synopsis

Roya desperately wishes she was above ground, on a sunny patio, watching the lake lap up on the shore. Instead, she finds herself trapped with the Lucidites. Her brother is mysteriously wasting away, and at every turn she finds a new betrayal. Just when she thinks she’s finally escaping the Institute, a new danger unveils itself. A secret society of Dream Travelers has declared war on the Lucidites by abducting a head official. It’s up to Roya to figure out who’s behind it and how to save everyone she cares about most. More action packed than its predecessor, Stunned is captivating and will leave audiences squirming from the tension and also begging for more.

Melinda's Review

I received a copy of the audio book for an honest review.

The narration on this was just as great as Awoken. I jumped straight into this one as soon as Awoken was finished. Roya did what she needed to in Awoken but now she is left with more questions and a brother, who knew. Roya is done with the Lucidites and wants mothing more to be back to being normal.  But her brother has been acting off and is sick for some reason. Roya finds herself in a new predicament and is called upon to lead another mission. Will she do what’s asked of her or leave and never look back?

This series is getting better and better. I so enjoyed this one possible a little more than Awoken. The twist and turns were great had me hanging on to every word. Even the side story of Roya/George/Aiden had me hooked and wanted to know what Roya was going to do. The ups and downs in this were stomach dropping just like a big roller coaster. As always the ending was jaw dropping. I had to start Revived right away.

This is shaping up to be another great series by Sarah Noffke.
