Sooooo HAWT!!!!! This is a whirlwind of hot, sass, and tatts!!! We start by meeting our painted man, Talan. He is the owner of a tattoo shop and is constantly being hit on by easy women that he could take home at any time he wants. He is smitten by Maya, a girl who comes into the shop for support for a friend that is getting tatted. Maya is a small girl but takes no crap from anyone. She is witty and he is immediately pulled in by her and she by him. It’s sort of an insta-love type situation but with so much more! The wit and banter between all the characters is hilarious and keeps the story going. So full of angst and of course we have a crazy ex!!!  While the two of them are trying to figure out exactly what they are doing “together” they are both trying to reign in their feelings. She wants to go for it and he wants to go slow. But eventually the zero to sixty happens! One of my favorite lines…. “I have no words for the madness you create inside of me.” This was a fast and intense read that made me dive right into Marking Him, the second book in the series, right away! Loving me some Talan and Bitty!!!

So Savage!!!!! When I read Sweet and Savage I didn’t realize how many twists and turns there would be in the story and was hooked immediately. Then I got my hands on Savage Deception…..well, let’s just say this is no ordinary rollercoaster ride! This story revolves around Tanner Savage. While he investigating the Devil’s Breath murders his whole world is collapsing. You know the saying, if it wasn’t for bad luck I’d have no luck at all??? Yup, that pretty much sums up Tanner. When an abduction happens and there’s a murder that is all to close to home he is put right in the middle of a very intricately weaved web of deceit and lies. While reading the story I felt the need to talk to Tanner and try to guide him to his next clue, or help him talk out the scenario just so we could figure out what was going on. I felt like I was right in the middle of the story. My heart would speed up and I would get all jittery when we would find another clue. I found myself yelling at Tanner when he was just “being a guy” lol! I was right there in the middle of the story the entire time. Then in the midst of all of this Annie’s past is brought in and is delicately weaved into this beautifully orchestrated chaotic mess. There is a surprise around every curve of every tunnel. There is no shortage of surprises and twists with this story. And by the end…well, let’s just say I didn’t see that one coming. I am on pins and needles waiting to see what happens next. Bravo, Ms. Winters!!!!! Loved it!!

“Anger is a short madness.” This line sums this book up. I have to be honest. After I read the first book I just picked this one up without reading the synopsis as I wanted to be totally surprised by what I was reading. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! EPIC READ! Purgatory is a strange place. A place where you never truly die (unless by The Other Things) and it is always dusk. Never changing. Always going. In the first book we find out that Matthew is an angel and he intervened and saved Shepard and Horace, which is against the rules. He is getting antsy as a year has gone by and he still has not been punished. While waiting and waiting crazy things start happening to Shepard. This is the spoiler I will give, then no more! Shep is dreaming about people he knew and they are being dropped in Purgatory….but bad things are happening to them. They start to connect the dots and they have to figure out why this is happening. In the midst of this all Shep and Andrea have fallen in love and she has become part of their rag tag family unit at The Open. She is deaf but absolutely not dumb. And boooooyyyyy does she have a mouth on her, but it is all in her mind as she can’t talk. She absolutely fits with Shep. She is the female version of Shep only she can “say” the f bomb and the lord’s name in vain as she has to use her hands only. They way that this group interacts is hilarious. This is a love story of sorts but is super gory and witty as hell! And the ending……………the ending left my mouth hanging open trying to figure out what the hell happened! I was totally blindsided and no clue this was going to happen. It is so worth the read. If you took the time to read this review you better take the time to read this story….you won’t regret it! Now I’m off to read The New Death #3!!!!!! I have to continue and see what shenanigans Shep and Horace get into next!

It’s time to go back to my favorite Chicago Tatttoo shop House of Payne!!  Boy does Gail start this one off with a bang!!

Ivy isn’t about to let anyone steal her unique artist signature and she doesn’t care how famous he is.

Ivy is awesome!!!  She is a stuff as nails girls from a rough part of Chicago and has lead a rough life.  The one thing that has been there for her is her art, the thing that she has had all her life.  She might be small but she is mighty and takes no crap off anyone!!

Tag is a internationally known artist, will known as everyone knows the name and art, but no one knows who the mysterious artist actually is. 

I love how Ivy and Tag are introduced!!  Talk about bearing it all for your art, lol.  She’s so talented and feisty I want to be her when I grow up.  I also love how when she learns the truth about something she owns up to her mistakes.

