I received this book from the author for an honest review.

Shut up!!  This book was so funny.  I love the comedy Teresa puts in her books because it’s comedy you might have with a friend in real life.  Her characters are so real that they could BE your friends.

Jade is in a heap of trouble thanks to her little brother running off THE pixie Princess of the paranormal world.  She stumbles into this paranormal agency that Dark Elf Drake works at when everything changes for her and him.

Drake takes on her role as body guard and is all about making this waitress his when the case is over.  Drake soon had to overcome his jealousy plus Jade must stop thinking of others first if this couple is going to stand a chance.  The couple are a riot to read.  The banter when they argue was hilarious!!!!

When the pixie King wants to meet and chat everything soon comes to ahead and Drake must claim Jade a lot sooner then he planned.

The last chapter was so sweet and seeing Drake coo and gush over Jade was perfect!!

Jade is a waitress that has a heart of gold and would do anything for her family and friends. She is trying to keep a promise to her dad by taking care of her younger brother. That is until he runs away with a pixie princess and now she finds herself in danger. She goes to Paranormal Protection Service to help find her brother where she finds herself face to face with Drake.

Drake is a Dark Elf that knows there is something special about Jade when she first arrives.  Things are about to change now that Drake is assigned to protect Jade. Drake knows Jade is his but can he get her to stop trying to protect everyone else and let him protect her.

Loved the banter that when on between Jade and Drake. Jade truly had a good sole she would do anything so that others wouldn’t be hurt or suffer.  I loved the humor that was in this book Rhod and Stone were the best. Drake is in protective mode even at the end of the book that door didn’t stand a chance.

I purchased this book.

I am HUGE Shifter fan and when I saw this book pop up as an attending author for a book signing I was attending, I was sold!!  I mean shifters….YUM.  I bought this book and had to wait a month before I had time to read because being a teacher at the end of the school year…yeah no time!!   When I made my list of top priority books this was number 2 on my summer reads knowing I will probably want to read the other 5 ASAP too.

So Jacks *Shiver* what a tall drink of water. AmIRight????  Holy Sweet Baby Jesus the Swagger and the smirks but his cocky arrogance was pretty much the right combo for me.

Ryleigh was the perfect blend of sweet, sassy and feisty for our heroine.  The fact her dad was going to kick Jacks ass made it even that much better!!  LOL   But the fact she could ick ass was even THAT muh more awesome.  I loved seeing her put the guys in their place when they thought she was a weak human.

The story is about some bad people trying to make shifter kids from human and shifter DNA.  Not cool and definitely not ok. Ryleigh’s Alpha Dragon Shifter adoptive father saves her, and help protects her but also helps train her for the war that is most defiantly brewing.

Ryleigh and Jacks meet when her dad asks his men to help her team of highly trained women in saving other females much like her and them.  The chemistry was instant between the two and Jacks is flipping off his rocker.  Naïve and sweet Rye is kinda a hot mess because she has never had a boyfriend so this lust thing was alllll kinds of new to her.

So the book was REALLY slow to get started.  I put it down a few times because I just wasn’t getting into it.  I know with Paranormal you have to world build but I felt a little too much at first.  It was like a meeting between the characters was forever…..like 15 chapters long.  BUT once the meeting was FINALLY adjourned, the book FLEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I was really invested and couldn’t put the book down at all.  I was reading too fast and then like DAMN its over!!!

The books had a lot of secrets, twists, turns and deceits that totally threw me each and every time.  The more we learn about the characters and their pasts, the more invested in the characters I became.  I really don’t know which guy I like the most as of right now.  They all have a spot in my heart but if I have to pick I would say it’s a tie between Jacks and Cash.  Jacks for the above reasons but Cash *Dreamy sigh* for his heartache.

First up, if you haven’t read book 1 please do so or you will miss important information as this book picks right up when the last book ended.

So Arsyn is a bit hurt, betrayed and pretty upset that her 4 hotties decided to keep her in the dark about the fact that she is the Conduit to the quad.  If that isn’t enough, this hasn’t happened in like FOREVER so yeah she is none to pleased with the guys.

As the book starts Arsyn is kidnapped by some bad dudes!!  They are Followers of the Dark.  Her hotties are doing all they can to find her.  But I wont lie, Arsyn goes through A LOT when she is kidnapped and some of it might not be reading for everyone….if you get my drift……so go into this with eyes wide open to possible stuff you might not want to read.

