Her objective is to get this information to the right people and ultimately save the cyborgs. When these two meet you can feel the connection right away. They have a slow burn type of chemistry. One absolutely worth waiting for. He knows something is off with her but can’t put his finger on it. One thing leads to another and BAM! Their lives have been slammed together and now both of them are in danger. 

In true Ava fashion there is quite a bit of snark and sass with some seriously hawt scenes. Believe me, you don’t want to miss any of that. One of the things I loved most about the story is that it wasn’t predictable. It consumes you because the conspiracies are crazy and when you see how things change at the drop of a dime it keeps you turning the pages. Add a little MadDog2020 and the mention of toilet paper hoarding and you’ve got yourself an awesome story! No, seriously. These are mentioned and were perfect additions (so now you totally have to read it because you have to know if it’s true!) but the love story that occurs is breathtaking. A sort of Beauty and the Beast scenario, if you will, with a wonderful happily ever after. However, the real zinger is near the end. There are a few characters that are going to become big players in this trilogy and I can’t wait for the next. Bring it on!

First and foremost, I have loved all the shifters in the Black Mountain Pack. Each time I read one I think that it is my absolute favorite. I think that I love them all differently as each one is so different but their stories all overlap. I really enjoy how each one has their own journey and path with each one intertwining into the next. Stephen’s journey is no different but I think it is deeper than some of the others. Stephen is pulled from his pack to go on a journey with Adele. This is a journey of self discovery as he is coming into his Omega powers. On top of this he finds his true mate. The only thing is, they have been connecting in the dream world and things get real shifty when they finally meet in person. Harper is a strong, independent woman and the daughter of the true Alpha who is deceased. The new alpha is power hungry and has a claim on Harper because of her status. Stephen and Harper cannot announce they are mates at this time because of the turmoil in her pack and the new power hungry alpha, Halister. Her pack has also not seen a true mate in many years and thinks it’s all myths and legends now. Things really go haywire when Harper is kidnapped by a rival pack who wants to use her as leverage for her mate’s omega powers. 

Stephen and Harper’s story will suck you in from the start. It is fast paced with no dull moments. From the craziness of the power hungry alpha to the sexual angst between Stephen and Harper to the insanity of Harper’s captors….it just keeps going and going and going….This story does not disappoint and is an absolute must read!

When I met Stephen I was so in love with is strong persona.  I loved meeting him in Wyatt’s book and so looked forward to him getting his HEA plus learning about the Omega power he was given.

Stephen and Harper’s love story is full of twists and turns with rival alphas and wars brewing.  They sure don’t have an easy time of its for sure.  The two also meet under unusual circumstances from Stephen’s Omega abilities.  I have to say I loved the way the two meet and already start to form their true mate bond.

Stephen has been lucky to live with a happy pack and Harper had until….her alpha is killed and another alpha is forcing his will upon her to be his mate.  Harper is much loved by her pack mates so she is doing everything she can to help save her pack while NOT losing herself in the process.

Stephen is so confused.  His heart says to rush in and save his mate but with his Omega abilities he must learn to walk that fine line of safety and protection for all even if his mate is not safe.

Seeing the two work together and build a relationship of trust which soon turns to love and respect was amazing.  I gotta say I am kinda looking Marcus over and wondering if he will be getting a book because he suuuuure is up my ally!!!

The story has you prepared to go one way and then BOOM another plot twist was thrown in the story.  I was like WHOA!!  Good one Miranda!!

Basically, what I am trying to say without giving away any part of this awesome plot is, you need to read some Stephen.  All you Wyatt lovers like me will be excited to see him and Natalie return.  I love seeing those two and seeing their love story further evolving!!

Love me some mermen! I love the premise of this story! Rubi is a hot freaking mess. She is on a singles cruise, gets a bit tipsy, and falls off the ship. She has chalked it that she is going to die. She wakes up in a swanky room with three incredibly handsome men. She thinks she had a crazy one night stand and is still on the cruise ship. Oh the things she feels and how she reacts to finding out that the three handsome men are actually cursed meren….and her mates….and then finding out about her true past! Oh the list goes on and on. She is the hope for these mermen to break the curse and bring life back to their realm. Then she realizes just how comfortable and at home she is. She is to be their queen, but has absolutely no queen-ish mannerisms. She is an absolute riot! Her hunky mermen all have crazy different personalities and each one worships her like the queen that she is. You really get to see their love for each other when other characters are introduced. 

I was immediately sucked in with Rubi and her sarcasm. Then there are the three Z’s (the handsome mermen) and their crazy different personalities with all of their hotness. Smush this all together and you have a wonderful new world, full of intense love, laughter, and some hawt sexy time. Oh, and don’t let me forget the action. There are monsters out there that are full of hatred and nastiness. The battle between good and evil is never ending. I love how this story ended and am looking forward to the next in this series.

