuff in general.

So we meet Lyric (I love this name by the way), who is desperate to find her true love but she doesn’t think it’ll ever happen.

After speaking with her friend who gives her a way to make her book boyfriend come to life, she does it and it works! But there’s a catch. They don’t have long together. So she has to do whatever she can to make sure they can stay together forever.

The descriptive word choices for…uh…things had me rolling. I couldn’t stop laughing. But at the same time, it was also super hot.

This book is short and filthy, with the most asinine ways you could ever think of to describe things and I absolutely loved every bit of it.

Ok first off, like the author says, this book is DARK. So if you have trigger warnings or if you’re unsure if you do, stay clear of this one.

Second, I absolutely loved this one! It’s dark, beyond hot and downright filthy. I would just like to say right away that I’m glad this book isn’t a standalone. I want more of Lux and Indie.

Lux is broken and lost. He runs a circus where nothing is off limits, you don’t get judged and you can have all of your deepest darkest desires taken care of.

Indie and her friends head to this circus for a night of fun but Indie wasn’t expecting the untouchable man, Lux, to be interested in her.

Lux thinks Indie is pure and shouldn’t want him and definitely shouldn’t be in a place like Cirque du désir. But even Indie knows that there’s something about the circus, especially him, that pulls her in. She wants to explore that dark side of Lux more but he refuses.

When he finally gives in, things are explosive between them.

After Indie has to deal with a situation at home, the two meet up again but I have a feeling that all isn’t as cozy as they think it is.

I think more blood will be shed as the series goes on.

I guess we’re about to find out! On to book 2!

Fun mix of humor and magic with just the right amount of mystery and suspense and the perfect pinch of a love twist.

I listened to One Tequila via Audible while I was sick. Needless to say, I needed a pick me up. When I read the synopsis, I knew it was right up my alley.

At first, it seemed to move a tad too slow for me. But in full disclosure, I don’t do well with audiobooks as I generally prefer to read over listen. However, I was always left with just enough that I kept wondering what was going to happen next. I had to keep listening. Althea had me hooked. She had herself in the middle of quite a mess. If something could happen to her, it was going to happen to her. And her friends, witchy and the norms, made the story all the better. The ending had a twist that I did not see coming and had me literally saying OMG. I laughed at places I probably shouldn’t have and found myself fully enjoying One Tequila!

I am looking forward to seeing what other shenanigans Althea Rose and her friends can get into!

Meg and Michael wanted some time alone with Michael house sitting for different coworkers, and Meg being at her parent house there was no time for just them. Well one rough ferry ride to Meg’s aunts’ cabin is just what they needed. A tropical storm, being surprised by Meg’s entire family at the cabin they were all trapped together still not alone, stuck on an island with a bunch of bird watchers, a grumpy unwelcomed homeowner, and a dead body what else could go wrong. Sometimes wanting to get away can be a bigger pain then staying put. also, who spots the most puffins on the island. this was such a interesting and hilarious read the birders just make it that much funnier.

holy moly where do i begin, there are a few fires that defiantly needed to be put out while reading this book. OMG so idk how much I can explain how great this book is. so, trust me if you weren’t sure about reading this book and don’t want to fall into the hype of this world DO IT. She has no choice and goes to the riders’ class at the beginning of the new year. Oh Snap, CC was just your normal high school girl, and loved everything Halloween, the whole town did actually think of it as Halloweentown they went all out carnival the school put on and so much more. Just when she thought it was a normal night CC was having some strange things happening her pool for the duck pond at the carnival one minute it was empty because it fell over and the next its full, she wanted to raise her grade and one snap and the toughest teacher made a mistake on the classes’ grades, and much more. CC was just wanting her bad luck to stop but she got so much more with the help of her bestie Erza, CC was going to get a snap snap reality check. ugh this was so cute and perfect cozy read for spooky season.

CC just had her life turned upside down and when she needed answers, her grandpa left for a few days and now there is a mysterious new student that seems to know more about her then she does. Xavier appears to be the person that holds the key to Cecilia’s past and her newfound witchiness. His touch helps the pain go away, now her best friend isn’t allowed to be around her and when he’s near her, her body feels like it’s on fire. this is something she never seen coming and now she’s having to figure it all out on top of trying to be a normal teenager. Will CC get the answers she’s been waiting for or will she still be in the dark. Also, you won’t see that ending coming till it smacks u in the face. I’m so invested in CC life now I feel like I’m right there next to her going through it as well.

Danielle Keil grew up and spent the majority of her life in the Chicagoland area. A recent transplant, she is enjoying the Mississippi life, especially the pool in her backyard.
Danielle is happily married for over 10 years, and has two young children, a daughter and a son, who are exact replicas of her and her husband.

Honey found herself at the local bar to sing some karaoke and have a few drinks, she found herself thinking it was her turn to sing, and it wasn’t it was a very good-looking man, singing her song. she found herself stuck on him and drowning in his voice, they meet, and he wants her name Honey has 2 rules when she goes out 1) no names and 2) no hooks-up, but she then finds herself breaking her rules and in the sheets with this mystery military man. after 3 years of being away from home and a divorce later Honey was moving back to the small town, she always considered Honey finds herself back in Magnolia Grove for her bestie’s grandmother’s funeral and she wasn’t not going to show up for her. home. Honey still can’t get her mind off of her one night stand she never does that but with it had been 3 years it was definitely a wild night she knew she would never see the mystery man again, well she didn’t think she would until she heard his magical voice in no other place then behind the pudendum at Sunday service and he’s the preachers son. Honey is traumatized and Mr. preacher man is just as shocked, sermons, and trying to get Honey’s heart is what he’s working on being back in the small town, will he be able to pray and get into her heart or will the devil get to it first. this was a very slow start with a lot of repeating in the first few chapters but then it started picking up and was good.

Gail Haris believes in fairytales, love, and laughter as the best medicine. She has somewhat of a warped charm.

Another heart is set on fire in the station as Silas found himself at the bar after a rough call and spotted a gorgeous girl setting up her set that the March brothers had for entertainment at their bar. Kara is a nanny by day and an up-and-coming county singer after all that’s why she moved to Nashville, she wants her dream to come true, but she knows it’s a cutthroat industry but that’s it could be all worth it in the end. But even though she was warned in a joking manner that some of the firefighters that come into the bar can be trouble Silas wasn’t one that she was warned about. Will these two get the chance to write a beautiful love song everyone wants to hear, or will the lyrics be full of fire and hate, follow their journey through the flames of their relationship and what happens when the sirens go off.

Lauren Runow is the author of multiple Adult Contemporary Romance novels, some more dirty than others. When Lauren isn’t writing, you’ll find her listening to music, at her local CrossFit, reading, or at the baseball field with her boys. Paged out for another crazy call propane tanks, fireworks, lots of possible explosives at a local market. Asher and the rest of station 47 are on the scene and when Asher and Hawk find a woman under some flower crates she was alive but her PTSD from her past is hitting full force. Sienna was running from her past trying to hide from her abusive ex even though he’s in jail, she’s still afraid he’s going to find her and kill her. she was giving a fresh start from a local woman who had been in her shoes at one point in her life and wanted to help Sienna get back on her feet. Now she’s being saved by Asher and Hawk and her flashbacks are overwhelming her. Can she overcome her past without giving away her truth, it one door closed but not forever type of life for her and its frighting. Between these two with Ashers past battles with his time in the military, and Sienna’s past with her ex will they be the key to help comfort the other and help overcome the trauma from the past that still haunts them. For me this was a bit slower pace and between the flashbacks and the present it got a little jumbled where I had to go back to be like oh this was in the past, but it was still a great read.