The guys fight to get her back but even when she returns there is a lot that needs to be worked through.  Each of the guys provide something for Arsyn..something she needs but the groups as a whole is suffering and needs to figure stuff out in a big way!!

Yes of course this is a cliffy book so be ready to wait to see what happens in the last installment of the series.

I am a huge fan of Teresa’s so if she writes it, I will read it!!  I am so loving this world she created, as I do all her worlds.  But what I really love is I can SEE these characters in any of her book series totally working together to fight the bad guys!!

Sophia AKA Karma AKA The Slayer of Vampires is one bad ass bitch!!  She has killed multiple vampires and will not stop until she kills The Savior.  She is a human who can bring strong vampires to their knees.

Axel is an assassin who was hired to kill this Slayer of Vampires.  One look at Sophia and he knows she is the one he was hired to kill, but he is an assassin with moral code???  WHU!!!???  When he turns down the job because of his code plus his VERY STRONG NEED to claim the human, this Breed male is outta his mind trying to protect her and her bestie, Darin.

Can we talk about Darin for a hot minute??  SERIOUSLY the best friend you can ever have and the funniest person ever.   I laughed out loud so many times with his banter.  #DayMade!!

Anywho, so Axel and Sophia are put in a crazy situation of him, the paid assassin, protesting her, the Slayer of Vampires!!  The chemistry between the two is pretty hawt and the anxiety they both have over trust is so real.

When the final scenes are happening, my heart was racing and breaking all at the same time!!  #PanicAttackTeresa

I would love love love to see these two appear in another of Teresa’s worlds because I think they could be great allies for the Wolves or the Warriors!!

This was a quick read that I did not want to set down. It was fast paced and full of action.

The Slayer of Vampires (AKA Karma) is on a mission to avenge her sister’s death. She will kill any vampire that gets in her way while tracking down the low life that killed her sister. The only problem is each vampire’s death brings trouble her way. There is now a bounty on her head and Axel was assigned to take her out.

Alex and “Karmas” chemistry is explosive. However, seeing them learn to trust someone and the fear of them turning on one another was a whole other level. Karma can handle her own she is an expert with the knives and guns. She really knows how to use a gun even when on a motorcycle. Axel is just good at what he does and the respect he shows to Darin made my heart beat a little harder. I love the friendship between Karma and her BFF Darin.  What can I say I loved Darin as much as I did Alex and Karma. The Viper scenes and Darin are classic.

OMG!!! If anyone knows how to write about hot Vampires it’s Teresa Gabelman.

Someone is going around town and killing vampires and now the Slayer of Vampires has a price on her head.

Sophie Deluce is looking for the vampire that killed her sister and left her stuffed next to the toilet in a public bathroom.  In doing so she has made the vampires so nervous that they put a contract out for her and assassin Axel Walker has her number, however once he she’s her and finds out her reasons he returns the money and decides to help her get her man.

I was  excepting some of Gabelman’s VC Warriors to show up, the story was so good!!!!

Sophie is one kick a** woman who needs this to get justice for her sister and no one is going to stop her.  I love how she sticks to what she wants even knowing there is a price on her head, so with the help of a half-breed assassin and her drag queen best friend she continues on her mission.

I swear Gabelman does vampires like no one else and I wouldn’t mind seeing more of Axel and Sophie.

Yay!! We finally get to my favorite mysterious shifter in the Lennox family, Luke.  Adopted into the family when he was found as a cub he is a lion shifter in a family of dragon shifters.  As a adult he is estranged from his family for the most part and lives a solitary life coming to the Lennox’s only when needed.

Georgia Mills and her shifter son Grayson were saved, from a group of people that were kidnapping and experimenting on shifters, by Luke in previous book Blackstone Wolf.

Luke and Georgia find themselves attracted to each other, but Luke doesn’t want to be around anyone not even a beautiful woman who could be his mate and her young son who needs help controlling his shifting.

Georgia knows if Luke finds out her dark secret he and everyone in Blackstone will be after her and possibly her son.

Oh my goodness, Montgomery has got writing a story about reluctant mates down pat and does a awesome job at it.

I have so been waiting for Luke’s story since book one, wanting to know what makes him tick and where he came from.  This story was so worth the wait.  

Luke and Georgia have both been through so much in their lives they are like two halves that form a whole, 

Seeing them find themselves and seeing Luke interact with Grayson is totally awesome.  A love story at it’s finest.

Plus, no Blackstone Mountain story is complete without the antishifter group making a appearance and boy do they make one in this one.

I can’t wait to see who is next to find love on Blackstone Mountain.