Soul Redemption starts right where Soul Rebel left off. Nolan and Charity haven’t had much time together and they are still learning about each other. Nolan is not feeling like himself. He thought they broke the Succubus curse, but maybe not. As Nolan is trying to figure this out, he goes on a ride with the Rebel Riders to check out some moonshine making vampires in the bayou. He finds that he has some things in common with Kovah, one of the Rebel Riders. Between dealing with the possibility of having vampire traits and having a new love with Charity, Nolan can’t seem to catch a break. After another unexpected trip to New Orleans, this time with Kovah, Eva rears her ugly head to Charity and then things get crazy. 

Very similar to the first story, this is fast paced with great camaraderie for some fun times. There is never a dull moment with this story. I did not see the turns that the story took and it kept me on my toes. The banter between Kovah and Nolan is great and I absolutely loved being able to get to know Kovah better. And the end! OMG the end! I just can’t even begin to give you a hint on how this ends without giving it away. By the time the story was over I was beside myself and in need of more!

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

I seriously LOVE this series.  I love how the series is ever evolving.  The addition of the Bad guys who are really bad guys was great reading.

When the book starts, we know Margery has had it rough.  To see her fear the good guys saving her but also worry for the young and the hurt lets you see inside her soul.    She is blessed with the Mothers Goodness.  She truly is a healer in her own right.

When we see her striking out on her own after realizing her new pack was not the right pack for her or any woman, it was great to see her embrace her new life in the Zeb and Shay and Alec and Colum.  Plus, revisiting with the old pack pairings is always fun times.

Littlermates and total opposites Donal and Tynan are happy to finally be together again after 10 years.  They know they are going to live their life together and Tynan hopes take a mate together.  Donal is not so into the whole mate thing.  He can’t imagine any women keeping his attention for that long.  Plus, all the women are more interested in his title vs the man.

The men see Margery, and both are interested.  Unfortunately, Donal takes the word of the wrong people and won’t give her the time of day.  Tynan is not as interested in others words and falls head over heals for the stubborn and unsure wolf.  When he makes sure to be her mentor, he helps her overcome some deep scars.

As the novel continues, we see Donal realize what an idiot he is and run headfirst into a time with Margery.  Tynan and her bond is strong and now she is bonding with the town healer as well.

We see some of her past come into play, more bad guys come, stupid males being stupid, and jealous women causing issues.

I admit I really want a book for Oliver.  Margery’s brother seems so lost a good HEA could totally do him well!!

Another hilarious installment from Teresa in her Robyn Peterman Universe.

I love that each book could be read as a standalone but let’s be honest, you need to read them all in order to fully get the situation and previous interactions of the characters.

This book we finally get to see a bit of Wicked’s very deeply hidden past.  We learn where she cam from and the witches she grew up with.  They are not the nicest witches when they are dark witches.

We see hottie shifter Thorne protecting his family from a threat to Wicked, Rose and Jamison’s futures…PURRR he is a yummy alpha male for sure!!

We see Bruce making epic boo boos knocking up a random cat….makes ya wonder if Bruce the man whore familiar will settle down???  DOUBTFUL but it would be fun to see.

Honestly, I just love this short novel and all the smiles it brings.  If you need a laugh or ten then this series is for you and each edition adds to the hilarity.

It seemed a little odd to Ezekiel that there were only a handful of people in the place but then again, he didn’t know just how far off the map he’d wandered. He sauntered to the bar and plopped down on a stool. Ordering a beer from the bartender he glanced around. A chill ran up his spine. Every set of eyes in the bar were focused on him. A couple guys grinned at him like he was prey.

It was then that he caught sight of something sharp and pearly white in the glow of the neon.

A pair of fangs. Fuck.

“What is it with you guys and bars, huh? I always pictured that you would be more wine and cheese snobs than canned beer and pretzels,” he questioned.

The two playing pool chuckled as they set their pool sticks down on the felt covered surface and prowled towards him. The one on the left, with black rumpled hair, untucked dress shirt, and wrinkled dress slacks smirked at him. “We guys? You act as if you know us?”

Ezekiel rose to his feet, nudging his beer aside. He scanned for exits other than glass doors. There were none. This place had to violate at least a dozen fire codes. Did they have fire codes in the backwoods? “I know your kind. You have distant cousins in Minnesota that are making my family’s life a living hell right now.”

The vampires frowned and the one dressed like he had left his soul at the office gave a hardy sniff to the stale air of the bar. He shrugged. “You wouldn’t be the first werewolf I’ve drained dry. Your blood tastes like shit, though.”