Tag, well I must say I must say he is no Max, however he ain’t half bad. While he is a artist that creates tattoo designs for the House he isn’t a tattooist.  He always goes after what he wants and after seeing Ivy he wants her.

While the way these two get together is not your average meeting, it certainly is fitting for two unique artist to come together in their own unique way.  No one else can say that they met the way they did.

The way the get to see where both Tag and Ivy came from and what they made of themselves is awesome.  It just shows you that you can be more than your surroundings. 

I have never been to Chicago but Gail has a way of making me feel like I am there each and every time I read one of her House of Payne books and a way to make you feel like you are a part of the family that is the House of Payne.

I can’t wait to find out more about the new characters that have been introduced and see our old friends again in the next book!!

Oh Josiah! *swoon* This series just gets better and better. When I read the first book I knew I was hooked. It was steamy, witty, full of angst, and of course there are SHIFTERS!!!! What I expected from the series is that each brother would go through their mating and would have a different story with getting their mates to understand it and a different MMA fight. What I did not expect was for the story to develop in a way that continually pulls you into another story. There are new characters that come into each book and now we have vampires, an ancient magic with the Heka, the wolves from their father’s pack, and tons of craziness. This story has blown up (in an incredible way)! One of the things I love most about this story is that we get to go back into the other book to see Josiah dealing with the events up to his mating that don’t happen until this book. The way they overlap and give us more depth into the story previous is amazing. It makes the world building just that much better. The brothers all have their quirks and I feel like as I get to know them in the books and their mates I can relate something about them to myself or other people I know. Plus, have I said anything about them being shifters? Cuz they are HAWT MMA SHIFTERS!!!! And Sarah, Josiah’s mate….she a badass too and an MMA fighter! I love these books! I love the twists!!! Sooooo looking forward to the next!!!!!!!!! Bring it on, Tricia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sooo, Max is probably some I’ve been waiting forever to read it seems, ever since he started talking to Essie in Steele’s book!!!  I knew what I thought he was going liked from his first words and I’m glad to say he was so much MORE!!!!  I also had pictured who he was going to look like, hello Josh Mario John!!!

Pari, she is someone who has been through some deep s**t, but she didn’t let that break her.  She is someone that has become stronger than even she knew.

Pari works as a waitress at The Mad Cow, love the name, a diner across the street from the House of Payne shop.  Max has been coming to the diner for a month and during that month he has left her little drawings on napkins.  Sometimes funny drawings, sometimes drawings of her, and sometimes very naughty drawings of her.  

As you can tell from the drawings that he leaves her, Max is a artist.  He is one of the premier artist at the House of Payne, the top tattoo shop in Chicago if not the world.

I love how easy these two seem to come together it seems almost effortless, but let’s face it, it wasn’t.  Max has spent that month falling more for the girl with the purple hair and killer butt  than he has for anyone else and Pari has spent that month secretly keeping his drawings and falling for him too.

When her past comes back to haunt her Pari thinks about leaving the city to be safe, but after hearing about her past Max vows to do everything in his power to make sure she is happy, safe, and staying by his side where she belongs.

I don’t think I’ve ever smiled so much while reading a book, not laughed just smiled because these are two characters that I can plainly see in my head and having a picture of Max in you head is a good thing!!

Gail did a wonderful job with Pari’s backstory, showed how you can overcome anything, if you have people that love you and you can trust at your side.  She also wrote about the family that they have in the epilogue and it seems that Max and Pari get everything that could possibly want to make them happy.

I can’t wait to meet Tag in the next House of Payne story, I just know it’s gonna be a good one.

First off that five guys all came to one decision about something is mind blowing and second what else is mind blowing is just them, lol.  When there is danger coming for Bristol the guys all take awesome care to keep her safe.

This is Hissong’s first journey into Reverse Harem and I hope we get to see more from her, maybe a shifter one since her shifter stories are so good.  Whatever it may be I will be reading it.

Welcome to the small town of Haven, where the Grayson brothers live.  The hot, hot, hot Grayson brothers!!

Most books, not all, give us the stories of a older man and younger woman or couples the same age, with this one Jenna Jacobs gives us the story of Gina, a older woman, and Nate, a hotter, younger man and until recently a virgin.

Gina is awesome!!  She is a tough, no nonsense bar owner who is fighting her feelings with Nate.  She is bound and determined that this is only going to be a fling, no matter how much it hurts her heart.

Nate is totally in love with Gina, after all he did give her his virginity and she is a great person too, who cares that she is older than him.  When Gina’s life is in danger Nate shows age is northing but a number and goes to saves her.

