On a dirt road in Nevada, a woman lay dying.

I stopped believing in the good a long time ago.
My childhood was stripped from me one dark night and I was forever changed.
Everywhere I looked I saw evil. Everyone I met, I looked at them as the enemy.
It took a long time for me to open up and when I did I found my family. The only people I could count on.
I never imagined I’d have a family. Because having a family gave me something to lose and I never wanted to feel that pain again. I never wanted to feel weak.
Presley
If there is a disaster, I can be found in the center of it.
If there is a wrong choice to be made, I’m first in line. I mess everything up.
I’m a magnet for disaster, and when I had the chance, I stumbled right into the arms of a tattooed bad boy. One I knew could destroy me.
He wasn’t looking for anything more than one night and here I am, telling him he’s now tied to me forever. Like I said, I’m a mess.

#releaseDay #MC #MM – Mischief Vibes by Ash Marah
Noah
I was a gay cop living is small-town Arizona.
Growing up alongside my perfect twin had me always feeling inadequate.
My life was spiraling faster than I could keep up with, and I definitely wasn’t in control.
One day it all came to a head when I lost control. Instead of breaking up a fight, I joined in while on duty.
I needed help before I made more stupid decisions that might get me—or someone else—killed.
The only person I trusted to give me the tough love I needed was my cousin Shaylinn Walker.
Her family ran the AZ Demons Motorcycle Club. I wasn’t sure what happened there, but that little bit of darkness I had inside of me wanted to find out.
There was only one problem: I’d been crushing on Shay’s adopted straight brother for years. Could I keep my attraction to myself?
When it came down to it, could I really handle the change of scenery and what treading that dark road would mean for my career?
Levi
I had Daddy issues. They messed with my head. I’d grown up as part of the AZ Demons and had been adopted by the President. I had a found family of people who always had my back.
But I felt alone. I hadn’t found that person who fit me and could take on all that came with being part of a motorcycle club.
My family knew I was gay, but I kept that secret close to my chest. Coming out could be dangerous if my biological father found out. He was a nightmare who popped up at the worst times.
When Noah arrived, everything blew wide open. I had been making myself scarce to avoid his visits for years. He was a cop, and the MC did bad things. If I chased him, would I do time?
Resisting Noah was going to take all my strength, I didn’t know if I was up for the job!
While this book is part of the AZ Demons world it can be read as a standalone. Book 1 and 2 are MF, this book is MM.
#wotr25 #attendingauthor #twinsiefortheday #review #Polly Corrupted Innocence: A Dark Mafia Romance (Innocent Brides Book 1) by: Measha Stone
He wouldn’t take my money. He wanted my innocence instead.
When Nikolai Romanov came looking for my brother, I emptied my savings hoping I could pay off his debt. But it wasn’t even close to enough, so Nikolai Romanov decided to take me instead.
I didn’t expect a Russian mafia boss like him to be gentle with me… and he wasn’t.
Not when he spanked me for daring to wear panties under the dress he chose for me, and certainly not when he stripped me out of that same dress and made me scream in his bed.
He told me I would be his for a month, but the way he looks at me says I’m his forever…
Review by Polly
OMG! Really that’s all I have to say… OMG! I was sucked in by the first few pages and stayed firmly seated until the last page was read! This dark mafia romance has it all, steam passion, suspense, “mafia” dealings, family issues, etc. and Charlie and Nikolai (tossing out a Chefs Kiss) – they are fantastic! Oliver, well he can just kick rocks! Would definitely recommend this book!
#WOTR25 #Audio #EnemiestoLovers – Don’t Go Away Mad, Burgers and Brew Crue #2 by Lacey Black
Review by Twinsie Angie
I purchased this audio. I gotta start by saying I enjoyed the male narrator’s voice alot in the series. I had a few issues with the female voice. Several times I turned the story off. Her voice was ok but she has a hard lisp and it made listening at times hard for me.
Jasper and Lyndee were a great read. Book 1 is still my favorite and I loved that their story continued in this book but i did like the new couple.
Lyndee is such a great human, She works hard. She studies hard. She loves hard. She does all she can for her mom and brother. When its just her and her brother they decide to move and start over. She opens a bakery across the street from her college nemesis Jasper.
Jasper is not happy about Lyndee starting a bakery. He immediately jumps to negative conclusions before even talking to her. Stupid boys.
Jamison made me laugh because he could see his friends lust for the baker but his pride wouldnt allow him to admit it. LOL I am excited for his book too.
Jasper and Lyndee help each other out along with the rest of the crew. Lyndee jumps in when the restaurant is struggling one night which makes Jasper appreciate her in a new light. The couple slowly build a relationship which of course blows up due to a stupid boy…smh.
I did enjoy the story and cant wait for the next audio book,