“Great to know.”

Before Ezekiel could drop into stance to defend himself, the bell on the door tinkled a greeting. The entire room turned to see who had walked in. He cursed under his breath. His odds weren’t great as it was and now, he had to defend someone?

Except there was no one there but a small puddle on the floor left by the storm outside. A second later two of the vampires closest to the door dropped to their knees, writhing in pain.

That was when Ezekiel saw her. Jet black hair flowed down past her ivory face and down her back. Eyes so dark they could have been mistaken as violet glanced at him. Her whole body, garbed in black, stiffened at the sight of him.

It was the woman in his dreams, the one that had made him jack off so many times before he hit the road on this trip. His cock stiffened at the sight of her. It was a really bad time for a hard-on.

“Take cover,” she demanded.

Ezekiel smiled at her, reassuringly. “I’ve got this, sweetheart.”

He bit back a groan as the two pool playing vampires charged him. For a moment, he thought the distraction was going to fuck up his fighting style. As one body thudded on top of the other, he let out a sigh of relief.

“Do you not like being called sweetheart?” he countered.

Welcome to the Land of Misfit Toys…only for Monsters. I loved the concept of this story and was sucked right in once I read the blurb. I am rounding this up to 4 because there were some really amazing parts of the story. I started the book and was completely engrossed, I mean completely sucked in. We start right when Nina is escaping a hell hole. She is blind but can see through other’s eyes. She has been held captive from a very young age. When the author puts in the blurb “ Be prepared to enjoy a painfully naive female main character who slowly grows as the book progresses…”, this is exactly what you will get. Nina is smart but really is painfully naive and at times I had to roll my eyes at just how dense she was. But we get beyond this, she is being framed for a murder she didn’t commit and is deposited in Nightmare Penetentiary, a labryinth prison for paranormal criminals. Little does she know, her best friend, Kai, who was imprisoned with her in the hell hole she escaped from, ends up being king of the prison she is deposited in. But from here we meet all of his comrades, right hand men, lackeys, whatever you want to call them. They are all equally as twisted and insane as the next but all very different from one another. The one thing they have in common is Nina. They are all drawn to her. Here is where the book lost me for a bit…We have to get to know her harem. Which is great and what we need to do but some of it took much more time than needed and sometimes felt a little unnecessary to the story itself. I was expecting more of the “action” and “story” while getting to know these crazy men with all their hawtness and alpha crazy coming out, but it seemed like the “action” and “story” were put on hold while getting to know them. However, the storyline amps back up again and takes you into a lot of “WTFs” and “where the hell did that come from?” type of stuff. So, it indeed drew me back in and turned out to have some crazy twists and turns that I needed. Although this isn’t one of my absolute favorites, I did enjoy the story and am intrigued enough to check out other stories from this author.

Soul stealing succubus! I love this story! It was a fast, fun and steamy read. I absolutely recommend it! We start with Nolan, our super cute, motorcycle riding, tatted up, good guy that is ready to pop the question to his girlfriend. Nooooooo! Here is mistake number one. When he discovers that it’s a mistake, his friends finally talk him into checking out a new club. Here is where things go badly… Nolan is completely enraptured by Eva, the hot chick in VIP. They spend a little time together, nothing crazy, and then he is sent on his way. Then things really go wonky. He is approached by the supernatural police and is told that Eva is a succubus and has taken his soul. He has seven days to kill her to stop from becoming a vampire. Wow! This sucks! Then all sorts of crazy starts. He is such a great guy that he can’t even think about killing someone, let alone the succubus that essentially stole his life. Ok, so I loved that this was about a succubus. Not just a regular vampire with a blood exchange, blah, blah, blah. A succubus has been thrown in and she has a TWIN! The plot gets juicy! Nolan ends up enlisting Eva’s twin, Charity, to help him figure out a way to stop the change. Charity is human and loves her sister. She wants to believe that her sister wants to do right. But as you can imagine, Eva is just a succubus with no soul. Nolan and Charity go to New Orleans and encounter many different “people” along with Eva. What I love is that you can see the romance blossoming between Nolan and Charity. Two people that you can just see are meant for each other even though everything is going to hell in a handbasket and very quickly. Oh! And Archie, Nolan’s boss, has a big secret revealed, so you have to read this! It will all make sense, promise. This review feels really jumbled for me… and probably for you… but it’s because there are so many things that happen, and they happen quickly, that suck you in from start to finish. I can’t give anymore spoilers. What I can tell you is that once you start this story, you won’t be able to put it down. It is fast paced, action packed, with a super sweet love story weaved throughout. I have already one-clicked the second book. What can I say? I couldn’t wait!