This is why Jacob is one of my favorite authors, Revenge On The Rocks is a novella, however so much is packed into it!!!

Family looking out for family,  love, danger, and let’s not forget hot sex!!!!  I am sooo glad that there are more single Grayson brothers, because I can’t wait to come back to visit Haven!!

Nate had spent the day rotating the horses on the family ranch to ensure that each child attending Camp Melody—a respite for terminally ill and special-needs kids—would have a fresh mount. Though it was early April, the day was unseasonably warm. He’d worked up a hell of a sweat saddling, unsaddling, and grooming the steeds. When dinner was done, he’d been anxious to grab a shower and head into Haven. Nate was proud of his feisty woman for taking his dickhead brother to task, but he still wanted to beat the bastard ugly for touching her. Noble’s grin only widened as he hurried around the bar and sidled onto the barstool alongside Nash, who was smirking.

As if sensing Nate’s rage, Gina placed her hand on his chest to placate him before flashing him a gentle smile. “Would you mind hauling out another keg from the cooler for me, please?”

“You know I wouldn’t.” He narrowed his eyes at Noble. “Touch her again, asswipe, and you die. Got it?”

All traces of humor left the man’s face. He raised his hands in surrender. “I was just messing around, lover boy. No need to get your tampon stuck sideways.”

His muscles grew taut. Grabbing Noble’s shirt, Nate hauled him up off his seat. Fury rippled outward as they faced off, nose-to-nose. “Mess around with someone else. Gina’s off-limits.”

“Chill out, man. Christ, I didn’t mean anything by it.”

Nate released his brother with a powerful shove and an evil glare.

Nash let out a low whistle and slapped Noble on the back. “You just got shit on.”

“Shut the fuck up, or I’ll shit on you,” he countered, smacking Nash upside the back of the head.

Ignoring his idiot brothers, Nate exhaled a ragged breath before locking his stare on Gina. The rage inside him instantly melted, replaced by the fiery hunger of demand. This book is complete blissful madness! SAM!!!!  I absolutely love his story. He is a big bad wolf with a super sweet side that no one really knows about….except for Henry!!! While hiding his true feelings from his family he is faced with a fight that he really has to get ready for. Leroy has brought on new partners for the promotions and they are all rubbing the Hallows the wrong way. In the meantime Sam continues to see Henry but is getting very frustrated as the fates won’t allow him to keep Henry forever as a mate. The tension is getting high because two of his other brothers have mated….now it is only a matter of time. But Dee comes into the picture and Boom! We have a trio of mates! Now to explain this to the family, lol! As the story unfolds we find that there is a lot more to Momma Hallow’s amulet and that there are others that are after it. Henry ends up having an evil magic in his blood that he and the brothers didn’t know about. There are more murders and they are getting closer and closer to home. Just when I didn’t think you could put another twist into the storyline the author does an amazing job of shoving one right in your face! This is truly an amazing series with LOTS of stuff going on so there is NEVER a dull moment. It’s an absolute page turner and I cannot wait to get into Josiah’s story next and find out about this magic that consumes Henry, and more about the amulet, and more about the vampires….what I am saying here is that there is so much more going on that going on to the next story right away is a must! I promise, you will love the Hallow brothers as much as I do!

Greyson is a hardcore MC guy who has done some shady things and is and has been totally closed off from anything new. But the problem with all of this is the fact that Eve has no clue who she is and Greyson is a total dick to her because he doesn’t believe he is good enough for anyone so he continues to push her away. The story itself is a rollercoaster full of emotional heartache with some laughs and some crazy HAWT stuff!!!! I am by no means a hardcore MC reader but I fell into the King’s Harlots series where Greyson first appeared and I just cannot get enough of this man! He has such a past that I wanted to uncover and get to know. And our heroine, well she put the cherry on top.

Sticks dug into my feet, the pain slicing through me but no matter how much agony it caused, I ran faster and faster. I didn’t know where I was going. I didn’t know what I was running toward. If there is one thing I have learned about the author with the past series and this book is that there is no end to the twists and turns that can come up. The banter between the MC members and with Eve is funny and definitely keeps Greyson on his toes. He is in constant turmoil over whether he can be the man he thinks he has to be for her and she is trying to figure out if her attraction is love or just that she needs someone to latch on to. But, whew! When the plot twist comes…and there is a couple, it will blow your mind! It is jammed pack full of surprises!!!
