#WOTR19 #CoverReveal – Stolen Hearts by Anna Hague

Coming in June

Haley Marcum draws the attention of a bad boy on a motorcycle, but her father’s overprotective tendencies make rendezvouses difficult. She’s sick of him treating her like a child. She’s sixteen, after all, and according to her friends, very mature.

Jamey Marcum’s undercover past made him suspicious of everyone where his children are concerned. He tries giving Haley more freedom, but when he spots Tyler Reynolds watching Haley, his alarm bells go off. Reynolds is no teenager and with his long hair and Harley, the guy reminds Jamey of a past he wants to keep buried.

At odds with Haley over Tyler, Jamey believes he’s taken care of the problem, but Haley disappears into the night. He’s frantic because he knows what can happen to young girls who vanish.

Finding Tyler is the first step…exacting revenge is the second.

For 25 years, I’ve worked as a sports writer. I decided now was the time to pursue romance fiction as an author. I found a great group of RWA author friends who have helped me tremendously.
I get great support from my husband, and although they don’t know it, my three parrots and dog give me a huge boost everyday.

#WOTR2019 #BDSM #Review Angel’s Collar (Love Stricily Tested Book 1) by Anna Hague

I have it all…until he shows me more.

I didn’t intentionally spill wine all over the most beautiful guy in the room, and one look at those icy-blue eyes brings on a major lapse in coherent speech. Jordan Caldera tells me his secret and wants me to join him. This is where my journey into submission begins.

So much about BDSM freaks me out, but at the same time, I can’t help but be intrigued. When I imagine Jordan doing those things to me, I can’t resist the adventure. Mind-blowing sex aside, my life is changing at an alarming rate and getting very complicated. Between balancing my career and my best friend’s concerns, the secrets I’m keeping are killing me.

What am I willing to risk for the new lifestyle I’ve embraced…and the man I love?

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader’s Copy of this book

As much as I love the BDSM Genre I always start a new for me Author like I’m stepping into a cold pool, one toe at a time.  That being said I will also say that I am so very glad that I was given this story.

Yes the BDSM scenes are Hot but  they are simply lovely, not on your face hot.

Emma aka Angel  is telling her story, how she feels that she found her true self within this Dom/Sub relationship.

Something that anyone will tell you is,  not every BDSM relationship is the same, it’s like Baskin Robbins with  41 flavors of kink and you totally see that here.

Jordan, Angel’s Dom, is not a Dom that likes to inflect pain of but when Angel wants to try the flogger, he finds a way to give her what she needs while still being the one she relies on.

I adored hearing how Emma and Jordan meet and fall in love.  The struggles that the couple face are struggles that any couple face and the miscommunications that they seem to have sometimes are too.

This story gives me a feeling of truth, finding love is easy holding onto that love is where the work comes in.  I can not wait for the next part in Angel and Jordan’s story.

Review by Becky

I received the book for my honest review.

This book was different than others have read.  I absolutely enjoyed it!  Following Emma (Jordan’s Angel) step into the BDSM arena and learn added reality for me.  Everyone has to start somewhere.  Emma and Jordan feel deeply in love and had a connection from the first meeting.  Sizzle!!! Dayum!!! Who wouldn’t want to give it a go with a hottie like Jordan??

We followed Emma and Jordan through their sexual growth together.  It didn’t come without difficulties or strain on their relationship.  Emma’s bestie, Sabrina, walked out of Emma’s live when she figured out and was able to confirm that Emma was a collared sub.  The loss of her best friend and her job hit Emma hard.  She lost herself and her marriage and the bedroom arrangement began to suffer.

Jordan and Emma stuck together.  With Jordan’s BDSM knowledge, he was able to put together the ground rules for their relationship to regain their stronger than ever marriage and HOT, HOT, HOT bedroom action.  Emma tells her story to a reporter, Jessica…….not as Emma, but as a disguised woman.

Anna leaves us with hanging when Emma answers the hotel door where the interview was held to see her long lost bestie….walk into the hotel room and ask if the reporter she talked to was Jessica…. Uh oh……there’s some shit behind that!  Kudos Anna!

#WOTR18 #AuthorSpotlight – Attending Author Anna Hague @AnnaHagueAuthor

Tell us your name and then a bit about yourself.

Anna Hague, I live in central Indiana with my husband, three parrots and a dog. We are both sports nuts and especially love IndyCar racing. In my other career, I am a freelance sportswriter. I love that too, and doubt I’ll ever totally give that up. Too many cool perks. (And hot race car drivers). My husband and I don’t have children of our own, but we’ve had 11 foreign exchange students and have been lucky enough to travel to visit several of them in their home countries.

When and Why did you start to write?

I’ve written stories all of my life, but didn’t try to make a serious attempt at publishing until 2015. I decided it’s now or never and put myself out there. I’m so glad I did.

What authors do you always read or suggest to others?

Wow I read so many different authors, but some of my go to’s are Kat Martin, Carl Hiaasen, Aleatha Romig, Tamsen Parker, Christina McKnight and Janet Evanovich

What is the most surprising thing you have found out with the writing process?

Some days you are so on it and the words just fall into place, and other days (which might even be the next day) it seems like you are trying to write in another language. Pleasure and pain.

What are you working on now?

I am working on a BDSM romance series. It is a three-book series with a publisher, so I don’t have a release date as yet, but Book one hopefully will be out by WOTR18. Also, I will have a romantic suspense titled Risk, Reward or Ruin out in July 2018

When writing are you a pantser or plotter?

Total punster. I’m relaxed in chaos and freaked out by organization