Review by Twinsie Angie
I purchased this book.
I love new series from authors I call a “one click” author. So when Miranda dropped this bad boy I was ready. Life lifed and I had to wait a couple days to get to it but I did finally.
This book is a slight spin off from the other series she has. There are brief mentions of the characters but it is not necessary to read them at all but trust me you will want too.
I love MC stories so I was very excited to read about Karma and her story. I also love the enemies to lovers with Chaos. I mean who doesn’t wanna see that chemistry combust.
The story was a series starter so I know to give it time to open up and tell us all the characters. I will say because we had 2 separate MC clubs it was a little confusing getting all the new characters off the bat. So a few times I was like is that her club? His? Dad’s??
Karma was rejected by her mate and was destroyed. Her dad takes her home and years later she is running her own club without daddy around. Chaos is part of her dad’s club and they soon need to lean on each other to figure out what is going on in the town. Of course they are at each others throats and Karma was sooooo pushing Chaos away. When he starts making deals with her to spend time with him she does it but is still confused about the chemistry. She HAD a mate so there is no dang way he is her mate like he claims.
The chemistry was great. They were perfect pair and I cant wait to see where this series goes in future books.
Mother to two teenage boys, 2 four legged babies, and wife to a loving army veteran who doesn’t mind the extra voices in her head. Miranda grew up on a dairy farm in Illinois, but calls Portland, TN home now. She is an avid reader, coffee addict, wine lover, crafter, and beginning quilter. Though her true passion is in creating her own worlds, characters, and stories for her readers.
#WOTR25 #TwinsieForTheDayPolly – Beautiful March, The Cardwell Family Book #1 by Christy Pastore
A small-town, friends to lovers story is coming your way this spring.
Getting dumped sucks. Getting dumped by your boyfriend days before your best friend’s wedding? It doesn’t get much worse.
Did I mention that the guy who cut me loose was country music’s number one rising star?
And my client.
I thought I was walking into a proposal. Instead, I crashed right into humiliation—dumped and fired.
The silver lining? In a restaurant, there’s plenty of wine to drown my feelings.
In strolls Tyler Nichols, the restaurant owner. He’s charming, handsome and does a good job of trying to make me feel better. A really good job. Sharing my heartbreak with a beautiful stranger is the last thing that I expected.
Turns out, Tyler Nichols is my ex’s best friend. And according to the local gossips—mainly my cousin—he’s got a mysterious past.
No worries, I’m the gal with everything going for her—great job, fabulous apartment and a glamorous life half way across the country in sunny Los Angeles—far away from my hometown and my family’s bourbon empire. I’ll be leaving after the weekend wedding festivities.
That is until my best friend, Sage, finds herself in a jam and needs my help before jetting off on her honeymoon.
So, I’m staying in Mayfield a little longer than anticipated. In just a few short weeks, I’ll march my happy ass back to the West Coast, far away from Tyler’s smoldering gaze and his panty-melting smile. And the chemistry between us that burns hotter than a hickory stump.
But the longer I’m in town, the harder it is to stay away from him. And maybe I don’t want to.

#WOTR25 #Review – Given: Project Xol (Book 6) by Audrey Kaye/Amabel Daniels

Taken to a Xol lab, Cassidy prepares to meet the one woman who’s never wanted her. It’s not clear why the scientist requires her now, but she hangs on to two hopes—that Luke has gotten away and is safe, and that the vial of genetic material they’d fought to protect is destroyed. Life isn’t fair, but she pushes aside the cruelty of losing Luke so soon after finding his love. Survival, however it may come, is imperative, because she refuses to fail in ending the diabolical “cure.”Stranded in Mexico, Luke must contact the one person he’s always wanted to keep from danger. It doesn’t take much to convince his brother to be his backup in rescuing Cassidy from Project Xol’s team, and soon, the brothers follow her trail. Even with the help of the billionaire who’d once funded the research, it seems impossible to take down such a corrupt team hellbent on unethical experiments and producing something that can change the world forever. Despite the odds against them, they can only fight until the end, hoping they have made it in time…Given is the final book of the Project Xol series.
Review by Twinsie Kelly
Holy what the heck in the Jason Bourne did I just finish reading?!?!?! Project Xol for the win!!!
Cassidy is one of my all time favorite characters. She started out as a meek and timid character but her strong badassedness had shown through time and time again. And she does not disappoint in Given. She is literally at the end of her rope but she knows she needs to do the right thing. She is out of tricks and out of rescuers. BUT, the tricks and rescuers are on their way. Even though she is adopted, she is such a pure and genuine person that she has made strong and unwavering friendships with others that become her family. And they are coming to help her. She has to take down her blood family and the diabolical “cure” as it is wrong. A new human subspecies….um, no thank you! When all things seem against you, monsters against humans, you have to pull out all the stops. When you have overcome so many episodes of hell, you can’t just stop. They do not stop. Not til the very end.
This entire series is a page turner! You will keep going and going and going. There is not one part of this series that I would change. Bravo!

Born and raised in Northwest Ohio, Audrey Kaye writes romantic suspense featuring strong, stubborn women and the men who can’t help but fall in love with them. Stealing Dallas
Review by Twinsie Kelly
The truth always wins in the end! While everything worked out and Jagger is released for the crime he didn’t commit, Dallas is missing! WHAT?!
Ok, so, I have to back this up a bit. I said this in the last review too, but I have a love/hate relationship with this series because some of what is happening because it doesn’t seem quite realistic or by the book legally.
**SPOILER ALERT**
Dallas is disabled and is in foster care but has been taken illegally across state lines. Jagger technically has custody of him and is freaking out. He and Rose take off to go after Dallas and his kidnapper. But so much of this seems off. And they end up going to house where Dallas is being kept. Jagger gets shot but the locals aren’t really doing anything. Personally, this seems like a lot of BS. BUT there is plenty of time for extremely hot sex for Rose and Jagger. And all of a sudden, the FBI steps in and BAM! Dallas is saved and everything is A OK.
**END OF SPOILER ALERT**
There are a lot of things with the investigation that were just not realistic which didn’t really sit well with me. It was a very heartwarming homecoming, but it just wasn’t quite enough to make the story great. This was more of a 3.5 for me.
